Need to see your sideboard but one of the best card against control is Chandra and you need to play at least 2. Tireless tracker is also excellent against control.
Agreed. Tireless Trackers are amazing against control and mirror matches.
What do you think is good sideboard against Mardu Vehicles. Surprisingly, my LGS has at least two players with mardu. I'm using more or less the original RG Marvel build. My current SB options against Mardu are 3x Nature State and 2x Kozilek's Return. I've considered Galvanic Bombardment. Thoughts?
PS
For those who don't know, Chandra, Torch of Defiance first +1 ability can redirect the 2 damage for each opponent to one of their planeswalkers (Rule 306.7).

Against mardu vehicle Galvanic Bombardment, natural state[/card and Kozilek's Return are all fine choices. I usually cut down to only 3 or even 2 big eldrazi, cut the tormenting voice, 1 land and world breaker if you play it main deck.
It's the typical RG Marvel list with minor changes like 2x Nissa, Vital Force and 1x Chandra, Torch of Defiance instead of 3x Chandra. Also 2 Ulamogs, 3 World Breakers, 3 Emrakuls and 2 Ishkanakhs as the finishers.
Other than that it's the same as most Marvel decks.
Why so many breakers and -1 Ishkanah, she is that good!
I think the deck is 1 Ulamog and 2/3 Breakers too heavy for a good Game 1 Aggro matchup.
Are these budget constraints? Why do you like nissa show much? I would bring her in against control actually.
And yes tireless tracker is good against control.
Frankly, I can do with just one Ulamog mainboard. The card is a dead draw unless you have a Tormenting Voice to discard or the mana dorks, lands, and Chandra on the field to hard cast. In my test plays, 3x Ishkanah mainboard are a must and 2 or 3 World Breakers are just too slow against aggro decks. Most, if not all, should remain in SB in my opinion. They are perfect against UW Flash and control decks.
Im running GB over RG. Main reason to run black over red is discard, LL vs "mirror", and you can even use Flayer manipulation. Demon is a nice hit vs aggro and is not dead vs control as you can reanimate (even dead bluehulks). 3 Grasp seems light, I preferred having 4. Ulamog is clunky (no option of Voice or Reunion discard), either out or compliment it with self discard (Collective Brutality). Trackers MB is a meta choice. I moved them to the SB, in a Vehicles/eneRGy meta.
The Puzzleknots are the primary sources of energy, able to be cast with green, blue, or even colorless mana, making them ideal followups to Aether Hub. Aether Theorist and Servant of the Conduit are good backups with additional utility that can also help protect you against ground aggro. Glint-Nest Crane not only helps draw into Marvel or Puzzleknots, it also blocks fliers including Copter.
Seeing as Emrakul, Marvel, and Copter are some of the biggest threats in Standard right now, Ceremonious Rejection is a crucial counterspell. Of course, that means you will also likely encounter Rejection, so Dispel is a good supplement (and since your opponents will quite possibly run Dispel as well, it's a good counter against itself).
Invasive Surgery is the best answer to Lost Legacy, which is a major threat against this deck without a proper answer.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Why not trackers? Everyone plays them. I just want to know if you are seeing something I'm not or if it's personal preference.
Pretty sure I already explained that but fine.
My sideboard plan against control is to get as many cast triggers as possible. Sowers are great at that because they also ramp you which makes it easier to hard cast bigger things like Emrakul and Ulamog later. Sower's body means it is also a pretty big threat so your opponent will most likely use a counter spell on it. Or a removal spell. This means one less counter/removal for things like World Breaker, Ulamog, Emrakul.
Tracker is fine, but it doesn't suit my plan against control.
edit: let me put it that way. With my sideboard plan opponent has the following cards that he basically has to counter or remove:
4x Aetherworks Marvel
3x Chandra
4x World Breaker
3x Oblivion Sower
3x Ishkanah
3x Emrakul
2x Ulamog
+ some number of other Chandras.
And most of them do damage even when they are countered. That's the general idea behind the cards I use against control.
I dunno man, if you have space for that why not run fens instead.
Blighted Fen instead of Blighted Woodland? Doesn't seem right to me.
Thats an interesting strategy. I like trying to apply pressure early to get under counterspells to force them to cast something on their turn giving me an opening or be able to cast multiple spells on one turn, like tracker then defiant chandra or marvel.
Current list I am running(Few changes to help me against the meta at the 2 LGS I visit)

SIDEBOARD:
- 4 Whirler Virtuoso
+ 2 Kozilek's Return
+ 1 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
+ 1 World Breaker
If anyone has a better sideboard guide vs the current meta, feel free to post it. Naya seems good, but only if you know your facing other Marvel decks. My LGS all run aggro or control decks. I thought this was a good set up.
I think like me you have been siding whirlers out a lot, i've been considering just scrapping them altogether.
I like they so far in the main board mainly because it forces them to keep their Radiant Flames in the deck(if they run them) and maybe bring in more removal. I am not sure exactly what I would replace them with.
Also, if you bring in Kozilek's Return, you don't want to be producing the 1/1 thopters, that's my thought on it anyway. The control decks all run radiant flames and fumigates main/sideboard.
I think like me you have been siding whirlers out a lot, i've been considering just scrapping them altogether.
I've seen them being sideboarded out against aggro, but I think that's where they shine the most. So often they help me to stabilize against aggressive decks so I can activate my Marvel Aetherworks before even going to single digit life points. I just love them. Also, they're good against control. They provide a somewhat reliable threat so they can't just wait for your Marvel Aetherworks to counter it and then sit on their Torrential Gearhulk to do it again. The mere existence of Whirler Virtuoso forces them to keep a certain amount of removal in their deck.
What I'm getting at is that I see Whirler Virtuoso being sideboarded out much more often than I think they should.
does anyone have a SB guide?
Still havent figured that one out, would like to mull it over with ya'll.

Big reason to take it out vs control decks, game 2 is because they either start with 2 or 3 board wipes in the main or will board in more for game 2. That is the main reason I remove them VS control.
Kozilek's Return better at stabilizing VS aggro than the Whirler. casting from graveyard is extremely nice as well.

Question is if one boards out whirlers against control due to sweepers, what are you boarding in? I think it's a great early threat that can get under counters and starts the clock early. Gives you something to do with your energy, thopters can block gearhulks and it's basically 2 creatures in one.
K.return:
Except against creatures with 3 or greater toughness. It also burns you own spiderlings.
I normally bring in counter magic VS control to protect my strong cards. I run dispel and negate in sideboard. Also bring in tireless tracker, world breaker, another copy of ulamog. Cast triggers can and will win you games.

Against control, U/R Dynavolt Tower version in this example, my initial thoughts are to board out:
-4 Harness Lightning, -1 Emrakul, -1 Chandra, Flamecaller, -2 Marvel (want more threats and dont want to lean so hard on resolving this), -2 Puzzle(dont need the life gain or as much energy)
and board in:
+3 dispel, +1 Negate, +4 Tracker, +1 World Breaker (Exile Gearhulk, tower or Fumarole), +1 Ulamog

well exactly, the deck only plays 22 lands, on average. Adding more colorless lands leads you to more mulligans, its not like the deck needs to ramp.

Dont make it even by doing mistakes yourself
what do you take out?
my list:
4 Servant of the conduit
4 Whirler Virtuoso
3 Ishkanah, Grafwidow
1 World Breaker
3 Emrakul, the Promised End
Spells - 23
4 Attune with Aether
4 Vessel of Nascency
4 Harness Lightning
4 Woodweaver's Puzzleknot
4 Aetherworks Marvel
2 Chandra, Torch of Defiance - only have 2, Puca wont ship me another
1 Chandra, Flamecaller - because I dont have a 3rd Defiant Chandra.
6 Forest
4 Mountain
1 Island
4 Aether Hub
3 Evolving Wild
2 Botancial Sanctum
2 Cinder Glade
4 Tireless Tracker
3 Natural State
1 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
1 World Breaker
2 tears of Valakut
3 dispel
1 negate
Against control, U/R Dynavolt Tower version in this example, my initial thoughts are to board out:
-4 Harness Lightning, -1 Emrakul, -1 Chandra, Flamecaller, -2 Marvel (want more threats and dont want to lean so hard on resolving this), -2 Puzzle(dont need the life gain or as much energy)
and board in:
+3 dispel, +1 Negate, +4 Tracker, +1 World Breaker (Exile Gearhulk, tower or Fumarole), +1 Ulamog
What do you guys think?
