So, I am thinking that I want to use the 4 Quiron Dryads I have from back in the day. I originally thought about play U/G or U/G/r but then I thought it might be an interesting experiment to just try red. With the draw options they have, I thought it might work out alright. Let me know what you think in general.
This is just a rough sketch, but the idea is that red has quite a bit of card draw these days and every red spell helping your dryad seems good. The Burn is kinda just guessed, I would need to test it to find out. Also, there are other options that could be really good (Huntmaster, Koth or Tiblat, Incinerate, etc), but I thought I would just get the idea on paper and see where to go from there.
It may not be the best version, but looks kinda fun to me.
looses hard core to Vapor Snag all three of your creatures need counters or they arn't worth it. you should probably run other good creatures such as Thundermaw Hellkite. Actually i think a good card for this would be archwing dragon. comes in smacks for 4 pumps dryad then goes back to your hand to be cast again next turn.
Thundermaw hellkite is really good all the ti,e and could definitely be worth it. However, the 5 mana cost could be a problem for 22 lands (and it is costly). I do likethe concept of archwing dragon, though. Could be an interesting test. The rason for stormkirk noble and stormblood berserker was that i wanted some aolid creatures at a low cost in red. If there are better ideas i would love to know. As i said, i originally was gonna do blue but i wanted to mess around with a green red first. If you did add a little blue i also like the idea of desperate ravings.
Good point on the Apostle's Blessing. I don't know about Mental Missstep, cause I can never seen it really work well, but I can see why you would want it.
Archwing dragon definitely seems like an awesome choice for a dryad deck. Chandra's phoenix is also good red aggro critter and comes back. huntmaster is an awesome 4 drop and passes the snag test.
First drop dangerous wager--it seems to be pretty poor for everyone I've seen use it. I'd also probably drop either the guess or the looting, because both are a bit clunky in a deck that doesn't play a lot of cards from the GY.
Gut shot is a strong card that gives you a free boost to the dryad, give it a try.
I also think that the manabase could probably accommodate strangelroot geist who seems like someone you would want to invite to your party.
If you want to play a topend creature, go with thundermaw hellkite or huntmaster of the fells, NOT Archwing. Archwing is a questionable card in and of itself, and I don't think it suits your build. If you can't afford the hellkite or the huntmaster, just keep your curve low (although....hound of griselbrand would be epic with a rancor).

I think you might be right on some things. I noticed that Farwin Kastle posted a red green dryad list on monday on gatheringmagic.com, which i think might have more potential. Kastle went with more or an aggro/burn build with no real draw cards. I think it might be a bettet direction but not sure.
I think archwing dragon migjt be a decent try in this deck still as he comes out and can put 5 power of difference (4 for the dragon, 1 on tje dryad) so i like his style as a test. I am going to build this I think for a couple of weeks of FNM after I test out my silly Primal Surge build thay I am toying with. I will try tokeep people updated.
