After some great suggestions from others the deck has changed a fair amount. Please scroll down to post #15 to view an improved deck. Thanks!
Hi gals and guys!
After getting the chance to play with Restoration Angel and Cloudshift at the Avacyn Restored pre-release I have been loving the blinking effecs, and the possibilities of it. Likewise, Champion of Lambholt is a card that just speaks to me as a player. So, what better thing to do than throw the two together in a deck and see what I can come up with.
First I am going to list the deck, and then throw out some cool interactions with the cards. If anyone has any suggestions or constructed criticisms of the deck I would love to hear it! The deck is still in rough form.
Fiend Hunter + Cloudshift: When used in combination I can manage to exile two of my opponent's creatures with one Fiend Hunter. The trick is to cast Fiend Hunter, and while his ETB trigger is on the stack you cast Cloudshift on your Fiend Hunter. He then is exiled and returns immediately to create another ETB trigger. You can get rid of 2 targets at once.
Cloudshift +Restoration Angel +any other creature: If you cast Cloudshift on the Restoration Angel when she enters the battlefield again her ETB triggers, and you can blink another creature. If you target a splicer it will add 3 +1/+1 counters on Champion of Lambholt and nets you another golem in play.
Cloudshift or Restoration Angel + Fiend Hunter: This allows you to play your Fiend Hunter early to lock down an early threat, but you can later target it with one of the two blinking cards to lock down a larger threat later in the game.
Overall the deck is rather self explanatory. If anyone has any brilliant ideas or insights I would love to hear them.
I like it but I think it could use some hero of bladeholds considering when she atks she will pump your champion 3 more times (the 2 soldier tokens + the +1 power from battle cry if you atk with the champion as well) almost guaranteeing that your creatures will be unblockable.
Thanks for the thoughts. In hindsight I should have taken a bit more time to mull this over in my head. I completely forgot about Hero of Bladehold. It is a much better creature than Master Splicer for the slot.
As for replacing Birds of Paradise with Champion of the Parish my first thought was to use the 2 mana dorks to ramp directly to three mana to start playing the other creatures. But, I can see how having the Champion of the Parish would be the slower yet sturdier choice.
Related to my Birds of Paradise comment, I have been shuffling this deck up and I am not too happy with how the deck gets started when it does not have a mana dork in the opening hand. Without any 2 CMC creatures in the deck it takes off too slow when in this situation.
I think I am going to scrap the deck as it is currently listed, and attempt to get a bit better curve without the assistance of mana dorks. I never intended for the deck to turn into G/W humans, but that is the way it turned out when I selected the cards. I may just look for other humans that help to abuse the blinking effect (i.e. Champion of the Parish).
Ok, time to go back to the drawing board, and rework this out. Thanks again so much for the suggestions!
nearhearth pilgram sucks, and should never be played, how bout thaila, mayor of avabrock, grand abolisher..... any of these ranks so much high than nearheath pilgram its insane..... gather the townsfolk is good tho lol

You know I never even gave the Mayor a thought. When flipping through the cards in my binder I passed him up as a werewolf, but he would actually be an interesting choice to try out in the 2 slot. He gives humans +1/+1 and when he tranforms he starts throwing out tokens to make Champion of Lambholt bigger. I like that idea...thanks!
After some re-tooling I will get the chance to try this deck out tonight with friends.
Part of the problem with this deck is that you don't have very effective ways of protecting Champion of Lambholt. You have blink effects, but this resets her. What about Deranged Outcast for the 2 drop? He'd provide some protection from burn, give you a quick boost if you needed to alpha strike, and his threat of activation can make combat terrible for your opponent, if they can block.
Also, why not Silverblade Paladin? Seems like the type of guy you want to get through consistently. Plus he's champ with Deranged Outcast since Outcast can help reset a bad soulbond, while pumping double strikers (something that Mirran Crusader doesn't work well with).

If I'm not mistaken, the tokens Hero produces are just soilders, not human, so they won't put the Champ.

cant just say champ any more, there are two "champs" in this thread
Lambholt vs parish
Hah! I did not even catch that either. I assumed he was talking about Champion of Lambholt.
Anyway, here is the deck I am going to test tonight with some friends in a couple of hours. I really hope this works out well as this deck seems really enjoyable!
As for protecting the Champion of Lambholt my thoughts are to slot in Apostle's Blessings in the sideboard for opponent's with multiple removal threats. I would just replace the Cloudshifts with them to keep my creatures protected. Maybe it would be a smart move to play those main deck instead of Cloudshift? I think it could work out well as this deck is now turning into a pretty dedicated humans deck with plenty of pumping outside of the blink effects.
After tonight I will definitely have more insight on which way to go with this.
Edit: I did not even think about Cavern of Souls. Do you guys think it would be better to just swap out the Sunpetal Groves for them? The entire creature base in the deck is human with the exception of the three Restoration Angels.

I think that the Cavern of Souls is a great idea for this type of deck. I would swap them with 2 forest and 2 plain so that you don't hinder your mana base by taking out the dual lands.

agreed with above, also i think the idea of switching in to the aposite blessing is better than running it main... now a random thought but what about running tezzeret's gambit in here as like a 3 of? i have no clue what would replace it but we got 8 guys that use counters already + the gavony townships. and i hear aggro deck love card draw
Ok, I had the opportunity to play this deck quite a bit this evening, and I must say it is a complete blast to play! I think I have found my post AVR standard deck. And I must say I think it is the most enjoyable deck I have played since returning to MtG a little over a year ago.
I used the deck list I posted in post 15 except I worked in a play set of Cavern of Souls. I played 11 games with the deck between different friends, and I only lost twice. Of course we all had new decks built up with AVR cards proxied to test things out. Thanks to those that suggested Champion of the Parish and Gather the Townsfolk. Those cards are major when used in conjunction. And throw in Champion of Lambholt in the mix and the deck has the capability of getting brutal fast! I even managed to have 5 mana up one game to cast Fiend Hunter and 2 Cloudshifts in response to the trigger to take out three creatures at once.

Tezzerit's Gambit, hmm. I really cannot think of anything to take out of the deck at the moment to slide these in. The counters getting added from all the creatures, Gather the Townsfolk, blinking, and Gavony Township seems to be plenty. I am not sure the extra proliferate would be needed that much.
I am definitely going to be playing this deck for some time. I think I will play it with others for a week or so and then take the time to write up a thorough deck primer.
Thanks again so much to all of you for the suggestions!

4x Birds of Paradise
4x Avacyn's Pilgrim
4x Champion of Lambholt
4x Blade Splicer
3x Fiend Hunter
3x Borderland Ranger
3x Master Splicer
4x Restoration Angel
4x Oblivion Ring
4x Cloudshift
Lands (23):
4x Razorverge Thicket
4x Sunpetal Grove
2x Gavony Township
7x Forest
6x Plains
The deck is designed to abuse the blinking effect of Cloudshift and Restoration Angel. When this is used in combination with Champion of Lambholt she becomes big, and makes all my creatures unblockable. Every time a Blade Splicer or Master Splicer come into play the Champion of Lambholt receives 2 +1/+1 counters.
Fiend Hunter and Oblivion Ring gives me 7 cards to address any of my opponent's threats.
Other tricks in the deck include:
Fiend Hunter + Cloudshift: When used in combination I can manage to exile two of my opponent's creatures with one Fiend Hunter. The trick is to cast Fiend Hunter, and while his ETB trigger is on the stack you cast Cloudshift on your Fiend Hunter. He then is exiled and returns immediately to create another ETB trigger. You can get rid of 2 targets at once.
Cloudshift or Restoration Angel + Blade Splicer or Master Splicer: Targeting either splicer causes it to come into play and create another golem token. If the Champion of Lambholt is on the battlefield she will receive two more +1/+1 counters.

Champion of Lambholt says creature, not human. Any creature that comes into play pumps her.
