Tested out that Enchantment based version of my W/r deck to slightly distasteful results. It went well, overall, but Heliod and his Spear's activated abilities don't gel well with the land I had avalable: I'm putting Ajani back in and dropping the spears.
Ethereal Armor, however, was pretty neat. I think I'll run those instead of Coordinated Assault for a little while. Between Hopefuls, Ethereals, Madcaps, Chained, and a single Heliod I'll have 15 Enchantments. Should be enough.
On the topic of the B/W Deck: I've been very interested in it and ordered all the cards I needed to make a casual deck. I've been trying to find decent 1-2 Drop alternatives to Aoi's deck but have come up short. Anyways, what's your opinion on Baleful Eidolon and Scourge mark?
Also, do you think a R/b Heroic Deck is functional? I feel like White plays too big a role in Heroics, but Akroan Crusader/Agent of the Fates deck seems interesting if there's enough to build around.
Thanks for the reply Aoi. I might run a deck similar to Horo on page 8, with adding Daxos and either adding to main/side Artisan of Form. Also will sideboard Mizzium Skin for hexproofs because the deck is prone to removal. The deck is really cheap and I had about 85% of the cards listed, just adding my own flavor.
As for Ruzhyo's on Baleful Eidolon and Scourgemark, I think Fateful Eidolon is slightly better being one mana less on both bestow and creature casting. Agent of the Fates will be your deathtouch dealer. Unsure about Scourgemark though.
I still need ThoughtSeize & Godless Shrines, but that will be roughly $50 bucks more, and I think i'll hold off on that a bit. I will still play with the B/U heroics deck, because now I understand what cards to utilize on the sideboard against removal/tokens.
This is very "defensive" and you have lots of instants to protect your creatures against direct damage // spot removal. I feel like the weakness of heroic is that if you "spend" a lot of card to give +1/+1 counters to something, then you are kinda screwed if the opponent kills it (or return to your hand, etc).
So, the goal is to slowly get creatures that are bigger and bigger (ajani, hidden strings, etc) while keeping them alive with gods willing / mizzium skin / triton tactics. Eventually you can just overwhelm your opponent.
Dauntless onslaught does double trigger but I feel its mana cost is inhibitive. I personally like the hopeful eidolon/ethereal armor train but that's me. Another card to consider is judge's familiar, a little weenie that can stave off some of that removal while still being a body that can get bigger from phalanx leader.
Interesting. Its not something I had noticed, but now that you mention it...Dauntless onslaught is certainly the card in my deck that sees the less play. It usually sits in my hand for 3/4 of the game, because there's always something better, or I need to keep mana for Mizzium skin / Gods willing. I'll try to figure something out. Either take it out (for more hidden strings / ordeals) or replace it ( battlewise valor or aerial maneuver)
About the hopeful eidolon / ethereal armor thing... I like it, but... i dont know what else I'd remove to include it in my deck.
Could run a couple removal spells. Two Detention Spheres by chance? Swift Justice is also another cheap single-target trigger.
If you feel like you're wasting spells, or want longer lasting effects, you could run Eidolons and EtherEal Armors or Auras in general. Detention Spheres would add removal/boost Ethereal as well. I would advise not going full aura and keep some tricky instants.

Bioshift could work. if you lose a body the counters on that body is usually the important bit and saving them helps maintaining pressure alot. You can also use it to pump the critter beeing targeted with shocks/pit fight-esque things etc.
And you get to move around the counters from any heroic triggers the card might trip.

I too, am going to use Daxos as well, Lemur. I think though I'm going to main board mizzium skins just for extra protection. I'd run 4 gods willing total, just fantastic and a must IMO for having 4 main. Looks good, and good luck.
I feel like 3 playsets of 1cmc creatures is too much, at least with 21 Land. Has Ethereal Armor proven useful with only 10 enchantments mainboard? I might suggest pulling -4 Hopeful Eidolon for +4 Akroan Hoplite. Akroan Hoplites jive better with Calvary Pegasus and helps you explode early. Removing Eidolons weakens Ethereal, so I'd -4 Ethereal Armor for +4 Swift Justice / Titan's Strength / Coordinated Assault.
Don't see why you don't just run Coordinated Assault instead of Dauntless Onslaught? First strike can be just as valuable as +1/+1 for two less mana.
Chained to the rocks is a more economical than Banisher Priest and will compliment Ethereal Armor. Would reduce your 3-Drops a bit as well.
Also, I'd say focus on either a weenies build or boosting the hell out of a single creature: your deck seems to be trying both. If you choose the single-creature I'd say drop Brave the Elements for Gods Willing.

Good idea. I'm definitely getting 2 detention spheres. Its probly going to be
-4 Dauntless onslaught
+2 Detention spheres
+2 Aerial maneuver (good synergy with hidden strings, IMO. Or maybe just add +1 aqueous form and +1 hidden strings.)
I dont really feel like I'm wasting spells. I usually play very defensively, and hold all instants almost exclusively to respond to removal / incoming damage. Feels great to negate a card AND get a +1/+1.

Thats interesting. I could see it used in a deck thats more aggressive.
I went 3-1 at my local fnm with this beast I put together right before the tournament. So keep in mind some of my choices were very last minute.

Daxos was actually amazing. Why wouldnt he be? Hes a nightveil specter that gains you life and allows you to cast spells off any lands!
Any game where I could build a bot I pretty much won. My loss was to BUG featuring Devour Flesh, Aways, and Gaze of Granites. Pretty much everything awsome against Gods Willing and Triton Tactics.
Nice Bane of the Living. I am going to run both B/W & W/U and adding 2 Daxos to the mainlist. Just need to fix my sideboard more to deal with random decks I faced. Once I have thoughtseize's i'll put it in B/W deck and should be more efficient.
I'll attempt to use Hidden Strings for W/U. Psedo-Vigilance and decent heroic enabler. Gift of Orzhova, works wonders on my B/W and will attempt to use it on W/U, since lack of flying creatures, and just deadly with Fabled Hero.
Even though this is W/r Heroics, I figured I'd pitch a Rakdos Aggro/Heroic take here. Agent of Fates and Tymaret are neat cards and I want B/R Heroics to be a thing. Hopefully Born of the Gods has some nice additions. I know at least there is a B/R Temple coming.
The goal is to hit hard and fast, doing damage where you can, and destroying potential threats. To be honest, I've not put much throught into the exact machinations but it wouldn't be too far off of a standard aggro with combat tricks.
After messing around with this style in the form of Battlewise hoplite, fabled hero, artisan of forms, I have found that it just plain never wins. It's like an aggro strategy that has no proper board state improvement over time. Am I missing something? Maybe it's the WU combo that sucks? But I also tried modifying my boros aggro with akroan crusader, favored hoplite, anax and cymede, titan's strength and coordinated assault, and that too was really really crappy compared to my straight up classic aggro version.
Personally, I W/r and W/u are porbably the "best" heroic decks: Red slpash being explosive and Blue being more manipulative.
Fabled Hero and Akroan Crusader are probably my least favorite Heroic cards, while Favored Hopelite, and at times Phalanx Leader, are my bread winners. Non-Heroic honorable mention to Hopeful Eidolon.
As far as W/r goes, I find it's about having a few good T2-T4 combos, boosting a single creature, and evading for a doublestrike. There's a few ways I can get their life down to 0-2 by T3. I do know that my weakness is Devotion and Control decks
The goal is...
T1: Hopeful or a Hoplite
T2: Madcap Skills, or Ethereal Armor + Ethereal Armor = Swing for 5-7
T3: Ajani, or Boros Charm + Gods Willing = Swing for 14
If that fails I do what my hand permits and Stall with Precinct, Reckoner, or Favored Hopelite's secondary effect. I've stalled sufficiently enough against a Red Devotion and a R/G/W Big deck to turn the tide.
Phalanx Leader and Fabled Hero are a great distraction/secondary Heroic target at best: Phalanx leader seems to benefit more in a swarm/aggro or if you're running coordinated assualt.
I've gone 4-1 and 3-2 in the FNM's I've been to. I've never lost a match 0-2; I've always brought it to 3 rounds.

Alright, give us results if you happen to do a tournament. Can't make any suggestions since I'm not familiar with Rakdos Heroic builds. Maybe I can think of is Dragon's Mantle? Otherwise, good luck!

I'm missing some key cards - namely the Blood Crypts. If I had them I'd just buy the rest but I'm afraid that the Crypts are currently beyond my means.

Yeah, I too am missing shocklands(3 Godless Shrines). Not going to buy, but attempt to trade in my local store, since I got Mutavault that could trade a 2 for 1 deal based on the value of the cards. I might trade Thassa God for a Thoughtseize as well.
Any changes/comments + Sidedeck recommendations appreciated. I was thinking of Mizzium skins as sidedeck for protection from removal and Judge's Familiar as side to delay removals by opponents. Artisan of Forms maybe.
So I use this deck and B/W Heroic. I prefer B/W but missing Godless Shrines & ThoughtSeizes. Going to trade for some when I get the chance. I nabbed Mutavault, Sphinx of Revelation, Thassa God card, & Elspeth(Though unsure if I want to keep this). Not planning to use mutavault and Sphinx of R(THough I know its ridiculous).
Seems solid, although I'm unsure of how I feel about Gift of Orzhov.
On the topic on B/W: Save the Godless Shrines, all I needed to make Aoi's Orzhov Voltron Heroes (i think I got that right) were the Agents. been trying test-hands and the number of three-drops and the 1mm is putting be off a bit even with "dummy" shrines. Besides High priest of Pennance and Sin Collector, are there any other 2cmc or 3cmc B/W Heroic friendly creatures?

I understood it. He's saying on Aoi's Orzhov build on page 7, that the only cards he lacked, besides Godless Shrines, were the Agent of the Fates. He then dicusses that the deck drawing/playing is tough with creatures that require 2 white or 2 black mana's. I.E- FiendSlayer Paladin, Agent of the Fates, NightHowler, Fabled Hero. In the tournament I was in, I got screwed when I had two plains & one swamp mana, and the card in my hand were Agent, Nighthowler, Gift of Orzhov, Ethereal Armor, Gods Willing. Could not get any creatures out
