Rancor (M13) is pretty awesome on your creatures as it adds damage and doesn't care if the creature is removed. Yeva, Nature's Herald (M13) adds frustration to control players, because you aren't restricted to your turn any longer. So when he goes to kill it, flashing in a creature or two in response can be pretty frustrating.
Sigarda, Host of Herons helps if he's playing a bunch of edict effects, though you need some white for her. Thragtusk (M13) doesn't mind removal too much.
if your worried about counters, wolfir avenger and thrun are both good. not sure if you want to add cavern, since you want to have as many forests as possible

I co-sign this. You need to present better threats and more creatures that don't care about getting removed than he has answers so then removal becomes a moot point.

What then, would be the weakness of an m13-ish mono green deck?
For 2 months, yes. But MC is rotating really soon, and as such M13 is a bit down the road. I'd say that faster aggro decks would give you more problems than dedicated control.
Here is another creature that I have been using quite a bit since his release: Predator Ooze.
He is hard to get rid of, and just keeps coming. Yes, he is a little slow, but with the blessing we are getting in a little enchantment in M13 it turns him into a beast! The Ooze also gets around any removal outside of Tragic Slip (and the like). He just laughs at a miracle'd Bonfire of the Damned.

Evasion and card drawing.
If your green deck is against an aggro deck with evasion, they are probably going to get more damage on you than you get on them.
Card advantage is green's eternal issue, though. You cannot put out more threats than your opponent has answers if they draw 2 cards to your every 1. The only eras in which mono-green was viable was when they had cheap and efficient card drawing.
I don't know yet if mono green will be viable with M13. Evasion isn't very strong right now, but I don't see many good options for either gaining card advantage or for denying card advantage to your opponent.

When has green ever had cheap efficient card drawing?
I'm not saying mono green is great, but aggro decks shouldn't care about card advantage. If you're worried about card advantage in mono green aggro, you're not doing it right.

You should always care about card advantage its how you actually you know win games...Even if its "virtual card advantage" of leaving cards in their hand dead. Its still essential to understand.
The only decks that can eschew card advantage are combo and aggro-combo decks.
Rangers Guile is pretty terrible. IF you play that card in your mono green deck you are trading a card with your opponent and coming out with a 1+/1+ for a turn IF everything goes according to plan. Trading one for one is already something you should not want to do as many decks with answers are also up cards threw things like think twice and friends, or just slowing the game down to go over the top. If they instead have a bunch of sweepers and no targeted removal? You are stuck with that bad card in hand.
Things like strangleroot geist are so great because they are strong threats that are hard to answer 1:1. If your opponent cast say doomblade on it they are spending one card to answer half of a card and the weaker half at that.

When mono-green Stompy ruled Standard, it was on the backs of cards like those.
Green has some card draw now, but I don't know if it's good enough to support a mono-green deck or not. Green Sun's Zenith counts. Triumph of Ferocity is interesting, but I have doubts about whether it's fast and reliable enough. But as others have mentioned, virtual card advantage is good also, and the hexproof creatures are one way to gain that.

Any reccomendations when I play VS a Control B/U Deck? (He's been topping every fnm, it's been annoying)
How about Counters?
Thx. You can include M13 cards since its just around the corner

Mental Misstep turns off Ponder, Tragic Slip, and Gitaxian Probe if he happens to be playing those. Ghost Quarter and Elixir of Immortality stop him from milling you with Nephalia Drownyard, if he's using it as a win condition.
just play 4 strangeroot geist, 4 dungrove elder, and a few thrun, the last trolls.

Thanks, very useful stuff.

Seriously, Wu Humans has an amazing UB Control matchup. It was like that months ago when I played Humans and I believe it's about the same. Take into consideration cards like - Grand Abolisher, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Doomed Traveler, Moorland Haunt, Honor of the Pure, Sword of Feast and Famine, etc. I could go on, but autocarding those got tiring.

They're not drawing cards from your library, some more conditional than others, but they give you card advantage nonetheless.
