I agree it is slow, but that is why I get it out way before I need it, that way it has some counters on it when the big guys land. Also it is funny vs tokens, always makes me laugh crushing entreat the angels with two colorless.

P.s Lilly 2.0's ultimate would give ya a 50/50 shot of dropping a planeswalker, and it has other uses as well, maybe a sideboard for ya if ya don't like ratchet.
Like I said in the earler post it ws the only match I lost tonight. Pulling them from thier hand or trying to kill them with your creatures isnt as easy as just saying it. I kinda like the revoker idea. torpor orb was awesome tonight.
@ Garroth, I dont get it. WAIT! If they cant target me, they cant target my cards right! For instance can Tamiyo tap target permanent still? like one of my lands? She isnt targeting me so it would still be good right? Also Speaking of orbs, I used torpor orb today and NOBODY saw it coming. No messenger trigger, no resotation trigger, no image trigger, etc. It worked awesome. I was at 4 life playing zombies and I was using BSZ and mutilate on his messengers all day long with no effect. It was great. Sorin lord of innistrad is bad for us too. Does mana leak work with that? Counter target spell?
PJ, if you read my post, I said it deals with most planeswalkers. I didn't say it stopped Tamiyo from tapping down a permanent of yours. You asked for help in dealing with planeswalkers, so I offered something that has worked well for me in most cases. Other options include Karn, Ratchet Bomb, discard spells, and kill it with your creatures. Consume Spirit is a viable option as well, whether you believe it or not.
But am I waiting to be mana leaked when I dump all my mana into consume spirit? I dont know Garroth. I just wish we had an immediate answer ya know. Play x card and kill a planeswalker. I know I am asking too much since black got the huge upgrade with all the great cards, but I'm greedy. I want all the answers. Haha. I do run a single karn out of the board as well but I need to find him asap. I know this is going to soound like a bad idea but what about increasing ambition to go and find karn?

Increasing ambition is not a bad idea at all. I run 1, and I love it. Running 4 would be a bad idea.
As for mana leak, play around it, really, is all you can do.
If you are worried about Mana Leak, you can always run more discard. Discard is the natural enemy of Counterspells. I am currently trying out 3 Mind Rot, and 4 Despise, with some Duress in the SB.
How were people's results last night at FNMs? Im curious at the initial reception.
My own tournament report
Round 1: Played against American Delver. Game one I despised away all of deliver creatures back to back then dropped ravenous rats and rode liliana and Bloodgift demon to a win. Game two I despised away one of three angels and then killed the remaining two as they dropped. My lilianas kept getting Celestial Purged and I rode Demonic Rising tokens and a Nighthawk for the win 2-0.
Round 2: Played against GW humans. I was on the play and despised away a champion of the parish. He played pilgrim next and I Sign in Blooded. I forget a lot but I outraced him with Demonic Rising tokens after a mutilate on 2 blade splicers and tokens. Game two I almost lost. He turn 1 championed into a turn two near hearth pilgrim. He got up to 29 life and dropped me to one when I top decked a mutilate. He oblivion ringed a lashwrithe and a liliana on the way to my second lashwrithe. I sided in 4 Phyrexian crusader and two Lashwrithe. I won 2-0 After swinging four turns in with an 8/8 lashwrithe.
Round Three: played against RB Vamps. Kept a 2 lander with 3 despise a sign in blood and a nighthawk. Didn't see a second black source all game. Flipped 6 cards end of the game and all were spells. Game two I despised away his nighthawk, dropped a liliana, and a demonic rising to win. He flooded out. Game three he started with gas but my mutilate wiped out his board of noctournus, and two nighthawks. I dropped two Bloodgift demons on the way to victory.
Round four: I played against UR delver. I killed all his creatures as they came out with two verdicts and a doom blade. I dropped demonic rising animated an Inkmoth and started token producing. I won. Game two he pondered and probed a lot and I dropped a liliana and started to deplete his hand. I won with triple nighthawk. 4-0 at this point.
Final round: played against rug run ramp. Game one I despised away hunt master and left him with bonfire and temporal mastery and three lands. I drew three sign in blood and he scooped to a Bloodgift Demon on 5. Game two I kept a one lander on the draw with three sign in blood a despise and a rav rats. Didn't see a second til too late. Game three I dropped demonic rising with a Nighthawk on board and made a 5/5 demon. I dropped two more nighthawk the following turn and lived through prime times double searching out glimmer posts twice. I added a Bloodgift demon to the board and go for the throated his prime time. I swung in next turn and won 2-1.
So overall I went 5-0 and took down FNM. Demonic rising and despise were MVPs with nighthawk in a close third. I really can't say how fun it is to win with a deck you love to play. Mono black felt goooooood.

If you would always be casting it to search for Karn, why not just run more Karns? That would save you a turn

I think its quite clear that this thread goes in circle without any clear direction or leadership. We need someone to Take control and start a Primer in the Developing section so Mono black can get some real Respect and Results

I played the list with lashwrithe/Nighthawk. Only loss was to g/w aggro 2-1, Beat 2 Naya Pod 2 R/g Aggro and a Solar Flare to make top 8 to lose to the other mono black control
The reason I lost to g/w aggro was due to me keeping bad hands and not mulliganning aggressively enough. I 2-0'ed every match up besides the ramp mbc and g/w. Definitely putting Memoricide in the board to deal with planeswalkers, karn is coming out.
Druidic satchel was sick for me all day, as was inkmoth nighthawk and lashwrithe.

Hey, I play at Crossroads all the time Nice list though, looks like a solid core
Satchel is incredible vs control and good vs aggro, It deserves a slot. If I had the room I'd play another. it powers you through lands, makes blockers/lashwrithe carriers, and gains you life. It's quite powerful for this deck.
@Dirty: Nice, its a great place to play. I think my list was solid but not nearly perfected. Here are the changes I'm going to test
MD:
-1 Grave Titan
-3 Duress
+3 Distress
+1 Lashwrithe
SB:
-1 Karn
-1 Wurmcoil
-1 Curse Of Death's Hold
-3 Distress
+2 Duress
+1 Druidic Satchel
+3 Memoricide
I elect you bjorn222 considering you have so much information to share. Tell me how to win please.
I dont claim to know all about mbc or how to win. But i have been watching this thread for many weeks. It cycles from random deck lists that arent responded, to arguements over bad discard like ravenous rats or black cat or artifacts which never really leads to any changes as the following wave of decks that dont recieve answers arent any different.Meaningless discussion. This would be much different if we had a primer which would provide a solid base and direction.

Make them discard it, or kill it with your own creatures.
Planeswalkers were not a problem for me tonight at all.
Thanks to xeno for the sig and avvy!!!
Well obviously those are the answers but if you read his post he was looking for ideas outside of that. And there aren't many.
-Bishop
BSZ definitely does NOT target so it kills all pro-black creatures.
