if you were doing well, why not play all 15 rds in Miami? x-4 would have put you in the top 64 and that would have earned you 200$.
I got a phone call and had to leave immediately, and i didn't have time to drop. this would have put my record at a final 9-4, drop, but when i left i had gone 9-3.

I keep hearing people say that Act 2 has a good match up against Act3/Junk, however I find it to be my hardest match up and has in fact been the only match up I've lost in the last 3 weeks of FnMs. Anyways, I was wondering how you would suggest side boarding against Act3/Junk and what are the key points that are supposed to make this a good match up for Act2.

you have falkenrath and they don't.
also, especially for that matchup, i would find a way to run 4 knight of infamy. he makes a fool of voice and voice token, plus exalted on falkenrath means that you don't need to sac if they chump with a spirit.
dropping sorin for more aggressive cards would probably work really well overall, i cut him and never looked back at all. more liliana is never a bad thing.
i know that aristocrats players are especially attached to doomed traveler, but IMO he's easily the weakest card in the deck. even without a zombie core i couldn't justify him. he's just terrible.

falkenrath isn't good vs other aristocrat decks because they run 4x lingering souls, i side her out in the mirrors.
doomed traveler is very good, if you don't have turn 1 doomed traveler, then you can't really play turn 2 cartel aristocrats against decks that have burn or removal, rdw/jund/usa control. doomed travler > skirsdag > cartel is the nut draw for turn 5 demons.

i'm running with zombies and find so much more success with gravecrawlers than i ever did with doomed traveler. he's like a repeatable doomed traveler, just without the flying. and 2 power.
and against the act 3 decks, i love falkenrath. if she gets a counter from a human sacrifice she beats face, and forces them to chump with spirits that could otherwise attack you. plus she's a sac outlet, so i couldn't justify sideboarding her out. yeah, spirits can clog up the air, but if you deal with the spirits she wins games.
and even if you don't deal with the spirits she wins games.
although, i have to admit that the biggest determining factor by a mile in any aristocrat mirror, no matter which act are playing, whoever draws more blood artists wins. it really is that simple.
edit-
if neither draws blood artist or both stick one, then the games matchups are different. in games where one gets a blood artist/the other doesn't/draws 2 blood artists over the opponents 1, the game is totally over.

If you can land a Blood Baron of Vizkopa, Junk Crats has a VERY difficult time!
I will edit and add more tonight, I just wanted to get a discussion going on our decks. Thanks!
drop young pyromancer, she does literally nothing in your deck. run 3 silverblade paladin instead, the ability to alpha for 12+ damage with a single creature is ridiculous.
You'll notice that I replaced Lingering Souls with Thatcher Revolt. (I mentioned it in the comments of Craig Wescoe's article: http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=11274) I feel like, although the tokens do not have flying, they have haste and way more synergy with the deck now that Xathrid Necromancer is a thing.

I used Thatcher Revolt back in a RB Vampire deck. Xathrid Necromancer makes this card so sick! I used it last night. I used it last night in a similar deck to yours. I went 3-1 drop (I wanted to go drink) in a 42 person FNM. I highly recommend this card.
I won against
2x UWR Control
2x Bant Hexproof
1x Bant Control
1x Jund
1x B/R Zombies
I lost against
1x U/W Control
1x G/R Aggro
I feel this deck still has life left in it. It has some nice nut draws, good wipe recovery, and late game reach.
I used each of the cards in my sideboard at least once. War Priest of Thune was an all-star against hexproof. The least useful card in the sideboard would have to be the Blood Baron, I didn't see any junk aristocrats or any other aristocrat decks for that matter.

Very nice, congrats man. How was the high priest for you? He never really did enough for me. My list is almost exactly the same as yours except I have 4 reckoners and another act over the priests, a gather and a vault.
The SHP did pretty good, unexpectedly he did a number against hexproof. He gave me the means to race with a 5/5 flyer swinging on turn 4 and provided a nice threat. I like to keep asking my opponents questions to see if they can come up with the answers, enough questions going unanswered equates to a win.

Not sure why, but the High Priest is always been a good card to me against the hexproof decks. I think it's because they have no means to remove him so he has free reign to race. When I was playing Junk Aristo, I always won a game when I got him into play on turn 2 or 3, without question.
I'm certainly interested in playing this new version that's been popping up. it seems to have taken 13th and 15th place recently as well (jund having taken like 9 of the top 8 spots between the two standard tournies with g/r dragon winning both).

Not true. If you know your triggers, kill the board on their turn. They are the acting player so their artist triggers go on the stack first, then yours on top. If yours get them to 0 life, then their artist triggers never go off and they lose the game.
Round 1: 2-1 vs Boros Aggro
Game 1 I had Innistrad lands enter the play tapped and he beat me harshly as I was too far behind to ever get back in.
Game 2 I mulligan to 5 and sigh when he kept his opening 7. Lucky I had a nut draw of Doomed Traveller > Skirsdag High Priest > Cartel Aristocrat and 2 land for a perfect turn 3 Demon, which I stole the game with.
Game 3 I got another nut, turn 3 demon spam in to round 2!
Round 2: 2-0 vs BW Zombies
Game 1: Wins with beats while he flounders a little.
Game 2: He flounders again, and puts up a desperate Vampire Nighthawk. I Mark of Mutiny it, swing with some of the team, sacrifice it to Cartel Aristocrat and then pop another demon.
Round 3: 2-0 vs Humanimator (feat. Undercity Informer)
Game 1: Play Blood Artist, and he goes "ungh". He says that he is going to have to be careful with his combo. I beat on him a bit. He sets the combo then Unburial Rites his Angel of Glories Rise, returning all humans to the battlefield. In response to his Fiend Hunter targetting the Angel, I shoot the angel with Orzhov Charm (I realised afterward I would have been better off shooting the Fiend Hunter in response to his first trigger, taking 3 life instead of 6, and then killing the Fiend Hunter and permanently exiling the Angel...). I win with beats.
Game 2: I ended the game before he could set up a combo.
Round 4: 0-2 Elf Ramp
Game 1: He Hoof's me for lethal one turn before I can lethal him.
Game 2: He Hoof's me for lethal one turn before I can lethal him. Damnit!
War Priest would be for Curse of Death's Hold, Burning Earth and Bant Hexproof match ups. Curse and Burning Earth I'm pretty cold to.
Profit // Loss is a one sided sweeper for decks that run it fine on the 1 toughness line (like Elf Ramp, Aristocrats, etc). Electricky is also fine, but this has other uses after they become immune to Electricky by playing a Gavony or an Elvish Archdruid. Worth a try?
Banisher Priest seems worth a try. I would like to just "one up" a creature in an aggro match, or suppress a mana creature in an Elf Ramp scenario, etc. Banisher > Fiend Hunter because it increases my killing capacity!
Another removal card (Doom Blade, Celestial Flare, etc etc). Feels like I need one more cheap removal to bring in for creaure matches.
I'll also comment on the 3 Witchbane Orbs. Basically, it's for Jund. I really, really want to stick an Orb as early as possible. When you stick an orb, the other 2 orbs become "dead" (until they putrify your first orb). Obviously that's pretty clunky, but when you consider that that WBO actually makes about 9 of their cards "dead" - cards that absolutely hose you - it seems like a sweet trade! Bonefire of the Damned, Rakdos's Return and Curse of Death's Hold are all neutered, (as well as Duress/Appetite/Edicts, if they play it against you for some reason =\) and other cards like Lifebane Zombie are affected too.
Sideboard:
1 Blasphemous Act
1 Chandra, Pyromaster
2 Gideon, Champion of Justice
2 Imposing Sovereign
2 Olivia Voldaren
2 Sin Collector
2 War Priest of Thune
3 Zealous Conscripts
Not as big a fan of xathrid in this list with only 12 humans. I think the idea you're going for is an original act 2 list with 3 obzedats to go bigger. It's been doing well recently online as well. Check out TCGplayer for an article about it.
