yay, I always wanted my 38 land deck to work, nice variation you've got there, if you do keep LFtL then quicksand is awsome, unlike desert it prevents damage, ok, you already have it but maybe drop a desert for another.
copy enchantment might be worthwhile too.
What is your win condition anyways? I"m having trouble understanding how the deck works. Is it Dark Depths mainly? Not even a single copy of Stormbind to work with LftL?
I disagree with the opinion on the Seer. You've got two different cards which allow you to play multiple lands.

Why did I ever think a signature in comic sans was a good idea?
For aggros i have ***, deserts, quicksands, mouth of ronom, kher keep and vitu-ghazi. I killed everytime with vitu-ghazi tokens and dark depths that i get with into the north and tolaria west. I dont think that 4 tolaria wests are good because i dont have too much blue mana.
If anyone knows why G0-DRAW was banned I would love it if they would PM me. That guy was pure entertainment 100% of the time. Plus he never publicly responded to his Contraptions "Proof" that never panned out.
Well, I saw the original thread for a deck like this (and I actually subscribed to it on the spot... I want to build this deck!) One thing it had that this deck doesn't is Trade Routes. And if you are going to run it (or even if you don't), you should be running Muddle the Mixture. Most of your non-lands are 2cc, so this should get them to your hand faster. As I start to create my own decklist, I'll post it here and see what other ideas I've come up with.

They love and hate to see me walk through the door. I'm the man with the box, one to carry all his Standard cards with him. I've got the commons and uncommons they need. But I've also got my decks. If I walk into FNM, I came to play. And they never know what I'm gonna pull out of my hat next. I may lose more than I win, but it just might be THIS deck that has all the answers that they don't have answers for. They fear the unknown. They fear me. And they never see me coming!
Trade Routes is definitely worth the inclusion, I personally also like Peace of Mind which when combined with TR and LftL gives you a nice massive lifegain or card draw engine.
Trade Routes is the best card to grace blue in terms of land destruction and urza tron. I actually made a deck featuring it along with the Tron and Lighting Storm as the kill card. It's in my sig for reference.

i really like the i idea of this deck it seems like it would pwn in a control heavy meta but how would this deck do again aggro, and what are the core pieces to this what makes it work. i know there a very power odder deck that run the same thing but they have walking land that doesn't cost a ton.
Are you sure this deck will reliably curve out...?
Haha all kidding aside, ever thought about putting in a couple Leafdrake Roosts? Cheaper than Vitu-Ghazi, and gets you a 2/2 flier!
Bad. It can get countered, it gives them a reason to board in enchantment kill or whatever, and while ridiculous if you can ever get it active, just about every deck has a way to kill enchantments. Don't make their dead cards...not...dead. I suck at words, by the way.
Remember that with Lorwyn, they were going to break a fundamental rule. I think with the clues we got into FS and this little tidbit from TCG, it will be Planeswalkers. Also gatherer now references the planeswalker type. Why do it so early. If it isn't Planeswalkers, I will submit a video of me tearing up one of my moxes
I can understand about being countered, but so can any card (besides these lands! woo!)
As for the enchantment hate, if you're worried about them boarding it in, you could just board it out G2 for something that makes those Grips or what have you dead cards?
Also, I know it seems kind of odd, but what do you think of running black instead of blue to utilize Null Profusion? Once it gets online, with your various drawsources, you could pump out almost your entire deck in a few turns!

Vinelasher is actually not a bad idea. As for Null Profusion, however... with our lack of many win conditions we need a little time to swoop in for the kill. Drawing out our deck too soon would be a bad thing.

Null Profusion sounds all right, except for the maximum hand size restriction. You're still only going to be able to play two lands a turn, though, once you run out of Summer Blooms.
i run one nightmare and two urborg as a second win con. as well as riders. and something i use that you guy don't use new benalia. it helps with weeding out dead cards against control.
Oo, just thought of this: If you get Null Profusion up and running, to avoid decking yourself and get yourself a mighty big beatstick in the process, you can play Jotun Grunt! A couple added benefits of this are that you can totally screw over your opponent's 'yard if you need to, and after a few turns, you'll pretty much be stacking your library!
I made a land deck a long time ago when the 42land.dec thread was busy in the WOTC forums. I rebuilt it last friday evening after trading for the cards I needed and created this W/G/b deck which I think is much stronger than my old W/G/R/u build.
Baru is the main win condition in this deck, with backup from heirarch, dryad arbor, and vitu-ghazi. The key synergy in the deck is Baru with grim harvest which allows you to keep him up, or recur copies of him that are in your graveyard to make massive wurms. The synergy between ghost-quarter and flagstones lets you to play upwards of four forests a turn to overrun your opponent.
i think that this thread would reap a greatly from studying this thread. with that out of way there maybe a some ideas or opinions of mine.
first it would truly be great if we could if a ghostly prison effect. this would give the upper hand in any aggro to mid-ranger match-up keeping the beats off for three or four turns giving us time to get a win con. or wrath effect.
this just off the top of my head if we already have land advantage why not make it greater withstone rain or icefall. crucible of worlds is it an auto or do we need it. i think that it would word great with ghost quarter and some LD.
it seems like it wouldn't be a bad idea if it is shut me down now.
