Anthony was pretty foolish not to suspect the Elspeth game one when the opponent wasn't doing anything else. Could have 2-0'ed with proper Tumble Magnet'ing.

Agreed. The GW players hand in the first two games was pretty weak. No plays other than dork til 5 mana when there are only a few cards in the deck that cost 5 or more. The Forgemaster player could have easily punished this. Game 3 was a lot more typical hand for GW, but then again it would be more typical for the Forgemaster player not to get stuck on lands and be able to Slagstorm or burn the Dork/Crusader, buying atleast a turn or 2 making for a more interesting game.

Would it be stalling to restart the game when you clearly are winning or presenting lethal? Beacuse it would be pretty awesome if he did just to rub it in a little bit, I think if I was up a game and new I was on a feature match it might cross my mind...
Not to excuse some of these play mistakes, because they're pretty terrible, but we're watching these games with perfect information behind the comfort of our computers. That's a fairly easy position to start criticizing play, especially when a good majority of this thread have never been asked to play in a feature match anywhere ever.

There's a reason a lot of us aren't in feature matches, i.e., we devote our time to other things / hobbies / professions; and thus, we are open to criticism in those fields.
The misplays are occuring regardless of what we see versus what they see. They are just playing poorly.
Do remember a lot of the complaints people have, were during early rounds, i personally don't expect to see the amazing moves until the later rounds where bad people should have been weeded out.
Sacher actually did miss lethal there... After timely, MJ was at 18, then he cast gut shot and went to 16, but the combat damage from turn was 2 trample from titan and 2 from sadbot. MJ WAS at 12. I'm really surprised Sacher missed that.
Thank god he didn't miss the second one.

Thanks to Argetlam from Hakai Studios for the awesome sig.
The plays of Sacher just made me wanna puke... That was awful... Every sane guy would've saved the primeval titan, but ok that could be open to discussion. Missing the simplest lethal ever after that... I'm speechless. Even worse, he still won that match.
Sphinx is really good. Control will play it and be able to protect him just fine, hes a much better finisher then Jwar Isle and thats saying a lot considering how good he alone is. Bazzar Trader.dec now has 16 threaten effects. Thats really, really, really, really good. Really good.
Apparently Sacher is running on very little sleep, i wont fault im to much if its actually true, and not an excuse. And on him winning the round, he was on the play, got a turn 4 titan, combined with the fact wolf run is fairly lenient with play mistakes, I'm not surprised he won.
As for Michael Jacob, i think he has been playing pretty amazingly.

And what was with that Mono-red player using Lavamancer preemptively instead of waiting to use it on the inkmoths?
I'm experiencing the same feeling, to the point of not even being able to watch.
