It is a good concept and one of my only suggestions would be finding some form of protection for your Painter's Servant. It seems that where would be many games where spot removal would be readily available to skew your synergy.
I'm a heavy advocate of Mogg Fanatic for any deck that includes red burn. It offers a secondary turn one move that often proves to be as capable as Rift Bolt. Another card to consider would be Loxodon Warhammer as it may help improve your clock and survival. The disadvantages being its mana cost and creatures you couldn't equip it to post Painter's Servant.
guys.. painters servant says all cards that ARENT in play become hat color...
"As Painter's Servant comes into play, choose a color.
All cards that aren't in play, spells, and permanents are the chosen color in addition to their other"
If you wanted to make a more race style deck you could run a white/red form of the deck. You name red with the servant making everything red. You run pro red creatures, you get 4 of both vivids and maybe the reflecting pools. You run sulfurous blast and you could mainboard Honorable Passage for easy damage.
It would run smoother, and you could get protection from everything cards in white, such as Burrenton Forge-Tender which becomes a Sac: Prevent all damage that would be dealt to you from a single source this turn.
I might build this deck, it looks really painful if you land and protect the servant.
Any thoughts on servant-guards?
More thoughts: Utilize some of the Wafo manabase- Vivids+Reflecting Pool
Run Sulfur Elemental on sideboard then sub it in naming white w/ painter's servant to kill bitterblossom.
Use Mainboard Honorable Passage+Inquisitor's Snare.
Use Dawn Charm to protect the servant and yourself via countering discard spells and regerating the servant.
Use Fulminator mage to hurt the Wafo-Tapo manabase
Wafo's deck is designed against the current meta, and this deck isn't the current meta.
Possibly resurrect to keep the painter's servant alive. Maybe run a black splash to work with Murderous Redcap, Makeshift Mannequin and Fulminator mage easily.
Opal Guardian is meh-ish, but it might work along with Soltari Priest
Luminescence becomes a 1 mana all around damage prevention.
Red would probably be the way to go...it gives you so many more options...plus the white can be done in the board to kill bitterblossom/elves...
I'd like to see the creature base look something like this:
As for the protection for servant, our best two options are Cloak and Dagger or Whispersilk Cloak. The first costs 2 and equips for three while the latter plays for 3 and equips for 2. I'm leaning towards the Cloak...the added evasion may be worth it. As for the rest of the deck, pyroclasm, honorable passage, a few of the other red hate cards should probably make it.
Sulfur Elemental with Painter's Servant on board naming White is actually kind of nice. Nothing you play has 1 toughness, so they wont die and a good % of your creatures will have protection from your opponent's spells/creatures. I see why you are playing Hurly-Burly, so as to not kill off the Servant. Clever. Honestly though, there are so going to be times when you are dying for a Pyroclasm. Imperious Perfect + Elf tokens comes to mind along with Fae tokens once a Scion hits the board. Not to mention Merfolk (taking out Lord of Atlantis, Silvergill Adepts even with a lord out, etc.).
Let us know how the testing works out, I am intrigued by this deck. Also, I think you can cut your land count down to 22 and have no problems. It's not very mana intensive. I dont know what you would want to use to fill in those 2 empty slots, but 2 more creatures/burn could help out.
You say you want to take advantage of pro red, but you have no good cards to take advantage of it.
Pyroclasm is a good card to take advantage of the pro red. It doesn't kill the painter's servant and kills fae. I'm sure theres even more red cards to take advantage of too.
I like the painter- white idea and have been thinking of building a deck with it.
You can use emmissary (beater), martyr of sands (lifegain), blood knight, sulfer elemental (stops bitterblossom), story circle, pentarch ward, pentarch paladin...
Making it a white/ red control gives you protection options for the servant as well.
This is a deck I'm thinking up. It seems a little out their... at bare minimum, but from my thoughts I think it would do well.
The general idea is turn 2-3 drop down Burrenton or Soltari or Sygg, make them pop a removal or 2 if they have it, then on turn 4 drop down Picasso and name red. This is deadly for a few reasons. You can counter every spell for 1U with Flashfreeze, Inquisitor's Snare becomes instant creature kill, Consign to Dream is a 2U time walk if you cast it early enough, and lastly Honorable Passage becomes instant 1W damage redirection at someones face. If they manage to target a spell at the servant, and you can't counter it; You: Sac Forge Tenders to prevent damage, Honorable Passage, Bounce it to the top of your library, or use your sideboard Dawn Charms in later games to protect you moreso.
I think if the servant lands the deck is INCREDIBLY resistant provided you keep up mana to send a Flame Javelin back at its owner, or EOT bounce a creature or card thats threatening giving you an extra turn to find a solution.
After they do manage to kill the servant or Soltari Priest/Sygg, you just drop a lark and you suddenly have a star team back in play.
Oona is there just for synergy with the servant, being able to get a 1/1 fae token for each card mana-1 you pay...
Sower is pretty good against bigger creatures, might be better as like a Firespout or something.
Wrath is a board clearer if you need it.
Shriekmaw is there out of lack of better card.
Makeshift Mannequin I think targets lark or painter to cruel effect, giving you back your powerhouse. Unfortunately servant becomes so much easier to kill, and you can't protect/regenerate it as well. Contemplating Resurrect.
The manabase is a little Wafo-Tapo-ish, but I think it works if you get it online
Wow, I wasn't expecting this many responses. Thanks cats!
My version up top is the simplest version I could come up with. Lately, I've abandoned it until Eventide, when RW will almost certainly get it's Liege (a [mana]1{rw}{RW}{RW} creature that gives other red/white creatures bigness) So long as that creature has more than one toughness, it would be gold in a deck like this one. Servant makes all my mono-red creatures into white red critters, bringing the beats. The Martyr is a nice idea too.
For the Paint White plan, I've been considering adding black for some Deathmark. Spot removal is nice, and it's often not a dead card anyway.
I didn't want to go to a white deck with this strategy. For one thing, this, I figured, would be less expected, and for another, white doesn't get the burn spells.
I've tried building protection from everything decks in just about every standard format. I'm sure I'll be trying one again with Painter. You guys can keep innovating, but I think I'll wait 'till eventide for the Red deck.
The white deck shouldn't be too dependent on the Painter.
I actually thought of something a little different. Right now, the most prevalent removal spells are black, and most of them can't target black creatures (terror, slaughter pact, shriekmaw). So, if you pick black with servant, you are protecting him against the most prevalent removal w/o adding other cards.
Then toss in some pro black creatures. The obvious choice is Chameleon collossus, which is already very good w/o needing a servant on the board.
Tivadar could be a decent inclusion here. Sure, he lacks the pro-black that Paladin has, but since you'll be naming red with painter anyway, he'll be safe. Not to mention he could take down goblin or Collossus in the process.
Anyway, I too was thinking of going the mono-white route. Some of the cards are narrow without a Painter in play, but if your meta is anything like mine, you'll probably face 2 or 3 burn decks anyway and won't even need a Servant in play to win.
Also in red builds Jaya Ballard seems good. Naming blue and ditching a card can be a Vindicate. Add Squee in there and you can do it once per turn without losing CA. Pity there aren't more pro-blue critters running around T2.
Somebody give the man a cookie.. Or the dessertile treat of his choosing..
Brilliant, so adding that...
I started a thread about this deck over on wotc forums: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?p=16015298#post16015298
I've switched out the Snare to sideboard in favor of the dawn charms, which allows it to protect the painter easier, and relies less on the painter.
If someone extirpate's the painter or runs extirpate you want to switch out the flashfreezes or color specific cards because they become useless, and your painter is their main removal target.
The deck could use more card advantage, or more reliable types at least

4 Blood Knight
4 Keldon Marauders
4 Sulfur Elemental
4 Wildfire Emissary
4 Hurly-Burly
4 Rift Bolt
4 Flame Javelin
20 Mountain
4 Keldon Megaliths
4 Dragon's Claw
4 Magus of the Moon
3 Smash to Smithereens
2 Sulfurous Blast
2 Akroma, Angel of Fury
It's a basic burn deck with some minor synergy with Painter's Servant. You'll be choosing white with the servant.
Blood Knight/Wildfire Emissary + Paint = Protection from everything.
Sulfur Elemental + Paint = +1/-1 to all creatures, shrinks Bitterblossom tokens.
Any recommendations would be lovely.
