Rescue from the Underworld4B
Instant (U)
As an additional cost to cast Rescue from the Underworld, sacrifice a creature.
Choose target creature card in your graveyard. Return that card and the sacrificed card to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of your next upkeep. Exile Rescue from the Underworld.
Can you say value? I guess I will just sac my "insert any creature getting targetted by a removal spell/any creature that provides value" so I can get my "creature that just dodged a removal spell/provided me value" and my "other creature that provides value."
This card would've been great if Thragtusk was gonna be in the next rotation.
Sac McThraggers, get a beast, target another McThraggers, next turn bring back two McThraggers and gain 10 life.
I can see this being used in fringe play, or if some kind WBx deck with Obzedat's Aid becomes a thing, which I doubt, because Scavenging Ooze is in town.
I have a question: How does this card interact with Underworld Cerberus? You sacrifice the Cerberus and then what happens? I think you can target a card (since Cerberus is dead as part of the casting cost) you get all creatures from the graveyard to your hand, except the one you have targeted, but does Cerberus return at the beginning of your upkeep or does he remain exiled?
Can't even cast it. You don't pay costs until the final step of casting a spell. Choosing targets is the first (well, second - first is announcing that you're casting it). You can't choose a target (since Cerberus is in play), so you can't cast it at all.
The Cerberus doesn't allow you to target cards in GY's so you can't cast it at all. Even if you could the Cerberus's effect would return all the creatures in your GY to your hand which means the spell would lose track. It's a non-bo
I just love it from a flavor standpoint. And it'll be fun trying to come up with something that abuses the hell out of it.
Gray Merchant is a card that greatly intrigues me. It has potential to be poor-mans thragtusk replacement, decently weaker, but with this and gifts of immortality it can be a game ender.

No idea because my favorite decks keep getting banned or having the rules changed against them
This is an over costed Victimize. It doesn't matter that it is instant it is 5 mana. There is no reason anyone would be leaving 5 mana open for this unless it is the only thing you can be doing.
This is a limited goodness. Not standard playable.
Scuse me, but how is this ANYthing close to momentous fall? This reads "pay five mana, get two creatures, and have thier etb triggers go off again." vs, "you gain life, lose ome creature ( a bigger one to make is worthwhile), and draw cards-but you cant play them this turn".
I personally am a bit excited about the card. I'm already starting on a few list ideas to take advantage of it. If anyone feels like coming up with some ideas, feel free to pm me
