Man, nothing makes me want to actually invest in a Standard deck more than a viable Izzet aggro (tempo?) deck.
...well, I'll see if I can put together a budget version of the deck, anyway. Like hell I'm buying another 3 Jaces.
Eh, while the deck could certainly be powered by Jaces, I think it's viable enough without them, and Jace does slow the deck down to some degree. You still have access to Cruise, which is absurdly good, and some pretty potent spells.
I think jace is a fine sb card for the deck but I wouldn't run it in the main. If you want to be getting the most use out of jace you want to go three colors for more powerful spells. The two drops are very important for early aggression.

Agreed, I'd rather be grixis and act more like the modern grixis deck (adding things like command, tasigur, cut etc..) if I played jaces in the deck.
I think jace should just be elusive spellfist in these straight u/r decks, either that or something like jeskai elder, but spellfist doesn't die to slash or early impulses. It's very close to stormchaser number 5-8.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
I expected it to see play in Gr ramp actually until more cards got spoiled and I saw all the new toys the deck already was getting. Unfortunately it loses out to world breaker for most of the matchups you would want chandra. Still probably a player in mardu and other decks with strong removal packages.

Basically Reflector Mage, Goblin Dark Dwellers, crappy version of RU Prowess, and no Eldrazi so far.
First week and Rally decks still look the best versus a non-control field. That being said I think the UR deck can easily be reworked for a better list.

Very surprised no Mardu ...
I like using Elusive Spellfist instead of Jace in RU Prowess. It's better at blocking when playing defensive, and it's amazing for punching through when your opponent clogs up the ground.

I saw Brad Nelson fold to double Goblin Dark Dwellers too. Mardu green just has much better late game than anyone else. How would you like to play 8 Crackling Doom and 8 Kolaghan's Command?

Been testing it, it's a real deck and a blast to play.

Obviously, it's good on an open board.
shoot me now.
I'd splash white for Seeker of The Way instead of Jace. Also Defiant Strike, [Valorous Stance[/c], Reflector Mage, Mantis Rider and Ojutai's Command. Defiant Strike's +1/0 ability is relevant as well since the other 1 mana cantrips only trigger prowess, without adding any more damage.
The life gain from Seeker would be pretty important, especially against other aggro decks.

isnt the only 9-0 deck eldrazi ramp?
EDIT: I have got to see a deck list for that, I own the vast majority of the cards he had so I'm really hyped to play it.
Modern - GB Elves, UW Ojutai Control
Legacy - BWG Junk Stoneblade
Gay and Proud
#MakeAmericaGreatAgain
EDH - Obzedat, Ghost Council of VALUETOWN BW
