I've played a similar deck and found that Brain Maggot and Fate Unraveler worked really well, since both interact with the constellation trigger. Unraveler is especially good when you have a Nyx-Fleece Ram in play, which I consider to be essential in this kind of deck.

Playing with proxied cards at sanctioned events is good, actually.
Can anyone take a look at this W/B deck I threw together? (I'm newly registered, so I can't make my own thread.) It's loosely based off the pro W/B decks listed at mtgtop8, but obviously I had to make a lot of major substitutions, so I'm not sure how it turned out. Any thoughts or recommendations?
The first thing that you should take into mind is consistency on a focused strategy. Decide exactly what your deck wants to do and liberally cut anything that doesn't further that goal. Up your counts of the things that do and do the job the best. The more your deck operates like a well oiled machine, the better off you'll be. As it stands, you've got a billion things going on. A majority of it boils down to midrange but for example, pain seer is going to bite you in the butt. Vizkopa guildmage has no uber combo to match. Gift of orzhova has relatively few creatures to go on. Dark prophecy is there with relatively few things to feed to it. Etc, etc. Zero in on the goal and keep your eyes on it. When doing budget, don't just try to copy and sub for top 8 decks. Think about what you can do with your limited budget and choose a suitable strategy that you can carry out without spending tons. Then streamline it. Streamlining is only exceedingly important when you have less to work with. Where you lose out on the ability to choose to play certain expensive cards you can try to make up for with smooth deck building technique and a choice of strategy that will target the weak points of the expensive decks you wish to beat but to do that, you need maximum consistency and focus.
