Tyy I think you should up your Corpse Cur count to 4 if you running Throne of Geth. I think another addition I would like to add here is Semblance Anvil. Ok if this card does hit the board Necropede, Plague Myr, and Ichorclaw Myr are free. Corpse Cur & Core Prowler are now 2...Piston sledge for 1!!! Free Throne of Geths and Contagion Clasps. I wanna kno what other people think of adding this card to this deck. I think this could be the boost it needs
I treated my build closer to Boros with Affinity Elements. I ended up running Big Red last week so I don't have first hand experience with the deck, however it did bring him to third, crushing a RUG decklist.
I didn't end up liking it much but it was really fast. I ended up changing to a slightly slower version but it felt a little more stable. This is what he wants to run this FnM instead.
This is my idea on white / artifact infect deck. This is much more aggro then the other lists seen in this discussion, and honestly I prefer it this way Expecting comments!
I would drop the teetering peeks as they will probably just end up screwing you more often than not and replace with 4 more plains. Ajani is great as he will give another +1/+1 counter and vigilance every turn
Oust seems better (close to strictly better) than condemn for your deck. You shouldn't really care about creatures attacking you; rather, you want to get blockers out of the way. If you're worried about decks like Kuldotha Red, sideboard Condemns, but they're not good enough for the main deck.
I wouldn't worry too much about walkers. Even the Revokers seem like they may be too reactive for an aggro deck. Obviously, Gideon is going to be problems if they get that far. To that end, my best suggestion is splashing blue for Venser since unblockability is actually a sweet ability in your deck, and you can blink Gideon when you need to get around the annoying +2. However, Seachrome Coasts and a Glacial Fortress or two will mess with your Armored Ascensions, so it comes at a cost.
Also, I think Throne of Geth may be better in the deck than Contagion Clasp. Often, it seems like you'll only need to proliferate once or twice to seal a victory, and Throne does this for 2 mana instead of 6. The -1/-1 counter isn't nearly as relevant in standard right now as it is in block, where Clasp is a house.
Those are my suggestions. This deck has run through my head a few times but decks that basically rely on one card (Tempered Steel) and don't have any draw or filtering, or work off a control shell, aren't really my cup of tea. Anyway, good luck, seems like it could be an explosive deck.
I really like Mighty Leap actually. I was browsing gatherer for combat tricks and I must have just passed over that without thinking about it.. As far as mono-W aggro goes I can't think of any changes I'd make. How has Ajani been? Do you usually have 2 or more creatures out to benefit from his -1?
As far as the sideboard goes, I'm loving the Armored Ascensions, they seem like they'd be amazing in a mono-G or similar matchup. The rest seems pretty standard. Here's my sideboard for reference:
Most of it isn't relevant for you as it's for Mystic or blue. Here's my updated list btw: (Experimenting with bonehoard, I have dreams of swinging with an equipped Inkmoth and saccing creatures with throne or piston sledge to make it bigger /magicalchristmasland)
Mirrorworks is too slow to be relevant and I don't understand how Myr Turbine helps at all.. The deck is Tempered Steel Infect.
My friend and I have just started a new Magic blog and my first post is an analysis of this deck. You can check it out at manamorphose.wordpress.com. I apologize for the rudimentary layout, I'm putting something better together at the moment.
I've been thinking about running a build using Grand Architect to play more dudes and pump them +1/+1. Ichor Wellspring seems like it would fit in quite nicely in such a build. I'll see if I can put together a list. Are there any other blue utility creatures that would be useful (and that don't have too much power so they don't go to waste in combat)?
Solid creature list with the Juggernaut playing as a more than solid finisher. If the opposition has managed to keep the board clear up to that point the naut can come in and finish the game.
Marshal's Anthem might seem an odd choice but playing as a pseudo Tempered Steel with the added benefit of recursion late game is more useful than I ever really expected.
Otherwise the creature and spell suite is fairly normal.
The sideboard is normal excluding my odd choice in Frantic Salvage and Choking Fumes. Both are tech against the aforementioned matchups i've been playing against most, control and kuldotha red. Frantic Salvage lets me recover in the control match up, potentially getting more threats than the opposition can remove/counter.
Opinions? Additions? How many of each? I've never built a sideboard before. This is my first T2 deck since Mirage.
Necropede is probably the best artifact infect creature available. I suggest taking out any of your other creatures for it, signal pest being the best choice.
Was fun to beat people with Armored Ascension, however the deck was usually outclassed if it didn't win by turn 5 or 6. Earliest win was on turn 4.
Was beaten by Valakut, an esper Tezzeret control deck and a G/w Eldrazi deck.
Defeated a U/W Grand Architect/Venser deck and an Esper 'Caw-go' variant.
Armored Ascension usually won me games when it came out.
I think for Tempered Steel Infect, Condemn needs to be an auto-include over Oust. Oust is cool, but they are getting it back fast. I really like the proliferation interaction with core prowler and throne of geth. That is a seemingly fast clock. Double proliferation FTW?
The thing about Oust is that it can remove a blocker whereas Condemn cannot and the goal is to get them some poison counters asap because then you can proliferate. And since they're on a 10 poison counter clock vs your 20 life clock, taking some damage isn't a huge deal.
What about running I ran against blue white control and aggro elves and did fine with this. Get enough creatures out to block sac to thrones so the creatures are still blocked, Then tap mana for clasp minimum 2 prolifs a turn. With the prowler you can get 2 just from the one sac. Against u/w control, just get them to roughly four counters then start sacking if you have two thrones and a clasp. I got 4 counters on the end of their turn then on mine just sacked my two thrones to themselves and prolif for game. The tempered steel isnt really a focus point but rather a scare tactic. i mean if you can win that way by all means but you gotta have the alternate win condition and i have found prolif to be rather good. Opinions???

hey guys. i play a couple of builds in extended, and both work fantastically well.
few notes:
RED white.
it's a planeswalker-fueled version. runs on gaining value from a combination of ajani vengeant and tumble magnets to keep the board under control, while dropping cheap threats and pumping them with tempered steel.
it's worth noting that Ajani represents the only red spell in the deck, so it's easy to splash for.
try it out. vengeant is a house.
sideboard can transform the deck into mono-white, and also has a bunch of small tricks and fillers to add control or aggro.
Plains : Obv, white deck.
Inkmoth Nexus: Obv, infect deck
Sejiri Steppe: Provides protection/evasion.
Ichorclaw Myr: pumps itself, great 2 drop infect
Necropede: CA on a stick + Steel = sick
Salvage Scout: recursion
Corpse Cur: Recursion + body
Signal Pest: Global Pump to an attacking force
Journey to Nowhere: Removal
Oust: removes blockers, what's life?
Dispense Justice: instant speed removal, if just shy of metalcraft remember inkmoth's can become artifacts at instant speed if they're untapped.
Day of Judgement: Global reset, not sure of what to put here, but i like the option of a hard reset
Tempered Steel: Point of deck, need i say more?
Contagion Clasp: -1/-1 counters, + Proliferate, great card, as i'd rather not have to sack critters to proliferate.
Ajani Goldmane: -1 all the way, the rest of his abilities dont matter. Regularly have the option for 2 or more creatures + vigilance.

How do decks like this deal with Creeping Corrosion?
elspeth, knight errant.
seriously it's an awesome card. all three abilities are relevant, and the second is both a + ability and the best for infect.
better than ajani at any rate.
Sorry, Elspeth is a beast but not legal in Standard.

Frantic Salvage lets me recover in the control match up, potentially getting more threats than the opposition can remove/counter.
Seriously, try it.
Choking Fumes is surprisingly good in the Kuldotha Red matchup. Goblin Bushwhacker and Goblin Wardriver along with Signal Pest often leave a lot X/1 tokens swinging in for big hits, usually spot on turn three.
Choking Fumes can often kill the whole legion, and if it doesn't, it always softens the blow allowing for an easy recovery.
4 Signal Pest
4 Ichorclaw Myr
4 Plague Myr
4 Core Prowler
4 Corpse Cur
4 Tempered Steel
4 Throne of Geth
4 Repel the Darkness
4 Oust
2 Journey to Nowhere
4 Inkmoth Nexus
18 Plains
Right off the bat I'm considering swapping the Signal Pest for Necropede MB. Could I have some opinions on that?
Taking a look through the thread here's what I'm thinking SB.
Choking Fumes seems like a good addition for proliferate purposes.
Emerge Unscathed might be helpful to dodge removal.
Luminarch Ascension would be good against control.
Contagion Clasp is a card I'd like to find room for but I don't know if it's SB material.
Leyline of Sanctity would really put a damper on burn/discard.
Opinions? Additions? How many of each? I've never built a sideboard before. This is my first T2 deck since Mirage.
Necropede is probably the best artifact infect creature available. I suggest taking out any of your other creatures for it, signal pest being the best choice.

first off you need 4 inkmoth nexus in here for sure and second I would drop the galvanizers for some more removal like condemn or oust
