hmmmm well, it does create a lock, but you have to be in a winning position for it to be worth it. it sucks that you can't wipe the field inbetween the two cards. It would need a list where possibility storm and the Eidolon aren't bad on their own.
The big difference is that the Eidolon can attack and the Curse can't. 20 turn clock whoo!.. also no flashback this time. its not going to dominate no combo can with thoughtsieze.... a mono black player doesn't need to cast a spell after turn two pack rat. also mutavault.
anger the gods doesn't kill the Eidolon which is a plus.
It seems like a nice win con for a naya control/enchantress deck, that is probably running assemble the legion.

The curse was a one-sided lock. Still being able to play spells is a much bigger advantage than having a 1-power attacker.
The problem with using a Maze's End deck is that you can't cast Fogs anymore and straight up lose unless you wipe the board first. So you need Supreme Verdicts and maybe Cyclonic Rifts to keep their side of the board empty before you drop the lock.
Possibility Storm has some nice interactions here. It totally screws up your opponent's attempts to interact with your gameplan. Their spells morph into random spells and their creatures morph into random creatures. They can no longer rely on resolving a certain threat that breaks through your Fogs. Meanwhile...
When you cast an instant, you always get a fog
When you cast a sorcery, you always wipe the board (no Urban evolution MD because of this)
When you cast a Planeswalker, you always get Kiora
When you cast a creature, you get either ramp (good!) or Eidolon (lock!).
Enchantments are a bit more finnicky, either being Banishing Light, a 2nd Possibility Storm dud or the Eidolon for the lock.
So ideally you cast Possibility Storm, keep fogging and ramping, cast a Verdict and eventually tutor into an Eidolon and lock them out of spells while you Maze's End. Postboard you get Cyclonic Rift so your instants are either fogs or bounce their whole board, giving you more ways to clear their field before you drop Eidolon.
You can also just sweep the board + cast Eidolon, then next turn cast Storm depending on what they do with their maximum one spell. They get at most one creature out. If it gets roadblocked by Eidolon, you can safely drop Storm.
Post-board you can morph into a traditional Maze's End list and board out the combo, or board into more ways to keep their board clear before you drop the lock.

Well it hard locks anyone from playing anything. Will this dominate standard for a few months? I think so.

I think that with Heliod, this is setup to be able to go great guns with a backup of Sphere of Safety as well.
The main key is being able to have a stable board state when you set the lock. Possibility of going GWR for Green ramp as well for quicker locks.
