Tested Kartsen's list myself I to am considering taking the detrivores out. I haven't really made much of a use with them in a meta with Mono green and Dralnu running around.
I went 3-1-2 with it. My only losses came to LD. ... Yeah.
So, sacred grounds out of the side and it shores up nicely (easily could have won if i had the grounds)
Signets are usually enough to combat the LD, but, uh, he had Shattering Spree SB'ed...
Go figure that. :/ I won one game where i went turn 3 angel on the play, backed up with 2 helix's and demonfire. (Yeah, i raced and won lmao)
Game 2: I get the early angel be ut he has the wildfire. I recover, get another angel, he has another wildfire (3 signets out) i top deck a land, and drop another angel... he has another... wildfire... what ev
Game 3: I go early hussar angel action, with triple signet out, he uh, shattering sprees them, and wildfires my 4 land next turn... GG....
In top 4, i had nothing he took me 2-0.
Anyways, he played well and deserved to get to finals.
I still like this deck a lot though, i think its a big contender.

Thoughts: After recently playing this and getting 3rd at our local MSS, I have not been having awsome sucsess with Teferi. About Disenchant, I really did not mind having 3 SBed, and the times it came down it usually was worth it. I agree on your point of wanting a 5th Flagstones for BoomtodaBust but I think something like Ghost Quarter may be better. Thoughts?
Tourney report:
3-0-1 into First place with my list a page or two back except Teferi's Moat in place of Shadow of Doubt (Dragonstorm has died off here).
Match 1: Green Haste
Easy matchup (at least his list). Early Timbermares and Drakes take me down a little game 1, but oodles of removal followed by Lightning Angels takes it for me. Game two he gets land screwed and I drop turn 5 Moat naming Green. GG.
2-0(1-0)
Match 2: B/W/G Aggro
Weird deck, ran Watchwolf and Hierarch along side Trespasser il-Vec, Golgari Guildmage and Debtor's Knell. Early Watchwolves and Hierarchs rush me game one and I stabilize late, but his Debtors' Knell returns Hierarchs and wolves and eventually my Hellkite (after I was forced to wrath). I hold off in a game I should have lost much earlier, needing any of 6 burn spells in my deck to win at the end, and eventually die to my own Dragon. Game 2 I burn his early creautres, swing with Angels, and kill him with a Hellkite. Game 3 he gets stuck on land and the same occurs.
2-1(2-0)
Match 3: U/G Aggro/Control
This deck scares me, no matter what I'm playing. The games are a bit hazy now, but game one I got a wrath through at a pivotal moment and Akroma dropped in to finish the job. Game 2 he was stuck on mana early, and I had an opening hand with 3 Wraths and an Odds // Ends. Yep.
2-0(3-0)
Match 4: B/W/G Sliver Control
This was a list very similar to B/W Fader that ran Darkheart and Necrotic Slivers for aggro and control elements. The slivers were much more effective than I would have thought. Game one was epic, with me making the pivotal player error that would have otherwise won me the game about halfway through. He's sacced 4 slivers for lifegain and 2 10-point Demonfires have brought him within range, with an Arena on his side of the table. Two(!!) Debtors' Knell on his side threaten to keep returning slivers to sac and eventually my Akroma to seal the deal. At one life, he would have been forced to sac his darkheart before arena resolves, and I had a helix in hand, but I played it on my turn instead of in response to his sacrifice on his upkeep. Dumb. 6 or 7 turns later (I never drew either of the Helixes or either of the Demonfires still in my deck) he keeps recurring my Hellkite to eventually kill me. Game 2 starts with 5 minutes left, and I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with 2nd overall or worse after the match. 3 Early Angels and an unmorphed Akroma followed by Disintegrate end that game with 3 turns left. Why cant it always do that?????
1-1(3-0-1)
Still being very successful with this list here, and am very reluctant to change much at all. I've won the last 3 tourneys I've participated in and never seem to be totally out of any match. Most games I lost could have been won if I had drawn any of 8 or more cards in the deck at the last turn.

I have to agree with Cereal. As awsome as it is to have Teferi against control , it seems almost as out of place as BoomtodaBust. I agree that they can both randomly steal the game, but maybe something more consisitant?
Thoughts?
Also: Dobber, I would reccommend trying Karsens new list. As shaky as it is now, it seems like it is worth a try.
I agree with Remand. Unless you have several and extra mana to keep stalling them, its been pretty usless, almost always the first thing I SB out. Persecute is a game breaker, and maybe something like Ignorant Bliss or Bottled Cloister would be good for your SB. In my meta however, that is near non-exisant. In the one Mono-B rack deck I played I just made sure had Couries and they won it for me.
-Dragonstorm: I have never used Pilfer against D-storm. It seems like a bad way to get em out of cards. I have always used the same thing: Grand Arbiter Agusting IV. He makes most of their rits usless, and makes them have to get to even higher mana cost.
Options for removing Remand? I think I might want the 4th Helix. Then, I am thinking of adding 2 Fetters MD.

I think you could replace stuff in the Dstorm matchup especially with Tirckbind. Strictly better than Shadow, and it can't be countered. It stops storm, replicate, and entertainingly enough, the bounce effect of a boilerworks lategame. I have never played this deck, but Trickbind seems an easy choice, perhaps even MD. They might as well replace Teferi, for the amount of good he does you, and then you have way less mana issue and all you're left with is the remand problem. Think twice confers a semi-similar advantage, but I think there is another option, at least against aggro, and its name is Vexing Sphinx. When you play it, it's a 4/4 blocker. the next turn, it's a 4/4 Beater. Sure you have to pitch one card that turn, but the third turn, you sac to upkeep to draw 2. If remand stalls for one turn, this will stall for 2 a good portion of the time and for only one blue more, plus it is neutral card advantage, just like remand. Like I said, I don't play the deck, but those are my ideas.
i jsut tested againstproject x, dam now i know how there r 2x undefeated projectx at the end of day one. the matchup for project x agaisnt r/w/u is so good, i cant beat it with my version of angelfire(the one with 4 bust/boom). i think i might maindeck sulfur elementals or at least have 4x in board now they completely shut off project x's saffi combo and help raise the attck of my lighting to a 4/3 which can now fight their elphants+ghost council. i think im gonna cut the court hussars. those r only really good against aggro. i guess they help me dig 3 cards into my deck, but right now project x might gain popularity and this deck might be screwed
and if u want to know wat happened during testing, this is usually wat happens
i go wrath and he goes chord for saffi and saves like a confidant adn rebuilds his hand. the deck also run a few 4/4s which r a pain in the ass for my lighting angels. they can combo as early as turn 4 thrugh search and opening hand. LD does minuim to stop their combo since u can still search it out with chord and wall of roots+bop+elves of deep shadow and all tier creatures can still help actiate chord even after a bust/boom
saffi is white if they cant combo for inifinte anything because they cant sac saffi since it would die to state-based effect
its working out great, against dralnu, im putting more pressure on him going first almsot guranntes like 9 damamge with a sufler and boros matchup becomes easier too
sulfer elemental also helps take care of problematic creatures like calciderm which was hard for us to handle now, sulfur+lighting angel=1 really dead calciderm
Anyone Main Decked the Sulfur Elementals yet? I think it's a great idea since they provide early game pressure, play around the decks to worry about (Dralnu, Boros, any other control), and leave you open to remand if necessary. I'm currently playing Wada's build with the follwing changes mostly due to metagame:
I dont believe the ld package is needed except for detrivore. it shoudl be a one of in MD and a ful 3 in the SB IMO. Wrath of god should be a 4 of, but it does depend on ur meta. IDk about sulfur, its probably needed at least X2. Also body double is really good here.
Type in [card*][/card*] minus the *'s. Funtimes: I have been finding the exact opposite when testing. Boom can randomly win games on turn 2 with Flagstones, and Bust is awsome right after establishing board control. Sulfur does work well with Lightning angel and some other things, but I have been liking Courties and other non-creature spells. *** does not need to be 4 of'ed, especially when your trying to fit more creature MD. Body Double seems to be mediocre, mostly because we have Resurrection. Have you found the need for that role?
Sorry to kinda shoot down your ideas just tryin to put in my 2c.
To xbankx, a lightning angel plus sulfer elemental shouldn't be blocking a calciderm anyways, instead it should be beating their face for 4 vigilance a turn.
What does everyone think about azorius guildmage. It can stall akromas and body doubles, and against dralnu, its a bear that they need to take care of, or it will basically allow you to negate teferi being on the board, or skeletal vamp from doing anything useful. i think its a very underrated card, and with the three color deck, its very versitile in the sense that you can play it 99% of the time when you have 2 lands out.

Just wondering how effective the LD will be, since I expect a lot of LD in my metagame, and because of that, a lot of Sacred Grounds in sideboard...
Question: How is the Teferi's Moat in sideboard performing?
Thinking of bringing it to MSS and expect that.
