Put this together awhile ago blew a layer of dust off of it (literally)to play at a standard event last week and actually placed 3rd overall.
first match up was against UBWG control I just misplayed left and right due to unfamiliarity of the deck. I played it 4 times and forgot to answer to all sorts of stuff in my hand and misplayed spells. thought courser was a 2 toughness creature so I magma jetted it since I haven't seen that card in real life before....my only familiarity with that card was everyone telling me to buy 100 of them to flip later with magic finance (I don't trust them!)
second matchup was against almost the exact same deck however it was UWB
i went 2-1 with it because the mana base shorted him and a few misplays on his part.
third match was something called brave naya (apparently that's what he called it) running a bunch of planeswalkers, and mythics that see some light play in modern. brimaz that brought a token attacking and blocking, I think a playset of voice of resurgence etc. 2-0 ended up beating him in the race to flood the board state.
you guys are all better magic players than I am hoping to get some advice here. and before anyone decides to ask, there is no rhyme or reason why this happens to be the deck. its 15% draft leavings I get handed, 10% whatever was left in the sleeves from july of last year, some foil cards that looked kinda coolish and were low enough mana-cost to be played, and some stuff that I had laying around that happened to be signed
I really like Fanatic of Xenagos: either way you look at it, 3 for a 3/3 trampler with haste or 3 for a 4/4 trampler ain't bad.
I don't know what your playgroup is like, but Destructive Revelry might be an effective way to offer this deck some control+burn.
I also don't really like Arbor Colossus. Sure, he's 5 for a 6/6 with reach, but he requires a GGG commitment and his Monstrous ability is pretty unhelpful. You might want to consider instead something with a little more *umph*. I'm thinking Mistcutter Hydra simply because it gives you flexibility AND he has haste (not to mention can't be countered and pro blue; not inconsequential!), or maybe Polis Crusher as he has protection from enchantments (which might be helpful in your metagame, although maybe not).

Playing with proxied cards at sanctioned events is good, actually.

Blue lives don't matter in the slightest.
I agree with said points.
Destructive revelry is a card? Powhatan an amazing answer to d sphere and banishing light.
Also it's cheap removal in most cases, brave naya, eidolon etc. Is courser an enchantment creature too?
Mistcutter hydra I'll work on getting, that's a better version of reverent hunter when paired with Nykthos.
