I saw the standard stuff Smokebraiders, Nova Chaser, and Hostility but it was a R/B version and had Shriekmaws in it too. I also saw Furnace of Rath from the SB.
Although I faced it in the top eight I found it to be one of the easiest match-ups of the day.

If I do good - I feel good. If I do bad -I feel bad. That's my religion.
A good Elemental list? They're everywhere...would you prefer the "combo-ish" variant with Fatal Frenzy or the straight up aggro?
Here's one:
4 X Flamekin Harbinger
4 X Flamekin Bladewhirl
4 X Smokebraider
4 X Incandescent Soulstoke
3 X Nova Chaser
3 X Changeling Berserker
4 X Spectral Force
4 X Briarhorn
4 X Shriekmaw
Yeah i saw that chapin finally realized turn 3 if you have lens is too late to mess with opponents... Also martyr+ Imperial mask fix burn if you dont keep a stupid hand... or you test on MWS and your opponent pulls 3x incenerate and 3x tarfire(guy i was playing earlier and tarmorack couldnt deal with that since my damnations suddenly where dead cards.
Also where you running RG or fog?
Don't insult me. I don't evne have mws downloaded on my computer, let alone test on it. The deck can theoretically get wins vs Rg, but it doesn't in reality. I was running Rg. I assure you the turbofog player was competent (better than the vast majority of players on this site).

He would be if SRdude was playing him of course. Actually i wasnt even running turbo fog, if you would read my post and pay attention you would know that. I was running tarmorack post board and kept a hand with light discard... i was actually showing how pointless testing on MWS is you self important prick. Reading is tech... unless its something you have posted. Also if my post was hard to read sorry about that everyone, I looked the post in question over and it is a bit difficult to keep up with the topic jump, however point remains SRdudes attitude is absolute crap
Also it shows a severe lack of intelligence on your part to discredit the "vast majority" of the players on this site and then continue to come around here posting because after all what could we possibly offer to the amazing SRdude(Note: im not stroking your ego im pointing out how big it is).
Another thing why if you are that good do you not come around here with advice? Instead all you ever do is go around posting about how bad certain ideas are and then never mentioning any suggestions for how to improve them. Are you any better than petroleum jelly who got banned for doing exactly what you do which is troll thread and make a general ass of yourself? I am all for criticism and discussion but please bring more to the table than your fingers in your ears like a little kid throwing a tantrum and yelling "no" at every suggestion or idea you see.
Yes mods i know im receiving an infraction for this but it deserved to be said.

I played my first game against turbofog, it was a white green version. It was extremely easy to win. I was using relic control. After getting through 3 *** I threw out teferi, it was game over.
I am just going to laugh when Turbofog whens states somehow.
Overall, Yes turbofog has good match-ups.
So do precons.
Turbofog just gives your opponents too many options, and when a white player goes do you wanna scoop because of my austere command? It just dies.
No REAL deck plays Austere Command. If you say a deck is playing them I will discredit everything you say, well I already do discredit everything you say for playing such a bad card. So saying pointless comments like that is dumb. That is like saying "If I take out all the lands in your deck you scoop." Same logic.

LOL glad i wasnt the only one laughing about that.
I just want to say that there is no way Turbofog should ever win against a Teachings deck. It has all the answers against it O-rings and howling mines get bounced so easily with venser, or get outright countered. Got to love the grim harvest engine to bounce stuff all day with venser. Also extirpate helps a lot in the side. Plus, tell me what Turbofog's answer is to spellburst. Late game it's just a wall of countermagic.
My friend even played against a Turbofog deck at states with his teachings deck. Not only did he get game 1, but he sided in shadowmage infiltrators, and humiliated the Turbofog player by taking it all the way with a single infiltrator over the course of 20 or more turns.
Exactly why the deck needs to be snow-base....I hear Mouth of Ronom is some good v. Teferi.
Cheers,
Austin
Well, the people that advocate TurboFog also need to realize that the only version to survive this format will be the Blue versions, not the Rites versions... Refer to my post on the TurboFog thread if you wonder why... You are not going to be able to beat a blue-based control deck with a GW(/b) control deck. You wanna know why? Because it's impossible... There is nothing in those colors that even remotely gives you a chance to beat a *competant* Teachings/Pickles/UW control player that is drawing 4+ cards per turn.
And to be truthful, right now I'm having a real hard time beating Pickles and UGw Blink with my UW version of the deck anyway. So, take a step forward and play U in the deck instead of G, they make your control matchups a hell of a lot easier while only slightly diluting only a couple of the aggro matchups(and despite what SRDude says, it beats RG Goyf).

Very true, very true. I play the WG version of TurboFog for a couple of weeks... it has about a 2% win percentage against decks running blue. I've tested against UB Teachings, UW Blink, UB Faeries, MUPickles and other random stuff. My entire sideboard is dedicated to beating blue (Eyes of the Wisent, Quagnoth, Sunscour, Lignify, Aven Mindcensor) and the win percentage probably goes up to about 5%. You can't even hope for the opponent to get mana screwed cuz you're not applying any pressure at all. I'll have it made for awhile, breaking it out to the local FNM once in awhile, but that's as far as it can go.

Level 3 Magic Judge
Do you know any judges who always impress you with their work ethic, knowledge, or attitude? Nominate them to be the next Judge of the Week!
It has amazing matchup against almost all noncounter deck. I play on magic online with a version that is not great, but not a bad version, and almost never loose to goblins, tarmorack,Pickels or other jank rouge style decks. I'm having a real hard time understanding why you are saying it's bad against anything other then blink. Tarmorack looses once you drop your second Mine, which I have not had any problem doing. Any red, green, black deck looses to Storycircle. Mouth beats the pickels and Teferis. All tribes go down to Wrath/Sunscour/Austere Command (3/1/1 incase of Exterpate). Dawn Charm is great against discard, burn, or aggro. Eyes and hoofprints after board beats counter decks.
The only real hard matchup I have found is blink and heavy counters preboard (cancel, runesnag, blue command. Blink is always bad though.
Please explain why these matchups are bad because I just don't see it, or have not played against a single good player yet. Thanks.
Btw, to You are not Pro; Austere Command is a great card. It wreaks this deck and a you said "no REAL deck plays it" Look at the First place La deck. It's great because it destroys anything that is problem cards besides Walkers and lands. I don't have a link but here is the actual deck:
Im a turbofog player who missed the cut at States/Champs on the grounds that i tapped my mana wrong and went 4-2-1 instead of 5-1-1 when i woulda won the following turn.
A way to beat control is as follows,
Extirpate Maindeck, with Gemstone mines and the all powerful Urborg it makes this possible also makes your gemstones re-usable as swamps!
Mouth of Ronom in an all Snow-Covered Deck, Helps drop teferi followed by a swift extirpate allows you to save ur butt!
Extirpate after wrathing a guile is godly against sonic boom!
Anyways those are a few tips i have, i also maindecked a Quagnoth and Sehts Tiger for w/e reason
Those are a few ways to make it slightly plausible against most forms of control, i did infact beat two control decks at champs and lost to 1, 2-1 (forgot about eyes of the wisent tokens cost me the game) and that guy went on to win Ontario Champs.

Really? Resolving a Kill spell to stop a decks only win condition, let alone setup the Extirpate to lock them out of the game is a good strategy? I'm more curious how you got the wrath off honestly
And MD'ing cards for "w/e reason" isn't a lot of help.
Most of the builds of Turbo Fog I have seen are of the "bore you to death" variety, and thats why they cant beat control - you cannot bore a control player to death.

Turbofog is an awful deck. It's only good against aggro, and even then it can't beat several types of popular aggro and has unfavorable post board matchups against even more forms of aggro! Why would you play a deck like this, considering it isn't even fun in the first place?

Never thought about the players who draw with fog going into the control players racket, good point. hmm..
right because a spellburst is going to lock a player out when everything that player is casting is an instant... right.
