That is a great analyze of your current build. It seems like a deck taht perfectly fits the amount of creatures with heroic enablers (many via-bestow), which is something I've been encouraging a lot on this thread. I hope you can bring some FNM results on this specific deck, which seems pretty interesting and original.
By the way, you got a typo on Harvestguard Alseids and also, I don't think this deck is running Nyxborn Eidolon since is black. Can you fix your decklist so others can suggest accurately or test it on their own local shops? Thanks
I'm testing out myself my current athreos heroic aggro build this week, the prize are some sets of fetchlands so, I hope to win
Thank you Aoi. Corrections made; thanks for pointing them out. And good luck with WB! Monday night results:
1-2 vs BUG Rock. I was completely confused what he was doing, and my deck hated me with very bad draws.
2-1 vs Orzhov (death and taxes?). 1 was easy, 1 was tough until I got my 7/7 lifelinker and a second 7/7 to outrace his 5/5 flyer, and 1 was mulligans and thoughtseize.
2-0 vs MB aggro. Total domination. We both played little guys, but mine got bigger.
Black has Mogis's Maurader which is a 3 mana Brave the Elements, so it's something to watch for but clearly inferior. Master of the Feast gives us gas to overwhelm them before he connects. Desecration demon: If needed, we can just play out silly 1 one drops to tap him down, or break apart a bestow - but not always. Better choices are to banish, tap down, or lifelink our survival.
I think, for this deck to be anything, you must play some assortment of rangers guile, mizzium skin, ajani's presence and gods willing.
You need some draw. I'm looking at these lists and no draw. Heroic will never be Tier 1 if your opp has all the answers, card advantage and youre stuck with weenies.

Anyway, there have been spawning many successful heroic decks, mostly WU, and a peculiarly interesting UB. Now having many bestow creatures, is more a card advantage than anything, bestowing instead of playing the creature alone is usually the best way to follow a move, making your board more resilant to removals, while also having big creatures. Please don't misunderstand heroic decks, although they are filled up with weenies, it has an excellent midrange and end-game strategy, having a chance against control even if it is turn 10, something traditional aggro can only dream for.
In mono white aggro, there is no draw. For scry we have Gods Willing, Glimpse the Sun God, and that's all. For graveyard recurrence, we have Tethmos Highpriest for 1 and 2 drops, and Auramancerfor enchantments. Either of these run once or twice should be sufficient.
My deck plays 2 cards per turn so by turn 4 I'm topdecking. Usually this is fine as I've neutered their removal and dealt 15 damage by then so I just need one of about 20 different spells to finish it.
A neat combo is possible with Skybind: play Auramancer, get an enchantment back. Play the enchantment and exile Auramancer. When it returns, get another enchantment. But this is more of a midrange strategy.

The idea is to get out your Heroic creatures. The spells protect them and trigger their abilities. Playing black? Put out Aegis and protect him. 8-12 of their spells are useless. Gotta keep those protection spells and you may want to side in the BtE.
If Burn becomes a thing again - it'll need more lifegain. Again - you'll want to side in more protection in BtE because theyll shift all the pain to you if they can't target the creatures.
Banishing Light hits Jace, so you may want it. Or just attack kill Jace.

RG midrange. 2-0. I lucked into Celestial Flare against lethal.

UW control. 0-2.

UW Control again. 2-0.
List is as I posted on previous page except I played Heliod in place of Harvestguard.
I played badly in many games but especially vs Control. In these I got close to lethal bit didn't connect.
Overall impression in every match is I want to go faster and have more protection and that means lowering the curve. Heliod, Archetype of Courage, Harvestguard Alseids, Gift of Orzhova out. And replacing 2 Phalanx Leaders with Spear of Heliod. Both are general pumps, but it's not very useful to have 2 Phalanx Leaders at once because you can target either one for the effect.
More Brave, Gods Willing. May add back Precinct Captain, Soldier.
Boros Charm calls, but I will resist red for now. Also need to try Ajani.
Link to deck @ TappedOut.net
The deck wins consistently on turn 4 if not interrupted, often on turn 5. It has insane token production (7 creatures on turn 2!?) and can pump them up easily for an alpha strike. Honestily Sage of Hours seems to be the weakest card and even he can shine with 5 or more counters. I don't remove them instantly but rather keep them until I feel I need the turn or if he gets targeted by removal.
Only problem with 3 colors is Phalanx Leader, but he is too good to pass up.
I think the future of this archetype is 3 color: Brave Naya. Meanwhile, I'm sticking to mono-white for another round. It's done well except against UW control and R aggro/burn.
I want to try Tethmos Highpriest to regain some footing after a wrath. Basically play all creatures early, don't hold back. The strategy is to go wide rather than tall. (Vs red you can go tall but you have to beat Mizzium Mortars.) Then post-apocalypse we play Tethmos and start using the instants and auras we've held in reserve to rebuild our board with Precinct Captain, Spirit of the Labyrinth, Hero of Iroas. If you can protect Tethmos, every removal spell fizzles and builds our board. We'll see if this works or is just slow.
I also want to try Rogues Passage as a means of pushing late damage through, saving Gods Willing more for removal or to push two guys through.

Tethmos is a good one that will see a lot of play after rotation, it is a very good card, opaqued with the current 3-mana drops like Fiendslayer Paladin. Bant Heroics is something really promising indeed. The Battlefield Thaumaturge + Launch the Fleet bundle is pretty amazing and awesome indeed. Solidarity of Heroes is another interesting card, which basically can work as an ultimate finisher. Either aggro or voltron, I'm sure there are many ways to play a bant heroic, and I remember 2 or 3 bant decks in this thread, although I don't remember the pages.
Second thought: play 3 of each and drop Launch the Fleet. 1 mana for two Heroic triggers makes Coordinated Assault quite attractive to me. They'll also go farther towards not making you suicide your Mogis's Warhounds.
I've been tinkering with a slightly more aggressive than averrage WU Heroic build that seems to work reasonably well for me. Could I perhaps get some feedback here?

Is Supreme Verdict a good option for sideboard? Not in your type of deck. Being aggro, it won't put you in a more benefical position, Detention Sphere does the creature removal you need. In sideboard. Judge's Familiar would be an interesting addition in the sideboard, making you more efficient against control decks, while you have an early beater with evasion at the same time.
If aggro is an issue, lifelink works better for it, or Azorius Charm, which can both give all your creatures lifelink or remove an enchanted attacker to the deck, both functions are nice for the purpouse.
Thanks. I'm not terribly good with sideboards, honestly. Verdict just seemed like a decent idea at the time. I hadn't considered Charm or Familiar, I'll have to test both of them.
This is my take on standardizing Stanislav Cifka's list. I'm really more used to the Voltron style R/W heroics but this seems like it might have a chance against Mono-B. What I do like is the fact that I was able to pull off a Magic-Christmasland turn 3 kill.
T1 - Plains > Favored Hoplite
T2 - Mountain > Launch the Fleet targeting Hoplite > Attack. Coordinated Assault targeting both dudes = 6 damage.
T3 - Mountain > Attack with both. Coordinated Assault on both, then Boros Charm on Hoplite = 14 damage.
Like I said, Magic Christmasland, but it's there. 1 blocker spoils the whole thing, but I am starting to really like Launch the Fleet in this deck. This is a swarming style deck, and LtF really seems to shine here.

I don't always play Jank, but when I do, I play Saffronolive.
could anyone give me an extremely rough draft for a Naya heroics list I have the mama base and I have just about every heroic creature in the colors. please and thank you.
I just got back from game day with more mono-white experience. My impressions:
I'm not doing well vs. UWx control but I think it has a lot to do with inexperience and not knowing how to handle the matchup. But it's 1/3 of my meta so I must learn.
Precinct Captain is the best vs control, as is Spear to overcome Jace. Tethmos and Auramancer proved their worth - good enough to keep their slots in the sideboard. Banishing Light is absolutely needed. I didn't play Ajani's Presence or Rootborn, but now I think one of these should be there, because the plan is to stick 2-3 guys and then just attack - no spells except protection vs removal until Supreme Verdict. This means 3 mana should be available, sometimes 4. Rogues Passage (2x) is incredible. It lets your 4/4 attack every turn late game while dodging Mutavault and holding protection spells in reserve. Ajani himself would have won games if I had him, so I bought 2. Finally, I'm thinking to side out 2 plains to increase threat density. White weenie decks run 16 plains 4 Mutavault so color requirements are fine with 16+2 rogues.
Next, I'm better than MBA, except if I get too many cards stolen and Master of Feasts can't be killed and I don't have a fast enough clock. The typical solution is Hopeful Eidolon + Ethereal Armor, where 3-4 lifelink outraces 5 flying. Of course they have other threats and I do too. Mogis' Marauder is scary, but it's just Brave the Elements plus a 2/2 body. Aegis of the Gods is tech vs hand disruption and Devouring Flesh.

1.- vs Boros Heroic
I was amazed on this deck, extremely fast with tons of 1-mana creatures, encouraged with Phalanx Leader and many heroic enablers. My hand on both rounds was slow and with no lifelink, and I lost this one.
Result: 0-2
2.- vs Green Devotion
First round I lost, due to being overwhelmed by many creatures like Kalonian Tusker and Reverent Hunters with 5 or 6 +1/+1 counters.
Second and third round had a better time due to my flying and big creatures with lifelink, he was just on the defensive stand on both rounds, and I only had to exile his Polukranos, World Eater.
Result: 2-1
3.- vs Monoblue Devotion
First round was a very tough battle, I was attacking with my bestowed Hero of Iroas, while he had 2 Frostburn Weird, just to place down Thassa and Master of the Waves. I was about to win using Gift of Orzhova but then he used Cyclonic Rift, losing my chance to kill it and bein overwhelmed by the tokens.
Result: 2-1
6.- vs Esper Control
First match was an easy one, placing down an early Hero of Iroas bestowed with Eidolon of Countless Battles, being a 4-turns clock. Just when he dropped his Blood Baron of Vizkopa, I bestowed Herald of Torment and went for the win. His control was unable to handle it early and I won. Second and third match were total loses; he managed to kill my creatures efficiently (but not all) just to place down a Blood Baron of Vizcopa and Elspeth, Sun's Champion on the next turn. This happened in both late rounds, and since I have no way to deal with Blood Baron, I lost.
Result: 1-2
Well then, I can say this was no bad after all. The deck seems to have enough power to withstand the majority of decks out there, and Blood Baron is definitely his Achille's tendon, which luckily will be rotating on next standard, while most of my deck won't. Against aggro is a matter of getting lifelink first or remove the main aggro creature on his hand. Depending what we get on M15 on Khans of Tarkir, I'm sure the deck can increase his synergies and strategies, but right now seems it is good, maybe I'll remove Ratchet Bomb and play some kind of "sacrifices a creature" card or something, to kill without target, or maybe Extinguish All Hope, so I can have a chance against Blood Barons.
Monday Magic:
2-1 vs green Aggro. All games were fair battles, but very fast. Seems good to me.
1-2 vs Pack Rat. Literally the only creature he played. He kept discarding and making more when he wasnt killing my guys or thoughtseizing. However I blame the draw as I mulliganed to 5 then 6 then 5. Even so I had him down to 1 life in the first game.
2-1 vs GB dredge. Ajani was my hero twice. In the loss, I was overwhelmed by a mass of cheaty creatures, and still held off several rounds thanks to Hopeful, Ethereal, Gods Willing, and 2 Glimpse of the Sun God.

What are you people thinking about the UWx control matchup? I find I'm too slow. I've been advised more than once I should splash red for Boros Charm, etc., or black, or blue. I'm holding off on that.
I'm not certain, but I think maybe it's mostly up to changing play style. I know White Weenie has an acceptable matchup vs. UW control, and so I'm thinking of moving away from Heroic specifically for this matchup. In general, I'm loving the way my deck plays vs. Mono-Black, Monsters, Mono-Blue. 4 power lifelinking creatures is something Weenies doesn't offer. It gives us value from Gods Willing and Ethereal Armor and Rogues Passage. However, UW control likes that we have few creatures. It likes that Nyxborn Shieldmate attacks for 1. It likes that Phalanx Leader only has a couple creatures to pump, but they'll be dead before they connect, and besides a 1 power 1/1 is not great if we can't target him. They like that their Ram can block our big guy, that their Elspeth outnumbers our couple creatures. And they don't care one iota about our lifelink (unless we're aiming to draw by going to time).
White Weenie on the other hand is packed creatures: 12-16 one drops, most hitting for 2 power. Nyxborn+Ethereal hits for 3, but remember that's 2 cards, and if it's blocked by a single Ram it hits for 0. It may get bigger but against control at some point you will lose those 2 cards, and WW will still have an attacker. Then they have utility creatures that hit for two: Keening Apparition, Banisher Priest, Aegis of the Gods, Imposing Sovereign, Fiendslayer Paladin, Spirit of the Labyrinth, token generators of Precinct Captain and Brimaz, King of Oreskos. And while they aren't busy pumping creatures they are instead busy making more.
So in following this strategem, post-sideboard my only hero is Hero of Iroas, my only aura is Eidolon of Countless Battles (which is very happy being just a big creature). Then for 3 mana and 2-3 cards we swarm with about 5 attack power on turn 3, play out a Captain, get D-sphered then Verdict. Then post-Verdict, we quickly come back. Hopefully we saved some bodies with Ajani's Presence, kill the D-Sphere to get back a Captain, and play on with a Spirit of the Labyrinth. Now in the turns 5-8 we finish the game before a big Revelation occurs and Elspeth ticks up too far. And with no enchantment stacks, Brave the Elements - white is no big deal, and Mutavault chumpblocking doesn't matter.
But except for UW control, we stick to the old Heroic/Aura strategy.
Thoughts?

This is a swarming style deck, and LtF really seems to shine here.

for the awesome sig.

Result: 2-1
4.- vs Monowhite Aggro (splashing black)
Impressive fast deck too. First round I couldn't handle the many Boros Elite and Mutavaults, while my Eidolon of Countless Battles was killed with Doom Blade. Archetype of Courage made impossible for my creatures to block efficiently and lost all of them. Second round I managed to place down a Fiendslayer Paladin enchanted with Ethereal Armor and later with an Eidolon of Countless Battles, being an effective 7/7 which made me win life each turn while he was just blocking and attacking with little. Won after bestowing Herald of Torment. Last round I got nothing to play on the first turns and neither he did. He played Pain Seer, I had nothing, he attacked and then played Banishing Light on him. I got discarded my Fiendslayer Paladin due to Lifebane Zombie. I just had 2 hopeful Eidolon, Godless Shrine, Ethereal Armor and Gods Willing on hand, I had no other option but place down Hopeful Eidolon. He just placed Daring Skyjek and Boros Elite and kept the aggro coming. I then draw another Ethereal Armor, played both on my eidolon and swung for 9. Then I placed Gift of Orzhova and kept attacking, now for 12 each turn, he lost quickly after this.
Result: 2-1
5.- vs Boros Devotion
Both matches were really easy. My t1 Favored Hoplite got immediately enchanted by 2 Ethereal Armor, swinging for 7 turn 2. He played Ash Zealot and attacked. Then I got Gift of Orzhova next turn and swing for 11 with lifelink, he condeded the round.
Next one, I got killed my early creatures with Lightning Strike, but Hero of Iroas
managed to survive due to a Gods Willing when he played Chained to the Rocks. I Bestowed Herald of Torment and hit for 7, he played Boros Reckoner and placed a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. Next turn I bestowed Hopeful Eidolon on him and swung for 9. He attacked with Boros Reckoner and played Stormbreath Dragon to defend. Then I played Gods Willing, giving protection from red and swinging for 8.
Result: 2-0

I have tried in on cockatrice, runs fast and good, you sometimes loose do to mulls for no creatures

I'm thinking therefore to change up to get more creatures that hit for 2.
Main deck, replace Nyxborn Shieldmate with Dryad Militant.
Sideboarding, take out Hopeful Eidolon, Phalanx Leader, Ethereal Armor, Gods Willing. (The only blockers are low-powered, and trading one for one isn't bad when we have several attacking.) Bring in Judge's Familiar, Spirit of the Labyrinth, Keening Apparition, Tethmos Highpriest, Ajani's Presence and maybe Wear // Tear.
Thoughts?

Main point of the build is Sage of Hours+Sunbond+Ordeal of Heliod/Sphinx's Revelation. Heroic mechanic and Bioshift work wonders together, especially if you trade between Sage of Hours and Phalanx Leader. Looking to maybe fit in some more protection than just Azorius Charm, especially Gods Willing, but not sure where.
