The point is that with no MD or SB win-cons, he does lose to a mill to 0. You have such a variety of good options to play, play something!
You are all also assuming that the person milling to 0 is an idiot - they can play spells too, they just start slower. It matters even less if you get your draw engine going. Also, if your 8th drawer is in the last few cards of your library, you won't be able to get it before you mill to nothing.

Thanks to Fogatog of Epic for the awesome avatar and spiderboy4 of High~Light Studios for the amazing banner.
UMM wow pickles lock against this deck is causing problems? really that blows my mind. if you resolve one chronomantic escape with savant in the gy they lose.... end of story... i will skipp my next four turns... you draw 20 cards and you cant attack me... lets see that direct damage U player.
Also there is NO reason this deck shouldnt be running 4 mouth of ronoms... end of story.
Prophery Nodes and Sunscour have both been helping me against pickles.
I still hate playing them
Very nice idea... the nodes sounds good. Also 2 main deck chronosavants is usually good.. also imperial mask is required for this deck otherwise it rolls to tarmorack.
Another random thought, go 5 color (crazy right?) and add darkness (plus other black goodies?) and blue solely for academy ruins to recur discarded mines and prismatic lens to keep yourself ahead on card count for the mill victory.
The deck isn't mana intensive that you cannot run a load of vivid lands, terramorphic expanse, and prismatic lens to smooth you colors.
Just a thought.

So what a singleton Chronosavant to ensure that you don't deck yourself first? You'll likely discard him from a too big hand, then you can just slap him back into play a turn or so before someone is actually decked.
It can also act as a nice beater should you find yourself in a situation where milling just doesn't work (i.e. skipped draw steps from Null Profusion or Colfenor's Plans).

Thanks, to Zaphod for the m4d sig and and to Fatal GFX for the wicked avvy!
This is my monowhite build. It has one every game it has played so far except for one against my friend that beat me with infinite damage and a trixy pandemonium deck. I fell in love with this deck the instant I started to play it. I have had a couple of concession to ajani's tokens. A vast majority it has gotten terrored or dead goned.
I am only running austere command because I am cheap, and I want to actually build this deck.
Actually, since I run deck thinning chronosavant and skipping turns is usually really helpful in their last turns.
Angel of salvation hasn't been useful so I may as well put in chronomatic escapes.
Also, I think control may be a problem for this deck.
I do honestly think it needs another colour but I am not sure which. I wouldn't call jace a "splash", and I only want a splash so I don't throw off martyr. Black?
well this might seem sarcastic but how about a green splash for rites of flourishing?
Doesn't sound as bad as you'd think. In some playtesting I did with Turbofog, Rites of Flourishing worked amazingly well. Take from that what you will.
didnt know anyone ran turbo fog without rites... kinda what makes the deck clock maderatly fast, instead of blazingly slow.
Well, with Jace now around, you could splash for blue instead and use Jace's first ability to replace Rites'Mine effect. This would give you a different set of tools to work with and the ability to, you know, almost insta deck the opponent after a few turns. You'd lose the free mana acceleration though, which can actually be useful.
agreed with felex plus in our deck jace is way to hard to protect on the burn aspect. Rites is just better... plus "splashing" for jace doesnt work overly well.
I thik that WU are the best colours for fog. Y'see forced fruition puts them on a short clock and jace has the effect of flourishing without speeding up their land drops. Plus blue has a couple of grave reset buttons outside of cane (blessing not counted).
Edit: I might actually go back on some of what I said, green command = win.
I've been playing and testing 3 color Turbo Fog and it's quite solid against both control and aggro.
3 Snow-Covered Forest
5 Snow-Covered Plains
4 Snow-Covered Island
3 Mouth of Ronom
4 Horizion Canopy
3 Vivid Creek
2 Vivid meadow
2 Vivid Thicket
4 Martyr of Sands
4 Rites of Flourishing
4 Howling Mine
4 Dawn Charm
4 Wrath of God
4 Pollen Lulluaby
4 Oblivion Ring
3 Jace Beleren
3 Forced Fruition
SB
3 Story Circle
3 Krosan Grip
2 Gaea's Blessing
3 Pithing Needle
3 Imperial Mask
The SB is kinda janky but I dont really know what to expect and if discard is dead then i take out Imperial Masks. Story Circle rapes all the aggro going around obv and Gaea's Blessing is just there in case of other blue decks running Jace. The main board is really solid i keep trying to force in sunscour but I keep taking them out; they really are overkill. Charms are game winners against mono black control with the new black commards. Those are the only games i've lost with it. I think i lost one matchup to mono red aggro with the elements and all that acc with it. I got color screwed for white so it's basically GG when that happens.
Has anyone tried Hoffprints of the Stag in there list? its working amazingly in this list, which is straight GW. Will be playing this in the T2 tourney.
The purpose of Gaea's Blessing is so you can put cards back over time. At the end of the game, you'll have a 10-20 card advantage over your opponent, not counting the draws they'll have to take from your turbo.
Yeah blessing is better then just for using against mill. Really it cantrips and increases card quality over time.
If you have the room its a fine card to run and can really increase overall quality of the draws while getting cards back into your library slowly.
When I ran the 3 color version GWb before Lorwyn Extirpates biggest use for me was getting cards out of the library.
99 times out of 100 I would try to pick a card I felt had 3+ copies in there deck.
I was usually ahead but it would speed up the kill significantly. Imperial Mask is also useful in the sideboard of this deck a lot of times teachings will get smart and start throwing draw spells at you.
So to prevent that mask helps a lot if you can resolve it that is.
I think this could be a good version of the deck
but i'm sorry to say this deck could not go get popularity nor victories in big competitions although it has potential.
why say so? O_o
###
btw, i play a similar list too, but i have imperial mask in my build.
btw, what are the bad matchups of this deck that u guys think? cause MWS testings arent that accurate imo(i tested it on mws)
Aggro is a bye for the most part. Tamorack the question becomes, do you get imperial mask down through there wall of discard. If not you lose. Teferi control isnt that hard of a matchup IF you run chronosavants. Similar with pickles. Although those two are still really hard.
But in the current meta, how serious a threat are either Pickles or DDL/Teferi/Teachings control? Sure, they're great against this deck...but do they stabilize fast enough to not just bend over and grab their ankles to the slew of aggro decks that are popping up and that are bound to be run at States?
If the meta is shaping up the way it seems to be (fast aggro decks/Haakon combo decks/mid-range G/B(W) decks, etc), this deck seems like the one to run the table. All the previously mentioned strategies (with the exception of Hak/Slash...which can fairly easily be boarded against and is quite the fragile combo) rely on creatures to do their dirty work. (Sure..TarmoRack has its Rack..but if the Turbo engine is in place, you shouldn't have to worry about not having a hand...)
So in the final analysis...is the deck the one to play? lol
Cheers,
Austin
Edit: Also..in these colours..we have access to some great anti-permission cards..EotW and Hoofprints. With these in the board, what stands in the way?
Why are you all running Horizon Canopy over Brushland? Isn't that draw option a BAD thing, considering how much you'll be drawing anyway? May as well pack something that doesn't hurt you if you only need 1.
Also, I've been looking for the slow control deck for Hoofprints of the Stag to run in, and here it is. Every turn late game is 2W: get a 4/4 flyer? Glorious!
