this is my standard deck that ive used in tourneys and its held up pretty well. im think about changing one of the colors in my blue/black/white deck to red or even green. heres my deck if you all have any suggestions let me know!
I will note that I think the proper place to post such things would be in the Standard Deck Creation subforum. Also, I would recommend using deck tags. Put [.deck] at the beginning of your decklist (without the period), and [/deck] at the end.
Anyway, your deck seems to be a predominantly blue and white spirit tribal deck with a splash of black for the flashback cost of Lingering Souls and Searchlight Geist. All in all, it's a very mid-range deck. Here are a few comments I have:
* I can't come up with an argument to justify moving away from one of your decks colors towards red or green. I think it's fine as is.
* It looks like your deck may suffer from issues with consistently laying down relevant threats at appropriate times. You have one-ofs and two-ofs of cards which you could replace to make three-ofs or four-ofs of other cards in your deck, which would make your deck operate more reliably. On that note, here are
a few ideas:
- I wouldn't recommend running Shriekgeist because its mill ability doesn't benefit you and without that it's just a 1/1 flyer for 2.
- Searchlight Geist's deathtouch ability is expensive, and it's mainly meant to deter attackers. I don't think your deck especially needs the card.
- Demystify can be moved to the sideboard.

Images are awesome, but also 10$ a piece.
Considering the OP's list is kinda mis-matched, I don't think it will fit into the budget ^^
Usual advices :
Try to get more consistency, by getting 4 of the dual lands, Ponder, and best creatures. I thing there is a good guide on budget decks in the ..."budget subforum" ^^ Would be a good start.
i already have 2 PI so buying 2 mor2 wont be a problem. as long as im not spend over $40 for just one card i think i can manage lol. will PI still be in standard? i know theyre m12 but idk if they'll be reprinted or not.
I would reccomend some Midnight Hauntings and take out the Nibilis of the Urn and most of the Geists (except for Dungeon Geists). I'd say you want to go in more of a Token based direction, maybe add a couple Favorable Winds as well. The idea is to have anthems like Intangible Virtue, the Captain, and Winds out which make the spirit tokens from Maunting and Lingering Souls much more powerful. Pumping out two 2/2 or 3/3 vigilant/hexproof fliers with one card is very strong. And definitely put in the Phantasmal Images instead of Cackling Counterpart. Also, up the dual lands count, Glacial Fortress and Drowned Catacomb are fairly cheap right now seeing as they've been reprinted again.

If you took out those cards, you'd have room for another Drogskol Captain, two more Doomed Travelers, and perhaps another Tower Geist or Latch Seeker.

also bonfire is quite the hurt against this without enough antheming.
i have given up on lingering souls/tokens with ratchet bomb in play,
but i like the deck list its pretty slick, i do wonder what the meta is like for your standard tourneys
