So, I've been testing a colorless deck for Origins Standard. Being an avid Modern player, it takes quite a deck to get me to want to play Standard for any amount of time. This deck not only does that but makes me giggle with glee. The deck is not just a gimmick, but actually really sweet, and I've been winning most of my matches.
Having all your lands be able to do something else is really helpful. Ghostfire Blade and Ugin's Construct have been over-performing so far. The only card that doesn't feel "great" is Bonded Construct but I haven't been able to play a game with the deck since I added Ornithopter. The deck is very synergistic and in addition to all the cards working well together, you get a bunch of random bonuses from your cards in addition to them playing their roles (i.e. Phyrexian Revoker, Keeper of the Lens, and Runed Servitor).
Also I've played a few games with Springleaf Drum, and it is terrible, as it just ends up disrupting our curve.
I'm going to have to agree here. I know you want to play MUD like a traditional (literally colorless) deck, but I would consider going into blue for just a little more power:
There's also a draw spell specific to artifacts in blue now that acts like an instant speed divination, though I think it's too slow if we stay aggro. The aggro deck seems powerful, but I'm not convinced that keeper of the lens and bonded construct are fast enough 1-drops to keep pressure on. I do like Ensoul artifact for a bigger threat (and everyone loves it with citadel) though. The Network gives us some long game if it sticks around as well. Blue also has the option, as mentioned by the last poster, to power out some higher-cost artifacts (think scuttling doom engine and soul of new phyrexia, but we don't need to brew that here...)
Alternatively, going into red gives you a few sweet additions too...
This version gives a lot more reach, more evasion, and more interaction with our opponent. The major downside is that in order to get the thopter creators in the deck we had to give up a little bit of the early pressure.
The only thing either of these decks really gives up is Ugin's Construct, which you did say was good, but I wonder if it's truly powerful enough to keep you in colorless when the colored versions have so much more versatility.
The Fun thing is, Springleaf Drum is awesome in the version with blue. I've managed to consistently cast Illusory Angel on turn 2 thanks to it, it really helps having an extra mana for impromptu defense with a stubborn denial. Having it around as an Ensoul Artifact target's never been unwelcome either.
Main problem is that the deck is a nonbo with Ugin's Construct.
So you give up the spell lands and our "Siege Rhino" (AKA Ugin's Construct) for some 3 drop and 4 drop token makers? I'm not a huge fan... But I did consider splashing red for Thopter Engineer and Ghirapur Æther Grid because haste seems great and I like the whole pseudo Opposition thing the Grid has got going on... It would be a nine land splash however with three of each however.
The deck as I play it is actually much more consistent as mono-blue, without any additions from origins, if I add something, it'll probably be Day's Undoing.
But trust me, the deck can certainly race Siege Rhino when built correctly, something like this:
Of course, by this point it's a huge deviation from your vision. Mono-brown has still its merits, as being impervious to Ugin and Ultimate Price, I'd still consider Ornithopte there, if only because it helps attack earlier with Bonded Servitor and gives evasive beats with Ghostfire Blade. Hewed-Stone Guardians would also become a considerable addition at that point, as it makes it earlier to cast on turn 3.

Tell me what you think below!
I'm going to be testing a blue-based build of this type of deck for those reasons. Also, I think playing Juggernaut in this deck might be interesting.
4x Keeper of the Lens
3x Runed Servitor
3x Bonded Construct
3x Phyrexian Revoker
4x Chief of the Foundry
4x Ramroller
4x Whirler Rogue
3x Thopter Spy Network
4x Ensoul Artifact
4x Darksteel Citadel
2x Foundry of the Consuls
2x Tomb of the Spirit Dragon
12x Island
