It's funny to look back at this thread now that the meta is dominated by ramp decks.
So much for "The Death of Elvish Mystic" lol.
This Meta isn't dominated by Ramp decks they are barley competitive, RG Eldrazi is ok. Jeskai, Abzan, Megamorph and Atarka red is Dominating the format not ramp. See The Unwritten is a no show.

Yeah 3 weeks ago maybe. Have you been playing in the past couple weeks? It's Ulamog for days out there, man.
I'd still say it is a fairly minimal % of the meta. That isn't to take away from the strategy, but I'd hardly call it dominating. The numbers (at this time) don't align with that statement.

I can't speak much to the overall MTGO meta, but looking at the data from mtgtop8.com, ramp lists constitute roughly 5-6% of the top 8 meta game; at SCG Philadelphia, it constitutes only 3 lists in the top 32, and 10 total in day 2 of the event. Similarily, GP Indianapolis only put 3 lists in the top 32.
Compare that with Abzan or Jeskai, or even Atarka Red and G/W which are a bit, and it's down-right abysmal representation. Now it could be that a lot of people are trying it on MTGO, which is possible as it's a relatively cheap deck compared to other options, but it's not putting up consistent numbers or results.
And it's not going to change much either; I've been playing the deck since day 1 of the format, and it just can't beat a good draw from Abzan or G/W much of the time. They get moving too quickly and beat down too hard. It also doesn't have much counterplay against Atarka red, and pretty much is hoping they don't have the turn 4 juke much of the time. Jeskai is a fair match-up and generally depends on how many Mantis Riders they have and how early that is.
To be honest, the deck has an uphill battle through a good portion of the field, and it's good match-ups (True midrange without significant early pressure and control) aren't particularly heavily present in the field currently.

Which don't suffer from summoning sickness. But which also tend to ETBT, at least in recent years.
Just can't win for losing.
There are still no elvish mystic effects though.
What ramp decks ever dominated this standard meta? Eldrazi ramp did kind of ok for awhile but I wouldn't call it dominant.
