This is my Naya Midrange deck I have been tuning over a few weeks. I first was thinking Silverblade palladin, hellriders, flintof boar, and strangleroot geist and the more Agro approach was going to be fitting, but its hard to say no to the powerhouse cards that these colors have to offer. I decided to cut the two drops, go with farseek as well as cut domri rade and go with garruk relentless.
Our LGS ran two gamedays, 12pm and 4pm. Each had 12 participants where about 4 people left and so the same 8 ppl were playing in both. That might account for me going 11-1 for the day, but the meta was very difficult to say the least.
Round1
2-0 R/B Rakdos agro: Right before the tournament i said to a little homie, "you wanna use a hellrider for your B/R deck?" We got paired up round 1, and it was a blowout Round2
2-0 G/B mid/jank: This dude abused corpsejack menace and primordial hydra as well as maindecked 4 deathrites, but my shining star was bonfire and s/b selensya's charm. Round3
2-0 B/W Immortal Servitude: He had 1 and 2 drops with champion/doomed traveler and aristocrat/blood artist/ skirtsdag highpriest combos.. pretty good opponent and these games were tough. I used nevermore and named blood artist game 2, was clutch. Round4
..split into top4 against a Bant control deck, we played one match and i lost horribly. Semi's
2-1 G/R Agro bloodrush deck. Very smart opponent had me guessing the whole way, and wins were paper thin from losses with this super swingy matchup. He admits my deck is the hardest for his matchup but still he gave me the biggest sweat out of all. Finals
2-1 Naya Midrange. Another friend ran a simmilar deck, so it was a mirror match in the finals. Game 1 i farseeked on the draw and was able to play a huntmaster before him... both of us unaware of the rulings he palyed another and I passed my next turn.. luckily for me the ruling came in my favor and his hunts died (psstt... dont play a huntsmaster if your opponent has a huntsmaster already out and you have no play durring their turn.) Our notable differences in deck build are his using Domri Rade instead of my Garruk Relentless and he was running loxodon smiters and more boros charms main. It was great to win the mat, and plus 30 store credit
Second Gameday, 4pm. Round1
0-2 G/R Agro Bloodrush, same opponent exacted revenge from previous semi's. Round2
2-0 B/U Immortal Servitude deck. This deck ran blue for the alchemy's and such, fun player and great match but my shining star would have to be boros reckoner and miracle bonfire. Round3
2-0 Naya Midrage. Again, a rematch from finals and this one I took down. Out game 1 took 25 minutes on its own, intense battle and great zem moments of thought. Round4
Split into top 4 but this time it was a sweat... our tie breaks depended on one match and it eneded up going to time (Band mid vs 4c Bo Borg) so the person i was tie breaking with ened up in with me. Semi's
2-1 G/R Agro Bloodrush. After getting stomped game 1 I got him to mulligan to 4 game two then took down game 3 in a crazy exact-o fashion. Finals
2-1 Esper Control. This list was fine tuned and crazy good, I was sweating it for sure. I had the nut hands every game, fortunately they all looked like this: 5 drop, boros reckoner, farseek, pilgrim, two lands one being a shock. So the question was farseek turn two or boros reckoner turn two, I took the option to beat face with the 3/3 and it ended up being the right line. The points in the game where he stabalized he was low enough life total that my top the the deck was in range of killing him, first a bonfire to get dissipated, then after his Angel of Serenity exiled my only creature a Thundermaw Hellkite came crashing in for the win.
It was a hell of a day, I had a lot of fun hanging out too... but most of all I walked away with two gameday mats!
so im gonna give a shout out to all the homies at COSMICS !!

played against this list yesterday won 2-0 with wolf run bant but is still a great deck
Now that I remember correctly... the person I split with in Round 4 of the first event was splashing red for wolfrun in his bant... and I got blown out horribly in the one game we played, did not want to play another.
