What I was really looking to know was if it had Nykthos, Jace or Cloudfin Raptor mainly. Just to know if I need them or not.
Do we know if Reid Duke is running any of those 3?
Sam Black and Finkel's lists had Nykthos and Raptor but I never saw them play a Jace.
Keep in mind there are multiple versions-- TeamSCG is running a more aggro list while Team Blue Danube (Euro) seems a bit more controllish with Claustrophobias and Jaces.
You really cant go wrong investing in all three cards, though. Jace and Nykthos will be staples and Raptor is so cheap.

Have a helicopter drop you off out front. Light your cigar with a small Indonesian boy holding a black lotus. Then bust out a craw wurm deck with no sleeves. Raw dog shuffle, loose terribly, flip the table, leave in a hovercraft.
I think Reid ran all of them, now that you mention it there should be Jace in there somewhere... Probably sideboard? Might be 2 in 1 Dissolve slot and the 20th landslot...
I do not recall seeing any of them, but I missed a good amount of the coverage at the time he was on. Same with Sam Black's, I don't recall seeing raptor shrine or Jace in the coverage I did see.

There are different mono blue decks out there. The deck tech they did was from a European team that had Jace and counter spells and no Nykthos. The Star City Games list doesn't have Jace in the main, not sure about side and does have Nykthos. I believe they both have Cloudfin Raptor and Judge's Familiar as the one drops.
LOVE this BR deck. But, I have a feeling Rakdos's Return in my hands would not be nearly as good as in Lukas's. He did an amazing job of setting that one up last game.
Apparently there was a 5-0 Mono-Black Devotion deck after Day 1 in addition to the Mono-U, R, Gr Devotion decks. The Mono-B deck was piloted by Kentaro Yamamoto; I'd love to see that list.

Fairly sure I saw his name on the top 16 board as well, so perhaps he continued to excel day 2.
We will see shortly, had no idea what he was piloting.

Mihara conceded to Yamamoto to get him into Top 8.

As far as what they're piloting, I know Black is on Mono-U Devotion, Yamamota is on Mono-B Devotion, Mihara is on Mono-G Devotion and Rietzl is on BW midrange. I don't know about the other 4. I'd love to get the Mono-R Devotion in the Top 8 to get all four Devotion decks in there but not sure if any of the other 4 is piloting it.
It should be noted that you've got some real household Magic names in the Top 8, too (household as in well-known Pros).

Dezani is on the Fish deck as well. Wafo is on Esper (obviously). Mihara's deck isn't Mono-G by any means, however.

Does anyone know here cfb's Rg devotion? I am so curious because i have been tweaking it all week long but i cant seem to have the proper ratios...i hope they release the lists soon...this might be the first time cfb got out-meta'd...sam black is the leveler of levelers.
1 Jeremy Dezani - Mono U Devotion
2 Samuel Black - Mono U Devotion
3 Kentarou Yamamoto - Mono B Devotion
4 Guillaume Wafo-Tapa - Esper Control
5 Makihito Mihara - Green/Red Devotion
6 Paul Rietzl - BW Mid-range
7 Pierre Dagen -
8 Kamiel Cornelissen -
Not sure what the last two are playing...
Dagon was on camer, but I don't quite remember what he was playing. I want to say it was b/w midrange, but I'm not sure.
Anyone else remember that match?

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
Chat moderator just said Pikula will be giving away any money he wins to charity.
What a class act.

BDM on the scrylands in this deck: "So the ONLY reason it's in there is for Scry."

I'm sure I saw the Raptor in Reid's deck but I can't say for sure on the other 2.
Watch for cards to skyrocket this weekend. I'm pre-emptively buying them up as I can.
