I was wondering if anyone has tested the 2 nonlame swords in sideboard (or even mainboard) for certain matchups. War and Peace could be nice vs UW Humans, TSteel, and RDW for the lifegain and protection. FeastnFamine seems nice vs Wolf Run and Mono-B Infect, who both seems very susceptible to discard and more mana = awesomeness. Has anyone tried it out?
I'm assuming you're mainly going to equip it to the snapcasters? I don't know, 5 mana seems like a lot to eat up when it could be better used to thin out your library to your win conditions.

Snap, Blade Splicer, Imaging something early. It was just an idea I thought should be tossed out. Low numbers of early game creatures is a problem.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. A small number of creatures to equip early does seem to be a problem. I would see a need for feast and famine more than war and peace though. Running some Timely Reinforcements will help with your life until you can stabilize and get your fatties out. The extra mana from feast and famine would be great for being able to flashback more alchemies and think twices. Hmm...you got me thinking now.
Ironically when I started my deck building it was with the sword (and geist)... then I added snappy, ...
The main issue I encountered is: the deck wanted to be "draw-go" style, and you cannot do that with the sword, the best time you can play you sword is turn 5 technically, since you'll like to want your mana to be open on turn 3, 4 for a counter, kill spell and so on (unless u play liliana on turn 3, but she's a threat by herself which makes a big difference).
To me the sword fits better in tap out decks.
