I am wondering if you think this deck (in some form) could hold its own at states. The logic is this: Aggro is a fair to poor match up depending on how fast the aggro really is. Control is a great match up esp if they are running removal like wrath because they tend to die in one turn if the combo goes off. So if it can beat a few aggro decks, and crush decks that are designed to beat aggro it may stand a fair chance.
In what universe? If you build a deck like that, and ever draw that hand, I will personally come to wherever you live, perform complicated acts of awestruck *********, then disembowel myself to escape the world that allowed something like to to occur and validate you.
well in one of my builds for a Wild Pair, you play Akroma as a morph making it a 2/2 and search for something that way with WP. But I gotta tell you, if you do use Akroma, use another creature with morph or Akroma is going to get targetted as a morph when it first hits.
turn 3 i play a morphed akroma. Wild Pair is already out through incredible acceloration. search for a 2/2. ignus or primal forcemage for example.
problem is though without something like momentary blink, that akroma is going to get kill as soon as it hits.
throwing in some fortune theifs will at least confuse them on game 2 of a best of 3 match.

Definitely not an aggro player.
