I'm working on a new competitive type deck that is more-so a control type deck. The basic idea is to stall until i hit my win con, in this deck Master of Cruelties enchanted with Aqueous Form. I a more of a Agro player so control decks aren't my thing. So that being i would love to have some feed back as far as my build and what i should do to tweak it to make it as powerful and efficient as possible.
It'll be a lot more consistent that grixis. Here's why.
Rakdos control controls by shooting everything down. Being unblockable is irrelevant.
Instead of trying to counter the things that'll shoot your master down, rakdos just runs rakdos return and hand hate to stop them from having cards to shoot it with. You scoop to a slaughter games (ironically) on omenspeaker, literally unable to deal the last point of damage. While slightly unrealistic, the point is that the master isn't all that scary as they get the opportunity to shoot it or the omenspeaker. Either shuts you out. Rakdos control does not as it is capable of killing without master. Rakdos will take less damage from shock lands. Rakdos doesn't have 4 dead cards in aqueous form that do not help it till it is ready to win. In other words, it gets away with fewer slots devoted to the poke and can thus focus on winning.
Going rakdos is better for you in just about every way, whether you're talking about efficiency, resiliency, or consistency.

This, you need some "creature or player" burn spells if you want to run Master of Cruelties. Not running any of them is asking for trouble.
