It’s like the universe screams in your face, “Do you know what I am? How grand I am? How old I am? Can you even comprehend what I am? What are you, compared to me?” And when you know enough science, you can just smile up at the universe and reply, “Dude, I am you.”
Chandra, torch of defiance is kind hard to go past for best card in the set though
Then most of the gearhulks starting with the green one.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance is definitely on Gideon, Ally of Zendikars level of utility. I think Gideon still has her beat on the number of decks she fits into, but that utility is just impressive. She still isn't as good as some of the other cards in the set, though. Chandra feels like she exists to get people to brew around her and because of that I'm shaky on if she finds a good home over other options. For me, Smuggler's Copter is a breakout card in the format. A 3/3 that can dodge sorcery removal and loots is invaluable for midrange to fix their hands while also getting in some extra damage.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
I don't know about the copter, you still have to crew it and without mana dorks it seems like you'd have to be tapping a good creature to give it power. unless servos are actually a thing. Its not like Chandra and gearhulks where top decking them is almost always good (unless you are stuck on mana)
Best card is kind of a hard call so I'll narrow it to the top 5.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance Nissa, Vital Force Skysovereign, Consul Flagship Ceremonious Rejection OneoftheGearhulks]
Cheated at the end a bit but yeah. Chandra is a build around powerhouse, Nissa is just goodstuff, the Flagship will be in standard somewhere and I suspect multiple somewheres, ceremonious Rejection has the most potential past limited, and the Gearhulks speak for themselves. They're the new Titan cycle and while not as busted they will see play in their respective colors. Maybe Combustible Gearhulk get's left out but not the others.

Combustible Gearhulk is part of UR Control or WR Boros big red. Not sure which yet. I'm still working on figuring out if Big Red works in kaladesh, but right now the part I'm stuck on is the stuff leading up to big stuff. The deck is not shaping up to look anything like Theros block big red because we don't have Chandra's Pheonix and the best 4 drop outside of Chandra, Torch of Defiance is looking to be Flame Lash, Fleetwheel Cruiser, or Akoum Firebird. Yes, that over costed pheonix from BFZ, and only because in that deck you actually do get to 6 mana and can recur it (possibly). The new dragon is just sort of bad since removal is going to be all over the place and it wont likely get any damage in. The five slot has Cataclysmic Gearhulk, Archangel Avacyn, or Wolf of Devil's Breach at the moment.

I had missed Impetuous Devils and Snare Thopter as well. Those look test worthy in Big Red. Fleetwheel Cruiser has been my favorite 4 drop so far but I do prefer GR to Mono Red right now. We'll see if that changes.
Revolutionary Rebuff
Control decks got a lot of tools with this set. Spell Queller is still going to be a premium card.

If you don't mind going into a second color, Mina and Denn, Wildborn or Arlinn Kord could work.
