I wanted to make a revolt deck and wasn't sure how competitive it would be, but it synergizes really well. There are many combos within the deck. It relies on cheap land filtering spells and the fact that every card that can leave the battlefield both costs no mana to do so and benefits you somehow. One of the main drivers is Aethergeode Miner. It's not heavy on energy but you typically have enough to pop her a couple times. The deadeye harpooner is simply amazing in this deck since it's incredibly easy to trigger. Scrounging Bandar gives you another way to trigger revolt and pump your guys at the same time. It's light on land but it can run efficiently on 3 lands total. Hidden herbalists give it an amazing boost, possibly giving you a turn 3 aethergeode miner, hidden herbalists and either harpooner or a fat liberator. It's not uncommon to have a 4/3 liberator on turn 2. I don't like not having removal in the main deck but I wanted synergy between every card. Multiple hidden herbalists turn 2 is amazing.

I wanted to go into GW because of the insane value of some new cards, but ended building another GW tokens (Sram's expertise into Nissa, voice of zendikar is awesome...)
I really like this deck, but I'm pretty sure 16 lands won't be enough. Maybe add 4 evolving wilds which enable revolt.
I'll go try and build something, and test it, and i'll be back to share!
i ran 20-30 test games and actually got flooded a lot... 4 attunes and 4 maps make it impossible to get hosed.. i thought 16 might be too few until i tested and found many games (in cockatrice, vs myself) id get too many... maybe it would play differently in a physical deck, but the synergy is quite good... held its own vs u/w flash and w/r aggro

i tried making almost this same deck and for whatever reason it didnt feel nearly as smooth.. seems like it should work on paper, and maybe i just need to tweak something... was testing b/g counters with the snake and its amazing when the snake is out but without snakes its meh... revolt is a definitely interesting mechanic - fatal push is an amazing powerful card if you can trigger a revolt too
Have you tried adding a little black?
I haven't had a chance to test this list yet but it feels pretty good. Suggestions?
On phone so sorry about lack of deck tags, will edit later
^ I did play with a GWB one but it was a mixture of revolt and counters, using oath of ajani, the token snake, yahenni, some revolt creatures, etc. Seems like it has promise. So far I've made 30-40 decks from the new set to test out so it'll be a lot of tweaking in the next month.
Abzan is back in standard for sure. As much as I like brewing with Tezzeret and artifacts, the real winners this set are going to be GWx token decks. They got so much power right now thanks to the counters and with the lack of Smuggler's Copter to strengthen faster aggro decks, the GWB abzan deck is probably the strongest one in the format for that mid-range creature focused approach we got. Heck, the only board wipe effective against it from testing has been Fumigate and even that gets negated by the answer Heroic Intervention. The only deck that worries me is the Felidar Guardian Combo, which is in a way the next Smuggler's Copter of the format thanks to Saheeli Rai.
... also why is everyone ignoring Scrounging Bandar? By gods it's the best damn +1/+1 token spreader that is also a creature since Servant of the Scale. Except that we also get to combine it with Winding Constrictor. The only downside is that you got to wait to move tokens, but having that liberty to give a buff to something like Maulfist Revolutionary is pretty good.
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

I agree, the bandar has been testing well. It also will, many times, put another creature out of reach of yahenni's expertise.
Attune does nothing for the first deck. Cut 4 Attune, add 2 land and your deck is faster. Map does the revolt trigger, so maybe it's okay. You definitely want instant removal though. Stasis Snare may be the best option in GW currently so that's where I would go.

See Im thinking of leaning more towards revolt and less towards counters. Im not really interested in any of the plainswalkers for this deck. Removal well keep in the side board. I wanna keep the mana curve low so im not going to need to run any of the revolt for more mana. the enablers im lookin at running are unbridled growth for obvious reasons. hope of ghirapur looks like a good round 1 play that can enable a 2nd round revolt and stop them from casting noncreats for 1 turn. greenbelt rampager if he stays on the board cool, but 1 green to enable and he triggers ninth bridge patrol. scrounging bandar 2/2 creature, enabler if need and also would trigger ninth, then combo him back with renegade rallier Then conviction +1/+3 enchantment i can bounce back to my hand for 1 to save,to move, or to enable. Then of course the revolt creatures narnam renegadegreenwheel liberatorrenegade rallierdeadeye harpoonersolemn recruit and you cant run the deck without the only 2 things that cost more than 3. aid from the cowl and call for unity for end game
Why is nobody using Eldrazi Displacer? Displacer+Hope of Ghirapur+Renegade Rallier is a soft lock against noncreature spells.
Seems limited, since you need C mana, 3 specific cards, and it only works on your turn and only if the HOG does combat damage. The rallier is just sexy regardless. Love using him with scrounging bandar, renegade map or unbridled growth.

the mana revolt dude is a must have in any revolt deck with green... more than once ive had two of them in my hand, and went hidden herbalists/hidden herbalists/something for 2 green mana on only turn 2. Liberator here is god, but I'll take a bandar or heart of kiran, or whatever.
it seems like a good idea in the deck, but since the deck lacks defense and tempo control (aside from the harpooner) it just makes it too slow... revolt triggers need to cost 0 mana to make the deck efficient

it lets you trigger your geode miner to get a free revolt... the deck only has one 1 drop creature so its not a bad first turn play if you dont have the map, but yeah, its definitely not crucial... the deck i posted was more of a rough draft, ive been doing a lot of experimenting and think i have a lead on a top-type deck that wins against both u/b control and r/g energy most of the time.
Displacer also has an odd combo with Hidden Herbalists. For 2C you get GG. With Panharmonicon you get GGGG. Sadly, this doesn't feed into 2C, but you could imagine using this mana to do something else. For something easier, try scions. Those sac themselves, and do everything you might want in a mana-acceleration revolt deck.

I feel like keeping the mana curve low to the ground is best. I'd cut it off at 4 cmc, mostly for Gideon, who would cost 3 thanks to Oath of Ajani. The Oath is great for triggering revolt due to it being legendary. Plus the Renegade Rlier can grab it from the yard for extra damage.
honestly, i dont think revolt can really work in the current standard. besides people not using evolving wilds, which is begging to be used in this deck, there are no fetches to make this deck really viable. rumor is, they'll be in the next block, but until then, it won't really work as a deck.
and besides, where are the tireless trackers or any clue supplies. even walking balista would work here too. use up the counters, and you get another 'revolt' enabler.

This deck's only weakness is GB and that's if they nut draw on you. I have handily beat Mardu Vehicles and Saheeli Cat easily with the deck listed above.
Tireless Tracker is for decks playing 20+ lands; this deck doesn't need to play many lands. What are you going to revolt turn 1? Narnam Renegade? Oooooooo.

Just so you know, panharmonicon refers to triggered abilities (starts with when or whenever). Greenwheel Liberator has neither of these and thus will not trigger twice. It was my first build attempt when the set came out and I was sad to learn this.
I like Hope of Ghirapur as an early revolt enabler. Also Unbridled Growth is great for an early trigger. And as I've stated before, I believe Oath of Ajani to be a good enabler as well. Given this, do you guys think Restoration Specialist could be something to consider? Depending on what you choose to return, It could also act as a few extra copies of Renegade Rallier, returning the above cards to your hand while triggering revolt itself.
So the following deck won 10 matches this weekend. It's maybe not a Revolt deck itself because it only runs one such card: Hidden Stockpile, but it is extremely effective with it.
Taking this as inspiration, I built an aristocrats deck that adds Renegade Rallier and cuts Gideon because I don't have him. This list works really really well.
The deck does a lot of cool things, but biggest part is repeatable scry power from Catacomb Sifter and Hidden Stockpile, repeatable draw from Tracker and Inspector, and the most famous Revolt card of the set, Fatal Push. As for enablers, 4 Evolving Wilds, and every spell in this place, except Scrapheap, Cutthroat and Call for Unity enables Revolt. And that means you basically always get a Servo, always Rallier a permanent, and always can push a 4-drop.
And then we have Fumigate. Which plays fine with Stockpile, with Cutthroat, with Yahenni.
Feedback is appreciated.
