BR Vamps. It's win% is not wonderful at this point, however it's not facing CawBlade any more. It's not facing Stoneforge Mystic, which had it clearly out-classed wherever they crossed paths. It has the tools to be very good in this meta, since it can handle both of the combo lists likely to emerge in Valakut and SplinterTwin and it should have a decent game against opposing aggro.
Tempered Steel and Soul Sisters both present challenges for BR Vamps however I think they are surmountable.
this deck is stupid fast and a lot of artifact hate is gone because of no more caw
Bad reasoning. If the deck really is that good, then artifact hate will definitely come back. You can expect Creeping Corrosions, Manic Vandals and Into the Cores. The meta would eventually adapt.

i didnt say long term, just after bannings it will be the better of the aggro decks
As a "Hawkward" (hate the deck name) player, I'm probably biased, but I still really like the deck. If people start boarding in Creeping Corrosion, I'll continue to win with Infect.

i'm gonna vote for Soul Sisters. i've been playing a non-SFM build of that deck for the last month and its been great. SFM was simply not a core component in the deck. its easily replaced by stuff like Hero of Bladehold and the rest of the Soul Sisters deck is still excellent.
I'd say RDW. I've only been playing it for a week now and went 4-0 and 3-1 at FNMs. I stomped on Caw Blade with it (burn your Mystic - gl dropping batterskull or equipping sword to something before you die), but even with that gone the deck is still good. With all of the burn it beats other aggro decks pretty good, it can outrace Kut and Twin, and is as good as ever against control. Also Koth is insane. I tried Tempered Steel for a long time, I found that it was great at times but not consistent and definitely not resilient enough. I haven't tried Sisters, but I'd name that as a runner-up. But with Inquisitor Exarchs for reach.

Monoblack infect. Phyrexian crusader is GG against your silly RDW.
doubtful. its a 3 drop so its already way behind relative to the pace red decks work at. and as far as blocking goes, i don't think there's much concern. its not like there's a shortage of artifacts that are capable of neutralizing blockers.
Herp derp Panic Spellbomb herp derp Shrine of Burning Rage
Not that those are on par with Dismember, but we've got plenty of options.
Besides, once you tap out for your Crusader, we can just start aiming all our burn at your face / other creatures :3

Which (if any) aggro decks do you guys think will be competitive in a splinter twin/ valakut post ban meta?
Vampires? Goblins? Hawkward/tempered steel?
Thanks!

Right here. I too am thinking about going Hawkward.

Yup. Just look through the thread because people came up with different builds than what was just played at pro tour paris. Some good stuff in there.
Have fun!
