I've been playing and tweaking this build for about 3 weeks. I usually play Wed. leagues (15-30 people) and FNMs (20-40 people). I got the idea from the old RG Bees but I wanted to play Command over Tactics. Any feedback is acceptable.
I haven't played against much control. My meta is GW, Abzan, mono Red, RG, Mardu, etc. The plan is usually to Roast my Nest and win with Bees/Dragons. I used to have Polukranos, World Eater and Bow of Nylea but switched out for the Lions. Also had Dragonlord Atarka but switched to Queen. Not sure which would be better. At this moment, I only have 3 Rabblemaster, 2 Regent, and 3 Command.
Some of the sweet synergies:
Hornet Nest + Roast
Hornet Nest + Dromoka's Command (fight)
Hornet Nest + Anger of the Gods (small wipe and bees)
Goblin Rabblemaster + Iroas
attacking creature + Iroas + Dromoka's Command (fight)
8 mana dorks possible T3 Stormbreath Dragon (done multiple times already)
Questions:
-24 or 25 lands? If I cut a land, I could add another Regent or Command.
-Queen or Atarka? I could play either one, or cut for one of the above mentioned cards.
-SB cards. I would like a better answer for Mastery of the Unseen. Any other SB cards for Naya I should think about?
Any other suggestions? Much appreciated, thanks for your time....
I actually really like this. Have you tested it yet?
25 lands if you are using haven. Wanna ensure t2 drop. Atarka is cool but queen bee is better. Dromoka's is a great answer for mastery. You shouldn't have an issue there. Your sideboard looks great. I wouldn't change much. More removal would be cool tho. lightning strike maybe
Only thing i dont like is the Deathmist Raptor. It is fun, but generally underwhelming in this deck. Another 3 drop at this cost would be good. What is the card that lets you draw a card if you have a creature 4+ power? Maybe shaman of the great hunt
I was actualy going to suggest trying out Shaman of the Great Hunt especially if you plan to roast your nests and create a bunch of 1/1 evasive tokens, as the shaman will drop a ton of counters on them if he goes unanswered.
Another backup option for combating mastery of the unseen is Shaman of Forgotten Ways, his ferocious will only every be affordable in a grindy matchup, but he can knock a 700+ crazy life total down to 0 of you stack his ability with a board wipe and have some way to keep some creatures on your side of the board (either by having a monstrous fleecemain lion, using the nest to make tokens, or Ioras's damage prevention to keep your creatures alive)
The only other suggestion I have is maybe trying out Arcbond. It plus all the deathtouch you have going on can take care of just about everything that can get in your way in the late game (though in most other circumstances I do think anger of the gods is still better since it exiles creatures like deathmist raptor).
I've been messing around with alot of different naya builds, but this one has by far been the most fun for me. I forgot just how much fun Xenagoes, God of Revels can be.
A_E_I_Own_U - I have been playing this for about 4 weeks now, did well at FNM and bad at GPT. Dromoka's Command won't always hit if they have another enchantment (aka Courser of Kruphix). I added another Glare of Heresy in SB taking out Mastery. The Den Protector/Deathmist Raptor feels like another deck, something like you've built.
DarklingScribe - I previously had a singleton Shaman of the Great Hunt, worked great when I saw it. It's even better with Iroas out. Arcbond is a good suggestion, I got overwhelmed by my opponent's bees during GPT and couldn't keep up.
HumbleKami - At the time, I only had 2 Thunderbreak Regent. I used my FNM winnings to get another one and Dromoka's Command. I hope to get a fourth soon.
brandonspradlin80 - I am going to get another Dragonlord Atarka so I can try out Naya Dragons.
I can't tell you how many times when I play Iroas people pick it up to read it, and get blown out because either A)They don't have enough to double block or B)Block appropriately expecting one of my guys to die.
It's not bad, just what happens on multiple occassions. If both are out, they will sac Courser to keep Mastery. Though I'm usually fighting to get rid of something, not make bigger.
fight first. it is your choice of ordering i do believe.
The ordering is done based on how they are ordered on the card, so if you chose to make them sac an enchantment and to fight, and the only cards they had were Courser and Mastery, they could sac the Courser first and leave you with nothing to fight. You'd only really need to be concerned about that if they had that fairly specific board state set up though.

Well thanks for explaining that! =)
On another note....
I found out I cannot beat Maradu. They get me every time even when I pull silly good hands.

Well what are your specific issues with the match up? Are they burning all your creatures when you land them? Are they just racing you with dragons?
They are disrupting any early progress with removal and/or seeker to offset life. Then once they get to dragons, its game over for the most part. He really is a nuisance imo. Kill him, in this deck and CoCo.
Interesting. Your biggest issue is probably that you need removal for their dragons and/or dragons of your own. I'd say your options are to either go bigger with Dragonlord Atarka, Dragonlord Dromoka and ramp, or you need to be running plenty of sideboard cards to deal with their dragons like Plummet, more Valorous Stance, Radiant Purge etc. because having them disrupt your early game shouldn't be the worst thing in the world with the full 4 Den Protectors to get your stuff back and all the Deathmist Raptors that also come back, and most of your early drops are still quite good late, especially the Fleecemane Lion when you've got mana to make it monstrous as well, and Stormbreath Dragon is obviously going to be very good when you can monstrous him.
What's in your SB? Sometimes it can be hard. I've had to fight thru Soulfire Grand Master / Seeker of the Way, thus they gain a lot of life. They also have access to hand disruption, still hurts even though with your deck you can get back later. Windstorm is another card for flyers, works well against bees too. If you need a board reset try End Hostilities. Glare of Heresy is good if they play those early white drops and if they also got Elspeth.
It isn't so much that I can't handle the dragons, its that I can't handle the dragons w/ them still at 20-25 life from the life gain...no creatures on my board and removal having to be wasted to deal with small things that my creatures can't kill.
