Reid Duke had an article the other day about Wildcall pointing out some very important things about the card. He says it is one of those cards that is good no matter when you get it. Early game it is just a 2/2 creature for 2, Late Game it is a ginormous monster. I read the article and was enthused.
Now he was going to go G/R focusing on creatures with evasion, and high power, and being able to close games out with Crater's Claw is a big game. I was going to go that route and had a list typed up until I saw Temur Sabertooth.
I saw this card and I lit up. The reason why I lit up is because it does one thing I want very badly. Being able to return creatures to my hand, whenever I want to, not as a condition of casting a card.
Why is that important to me. Well being able to Buy back creatures that I would love to use there abilities again. Creatures like Polukranos, World Eater, Genesis Hydra, and Hornet Queen are absolutely insane with Sabertooth. Being able to Monstrous Pookie, then bounce it to my hand and use his ability again.
Also lets talk about Wildcall again and the manifest mechanic. What happens when I manifest a non creature card lets say like a Planeswalker or another Wildcall. Well I have no way to un morph them. Being able to bounce them into my hand is a Pseudo form of card draw.
The deck does a few things very well.
One Generating a butt ton of mana to be able to better utilize my X spells. I want big Wildcalls and big Genesis Hydra. Big Fatties are my forte and I want to abuse them. lso it allows me to black Spot removal and mass removal very well. Temur Sabertooth is going to be the best card in this deck. He is going to allow me to block more aggressively and also attack more aggressively. with 6 mana up being able to swing with a big creature, bounce him them cast him again gives me pseudo vigilance. Whisperwood Elemental is going to play a huge role as well, as mass removal insurance.

Yea, those are MTG Bars. What can I say, I am a dork
Courser is not aggressive enough. In every mono green devotion deck I have run, I never was happy with courser. Destructor demon has flying and when you wildcall into dragon you have the potential for a big flyer and if your opponent kills a morphed dragon in the early game you are blowing up a land or planeswalker.
Genesis hydra is amazing in a deck running so many creatures. Remember manifest is not my major mechanic in this deck it's devotion. Wildcall just provides efficient ways to use the main I will have. Same could be said about hydra.

I would have Arbor Colossus in the main deck instead of Destructor Dragon as it is cheaper, bigger and provides more devotion.
while I like Genesis Hydra I dont like it in a manifest deck, even if it can be returned to hand by Temur Sabertooth
not sure Abzan Beastmaster is a 4 of
Courser of Kruphix is good card advantage and interacts well with manifest and Abzan Beastmaster
