So I think we're set up to have a quailty jund Walkers deck again. New Nissa is reminiscent of worldwaker, Ob similar to vraska, and chandra well one ability is somewhat similar. Flamecaller is ok and I think with oath of nissa a one of sorin could be justified.
Here is a list I've toyed with some but results have varied.
Why no Liliana? There's no way Arlinn is better than new Chandra in a control deck trying to trigger Kalitas. I think I would want the fourth Evolving Wilds over the fourth Marsh. I was testing a Live Fast/Die Young package, but Brutality might just be better; actually, I'm not sure how good the Duress effect actually will be in an artifact heavy meta.
Hmm valid points there. Liliana is because there's no real benefit in the deck and without a card like den Protector I'd hate to be self milling and reduce my spell count but maybe this is incorrect thinking.
I dunno maybe arlinn Kord isn't but I feel like chandra isn't as good as I first thought. The plus doesn't allow lands and it feels like the damage ability and the mana but, again maybe this is incorrect thinking.
As far as dealing with those particular cards I'm thinking some spells need to be swapped out for some Transgress the minds. Especially with the lack of a duress like spell.
With the mana I think you are right on there. The deck has struggled to hit red mana and trading a Blooming Marsh for an evolving Wilds would help alot.
An energy package could actually allow 1-2 Aether Hub, which would help with mana and untapped lands. I definitely killed a Worldbreaker last night with Die Young.
BW runs Lilianas to kill creatures, slow the game down, and threaten ultimates. She's legit in that regards. Chandra hasn't been spectacular so far because Nissa aggressively keeps her in check it seems, but I also don't think she is worse than Arlinn. She removes creatures, draws cards, and pressure planeswalkers, which all seem important in the format.
Maybe Transgress has to be main, but I don't love it. There has to be something that smashes creatures and artifacts a la Anguished Unmaking in BW.

One of these day I have to get myself organizized.
I think a big issue with arlinn and chandra is they both are kept in check by Gideon and Nissa and even Avacyn to an extent. I'm thinking maybe all together not to run them and run Ob, nissa, liliana, and big chandra. Big chandra is still great closes out games quick and is also a huge source of card avantage.
And not to come to much of topic I'm wondering how good gitro would be if.you use big chandra and the two man's loot style spell the discard two draw three. Discarding lands to it pretty much negates the disadvantages of it the same with Tormenting voice. Of course this could just be kinky and to cute lol. But honestly I think gitrog has alother of potential as even last format not alot of decks could handle him with the limited amount of hard removal.
I may want to brew some Gitrog. I'm also unsure what fitting Distended Mindbender into the deck would look like, but also am unsure if you can emerge off of Chandra's +1.
So our Jund list might just want new Nissa, but not new Chandra? Maybe...
Should that Murder just be an Unlicensed Disintegration for mana reasons and clues from Tracker/Declaration in Stone?
Also curious if vehicles as a type push out planeswalkers...
I think Lili is a must for any black planeswalker deck. I mean, heck, B/W control barely plays any creatures, and it's still probably the best card in the deck. Additionally, you do have recursion, Nissa can pull back any permanent.
New B/R removal spell is just better then murder. should probably be playing that instead.
I'll first say that while I am a huge fan of Superfriends strategies, they tend to be the most effective when you have an effective mass sweeper in your colors. Not only does Jund not really have and efficient one (unless you're running emurge creatures and Kozilek's Return) but in this coming meta Vehicles survive such removal and turn any topdeck creature that can pilot them into hasty threats.
Onto the actual deck. I love Chandra, Torch of Defiance, but in my testing she is best at or at the very least near the top of your curve. You want to play her and +1 for mana to play something 90% she comes down, so cheep red removal, or somewhat cheep creatures are a must. You also want cheaper spells in general so when you use her other +1 you have a better chance of choosing to cast the spell or deal some damage and not topdeck your sweet 5 mana walker when you're still at 4 lands. So yeah, she's better when you have a deck built around her. In this particular midrange-y friends build I think her predecessor Chandra, Flamecaller is actually better suited. All that said here's my quickly thrown together take on it.
I was fooling around with this, an energy subtheme. The energy elf might actually be better than Sylvan Advocate, start ramping out planeswalkers. The ol' Nissa, Worldwaker deck was at its best only because sometimes you could turn 3 her. I wish I could squeeze some Chandra Oaths into it in order to pressure opposing planeswalkers.
Edit: Deck has actually been supersweet, but having issues with Emrakul and Ulamog off of Aetherworks Marvel. Between Lili and Aetherworks, it's hard to deal with the eldrazi multiple times. Not sure what could help outside of playing Abzan for Sigarda.
I have been very unimpressed with new chandra in midrange as well. I would much rather play chandra flamecaller. whether chandra is better than arlinn is another question; in the dark I would stick with Arlinn. I'm not running either in my Jund list.

What are some ways of dealing with problematic permanents, like Decoction Module into Panharmonicon with Whirler Virtuoso? Or Aether Marvelworks to have a less janky suggestion?
