Hi to everyone
I want to go back into magic, i havent play magic since Legions (about 10 years :o), and i want to know which fat pack is better, M14 - Dragons Maze - Gatecrash - RTR or wait for Theros? All opinions and advices are apreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!
Best advice is probably: don't buy a Fat Pack. You're better off buying the cards you want or buying packs (which are cheaper individually than as part of a Fat Pack).

Which of the starting decks packs, do you consider are worth buying?

If I were you, I would buy singles to put together a deck that is rotation safe. You should be able to put together a playable deck for half the cost of a fat pack. Just something to get you (re-)started, you'll want to upgrade, switch out in no time (even if rotation wasn't nearly upon us).

Buying individual cards is indeed the way to go.
The only fat packs that are worth it are the zendikar ones (since you get all the lands), for standard they just aren't good value for money.
There was a pretty good event deck in ravnica iirc, that seems like the best precon if you really want one. Again, getting singles is easily the cheapest way to come back in the game.
I think youre right, buying singles is better im going to have more flexibility at the moment of constructing a deck! Thanks a lot!!!

Youre right im going to take ur advise too. i like more flexible decks for the moment, and buying single cards should do it! thanks a lot!
Theos is looking like it will be the same. the core of the next block and standard.
So I'd say.. RTR or Theos none of the others.
Think about the kind of deck you want to build during this time of year.
If you can get a whole deck ready, then go online and buy it because cards are at thier cheapest right now...
However theos cards will be expensive to start, but if you know what you are after you can dodge under hype and pick them up before people realise they are good.
It it tricky though.
I have bought exactly 1 fat pack.... I had run out of basic lands. I got a temple garden and a bunch of Voltic rigish cards... you just don't make your money back.
If your a player but not a collector, don't bother with fat packs. If your a player who needs deck boxes and want a spin down counter they may be okay.
If you just want to build a deck cheaply and quickly, Singles are the way to go. If you wanna try and earn money from packs, buy sealed boxes. Get them as close to 90$ or under if possible. Then you can use various methods to figure out which packs have money cards in them, sell the rest of the packs unopened.

RTR has a bunch of "glue" rares... Shocklands. Dreadbore, Supreme vedict.. etc.
