Keep in mind this is somewhat budget.
looks like it might be fun to play, its basically going for the end of turn relentless rat combo with quicken for creatures, brainspoil to transmute for the stone. pretty simple deck, i think the lands can be changed though as im sure there are more efficient lands (ie. deserts, man lands, etc.) that can go in here, was thinking about watchtower, but any other suggestions for the deck?

Instead of splashing for white, wouldn´t blue be better?
You can get more protection, like remand, and some card drawing, like Compulsive research and foresee
the main problem with htis deck is that extirpate kills it completely.
well the idea is that none of your rats will ever hit the graveyard unless they can sudden death/extripate in 1 shot, which can and sometimes does happen, but this is basically a fun deck to play, not planning on going to regionals or anything with it. i just have the rats so i thought id make the deck.

well the main reason i went with white was because of qfc, its so perfect for the alpha strike and totally messes with ***/damnation. but i do like the idea of putting blue in here, remand seems really good since i do sit around forever and do nothing for like 3 turns.
ill try to repost some newer ideas

You know... The main problem with Dragonstorm was that Extirpate killed it completely. All those people playing it must have been RETARDS. Discard + Extirpate would have owned the deck completely... But that's no reason not to play it. It's not a card that's impossible to play around, and it doesn't see a whole lot of play in the first place. And in the decks that still run it, it's not a huge, huge deal. That's not actually a problem you're worrying about before board...
Other than that, I don't have a whole lot to contribute; my experience with decks like this are more than fairly limited. One thing I can say, though, from a quick glance is that you probably should run up a higher land count, and more mana acceleration; you likely don't need to play tricks like Thrumming Stone, especially without sidekick Seething Song. If you play enough Rats, you should probably be able to win the game on power and cost efficiency alone; just bring the 4/4 for three beats and you should be fine. You'll probably have some serious problems with Wrath effects though, but that's something you signed up for when you wanted to play a deck around old Relentess. The previously suggested Phyrexian Totem seems to be a great way to defend against that; I doubt any player would like to deal with a Phyrexian Negator immediately after Wrath; you'll even be able to give a rattlensnake symbol; it seems like a great way to throw off threat signals.
While netdecking and testing VileHorror i thought about Biorhythm. Sure its really expensive, off-color and crappy but still you're always the one with creatures while playing VH. That made me think.
in the rb build i would run beacon of distruction because if extirpate hits, ur down to 40 cards- your draws, with a stone in play youll hit another one about half the time on the ripple. with 2 stones you can pretty much kill off the ripples.
maybe have some powerful creatures in your sideboard so in case you do face an extripate, then you only have 40 cards instead of 60 so you have much better odds of drawing your strong creatures.
If you're on a budget I don't suggest making a Rats deck. They cost like at least 2 bucks each so you'll drop a bundle getting the core of the deck. Plus it's not competitive at all so I don't think it's really worth it =/
But then again, if you really want to see the look on your opponent's face when he gets beaten by a Rats/Thrumming Stone combo then go for it... lol

HE ALREADY HAS THE RATS. that's why he's building it.
If you have 13 rats in a library of 45 cards, the odds of you hitting one with thrumming stone is 75.9%. (I assume you hold one in your hand when you play your other one as it is statistically the most likely option). 11 rats in the same instance, and you're looking at 68.9%. You could safely drop the number of rats in the deck just a bit more, to achieve maybe a more playable deck. Presenting for your approval:
Scry is a very powerful tool in this deck. You've got a counter suite, and if you're playing aggro you forgo that for the turn 2 signet, turn 3 foresee, turn 4 stone and turn 5 rats FTW.
Does this deck seem any better?

The only problem i see with scry is that the card goes on the bottom or the top of your deck, assuming u dont want to draw an overly large amount of rats, the other option is tucking rats away. This seems detrimental to the deck itself, i think id rather see more card draw than scry types spells to keep the randomization in the deck
the signet seems like a good idea, xcept most aggro decks have a 2 drop that usually screws your lifestyle, in which case id rather just leave my lands untapped for remand or maybe even rune snag. also, i hate delay, ill take a hard counter over a soft one any day of the weak, aside from remand of course.
my version did go gainst a wild pair deck and won a 2 out of 3
dont know if that counts for anything

Next time you post popular opinions, please word them in such a way that they're not infractable. Someone may be widely thought to be the dullest tool in the shed, but you can't publicly call him that, which as a mod I can neither confirm nor deny that I fervently believe he's a tool.
Ive been playing around with a GB version of RippleRats online recently.
Land search is good times as it counts both as acceleration and deck thining to increase your chances of flipping the rats when you go off.
I would really love to add some sort of haste/instant cast ( i did have scouts warning in it originally as i think its a very flexible card) to this and adding another colour wouldn't be too much of a stretch with all the search.
This proved faster than the red/black basal thrull/rite of flame route as you dont have much room for real card draw to set up your hand
Lotus Bloom could bea consideration too
i dont know about this deck but i must say.....BLOODBOND MARCH looks hilarious
i literally forgot that card existed, but it is synergistic with the rats
i like the play....

I think you can go down to 18 rats, and show us what you come up with for a UB version.
Wojek Siren > Marhsalling Cry
I would play as much discard as you can. In here you should have Castigate and Augur, but if you go UB, play Augur still and maybe Stupor.
