I've been having a play around with this deck for a while now, since innistrad came out. This is as fast as I can get it without splashing any other colour into it. A lot of people have said that this won't be an archetype in standard until we see what Dark Assension or the 3rd block of Innistrad gives us, and they're probably right. As it is, it's probably still not fast enough for a competative play, but if anyone else has any ideas, throw them down. I'd like for this to get a bit of discussion.
The idea here is to get down your Tormented Soul turn one, and use its unblockable ability to open the floodgates for your bloodthirst creatures. Lifelink is there to help. Pretty simple, but it can be very destructive.
*Please note that I'm going to edit the first post to show this deck, so ignore the first few posts on this thread.
If yo are going to rvn Blade of the Bloodchief I'd highly svggest Bloodthrone Vampire and Pawn of Ulamog, each pawn gives yov a free token to sac for Bloodthrone when ANY of yovr creatvres leave the battlefield for the graveyard, so extra +2/+2 for Bloodthrone's ability, AND if she's eqvipped with the blade, thats more +1/+1 covnters. And i apologize for the vs in place of U's, my U key is broken atm.
Also, to get yovr Bloodthrones and Pawns, bvy the Vampire Onslavght Event Deck if yovr LGS has it. it has 4 of each.
Reviving this thread! I think a control-ish approach might work well for mono black vamps as there aren't any cheap and good vamps like in Zendikar. Will give this deck a swing and see how it fares.

Mono black vampires will NOT be an archetype, at least until 2/3 or 3/3 sets in ISD block are out.
MAYBE B/R Vamps, but there aren't enough playable black vampires for this to work.
