Does anyone have an idea for a mono-red board yet? My local store is having a midnight release day standard... My local meta is traditionally blue dominated, so heavy on the sweepers may not be needed...

Exactly which of those spells do you plan to board in against blue control decks? You need to have more low casting cost beatdown creatures or maybe even a couple of Repeating Barrage so you can keep hitting them for 3 every other turn once you reach 5 mana, they can only counter so many.
I run 2 Flings in my board along with 3 Kari Zev's expertise so that if they don't counter the expertise the Fling will go through as well. It doesn't mean you have to fling their creature, if they have a bigger one you can get it with expertise and fling your creature at their head or other blocker and then hit them with their own creature...hopefully for the win that turn.

I don't like the Repeating Barrage plan. At all. It requires raid and is horribly inefficient. Last season I felt much better served boarding in cards like Fleetwheel Cruiser. It dodges sweepers, outside StW, and gives you a live draw later that could steal a game. I don't hate bringing card like Captain Lannery Storm in, for similar reasons, but the 3 drop is crowded between Crasher and Ferocidon. Incidentally, if you're not on 3, or more, Ferocidon, you should be. If you're worried about Scarab Gods or GPGs, Sorcerous Spyglass is the way to go. Its cheap, prevents the game breaking abilities from being activated, and since its an artifact, it is difficult, or impossible, for the decks you'd bring it in against to interact with.
