Just curious if anyone has tried to combine the two in a deck? I just opened up a box of DKA and pulled 4 Drogskulls and I already have my Geist of Saint Trafts and I was wondering if anyone was making a deck like this.
As they do share colour and type, ofc. they can run in the same deck. However i havn't seen that many spirit decks with the reaver in them. Sure, he's a great card, but it rarely hits the table.
4 reavers in the same deck, nonono, as far as i can tell- only possible in a 'reanimator deck'
I'm pretty sure he's talking about Drogskul Captain not Drogskul Reaver. I've seen a few decks with both but it really clogs up your 3 drop spot trying to run Captaind, Geists and Lingering Souls. (assuming you aren't running swords).
I've tried it. You can't really run GoST without taking away from the strengths of the spirit-tribal version. If you want to do it, the best plan I've found is cutting the 2 Dungeon Geists for 2 GoST. I can't, however, say that I think it makes the deck better.

with corrosive gail running around and removal on the up rize this is a good option. i run them on my esper listas does great please attaching a sword to it is gg.
I run 2 in my list....I am split on them. I think I will try fnm without them this week. There are a few reasons I am not really convinved on him:
1: dies to slagstorm/whipflare etc. Our deck is already hurt by this big time.
2: the deck is aggressive enough without him
3: I would rather run more removal/counters in his place.
He just seems like a winmore to me...if I am already losing, I usually just cast him and chump.
