I need deck ideas!
My dredge returns (the original) died with with the addition of PC and the new decks aren't the super-Uber, beat everything, aggro/control/combo decks the original was, it could beat EVERYTHING 2/3 and almost always won game 1 (even vs. myrtyrtron)
Dragonstorm has lost its apeal and doesn't win as often as it used to
My latest (second) tourney worthy deck djinnpact (both white and blue) isn't as good as it seems
Red Ultra-aggro is about the same power level as djinnpact, tourney worthy but weak
Tarroxstorm doesn't work
Telling Time (does not contain said card) aka. time counter control aggro doesn't always work
Jhoira doesn't seem worth playing
tarrox/korlash tutor is too slow
akroma's memorial/arcuum dagson sucks leyline of the meek with final judgement (umm... the convoke one that doesn't kill tokens...) isn't that great
I'd reccomend a return to simplicity. Aggro is a great stress relef and allows you to think about the game in a different way than Synergy this and Combo that. (Sulfur Elemental + Boros Swiftblade is pretty amazing though) If you've got the Duals for it, try Zoo, or possibly even Gruul. If you're strapped for cash go with MGA with Scryb/Force and Blanchwoods. Try to stay away from anything too complicated for a while (I'm looking at you, Narcolepsy and Project X), and maybe try a pure control build after that.
Trust me, when all you've got to worry about is if you topdeck the burn spell ftw, it frees you up to think about other things, like what yor opponent is playing, how you could make it better, and what could streamline your own deck.
umm... trust me, you would never ever EVER want to play one of my non-synergistic agro decks, I tried playing white weenie and it ended up as a flash/convoke deck with angel of salvation and dust drinker (the 6/6 for 4 that returns 3 creatures to your hand)
In that case.... there is only one solution to suck a problem, and i hesitate to do it myself... NETDECK! Just rip a list, build it, and smash face with it.
urgh, it's not that my decks suck, it's just I need a new, non agrro deck to make!
If I'm going to play a deck it'll be my own or one that was in need of work when I found it!
I'm just going to go back to cantrip.dec, that was fun! Niv-Mizzet for the win!
Take a look at my mad satanic sligh list. It's an aggro control deck that performs well against every virtually every deck except dragonstorm. It just can't outrace dragonstorm. But it does have shadow of doubt in sideboard for when your dragonstorm opponent decides to try a dragonstorm without gigadrowsing the turn before.
If you're looking for synergy I would definitely look at a gargadon deck. By adding gargadons to my two b/r decks there are soo many more combat tricks I can pull.
Make the T2 Gro deck on these forums [or a variation of it]: it's ... really fun and kind of aggro-controll-y.

I was about to advocate the T2 Gro 2k7 build as well, but Sam here beat me to it. I find it ridiculously fun to play; sometimes I can just sit there and goldfish and still be amused. If you like burning through your deck at a ridiculous speed, try it out.

so as you can see I've tried it all, any ideas?
or do you think I should try cantrip.dec again?

I WANT YOUR DEATH BARONS! Message me if you want to get rid of them!
Try to stuff as many replacement cards as possible into one deck along with some win conditions and see what happens. Try to fit all of these cards into one deck:
4x Chromatic Star
4x Terrarion
4x Mishra's Bauble
4x Remand
4x Think Twice
4x Street Wraith
4x Judge Unworthy
4x Flagstones of Trokair
4x Terramorphic Expanse
There's your idea now make it work.
I'll check out gro aswell, that could be good
EDIT: can I drop judge unworthy? with the other 32 cards on that list I don't have space for much and can't realy make judge work
I actually posted that as a bit of a joke... Hence taking up 36 slots with just cantrip like spells. In reality I think you should capitalize off of these cards:
19//20 cantrips//Draw
3//4x Compulsive Research // Careful Consideration
4x Think Twice
4x Remand
4x Judge Unworthy
4x Street Wraith
8 Land
4x Terramorphic Expanse
4x Flagstones of Trokair
Then finish the rest of the deck with a U//W Grand Arbitor build utilizing wrath and windreaver.
