Hmm, that's weird. I'm looking at all of the decks in the format that are any kind of good and there are 2 of 7 that aren't aggro. I live in a world where a lot of people are ALSO running Jund. And, I hate to tell you, if you can't deal with their threats you're going to lose. But your Jund record is 3-1-0, so my point is henceforth proven. call me when you go back in time, make the changes, and win that match. Until then, I'd recommend playing where there's a more competitive meta and adding more removal.
Based on results, 2 Terminate and 3 Mealstrom Pulses are the standard for Jund decks right now. See Worlds and all of the SCG5k results. We shall see how this changes this weekend though.
Also... did you just say you want 4 Pulses against Jund? Pulse is always the first card I board out in the mirror.
It beats everything IN jund. What in the world would you bring in for it?
[edit]
Just a reminder: My recommendation for the Pulses and the Terminates are designed for persecutor Jund, that being the topic of discussion and all.
You're opinion is now void because of the fact that you keep Maelstrom Pulse in for the mirror. Also, having to have removal such as Pulse to get rid of Abyssal Persecutor makes him that much worse, considering Pulse is one of your worst cards for the mirror. Before you try to jump on someones ass, make sure you know what you're talking about, k?
Lol, you are a nobody with losses on their record. Stop trying to look like an internet hardass all the while looking pathetic. I know Persecutor Jund is strictly worse than a typical jund build, but in this build you run 3 terminate and 4 Pulse. Before YOU try jumping on someone's ass about something you have only clearly borrowed your opinion on from someone else, you might want to learn to read the facts. Please refrain from trolling if you're not going to post on topic and are only here to insult people that ARE on topic.
Oh, and feel free to post your Jund build for everyone here to see. I sure that'll make for a good time.
So I took top 4, 3 FNMs in a row with 1 win and 2 second places with my abyssal jund build (at least 30 players at every FNM, usually 6 rounds with 45+ people) Here it is.
Board:
1x terminate
4x bloodwitch
4x ruinblasters
1x collar (for the heavy control decks- equip collar on my man land 4tw)
3x jund charm
2x death mark
My hardest matchups have been agressive white weenie aggro with a brave the elements for the win, but usually i can take away all their card advantage with blightnings and pulses on their honors. The collar is the best combo card with abyssal i have ever seen. Usually matches go like this:
1. savage
2. collar
3. blightning
4. abyssal
5. equip collar, swings, be at 26 life, sprouting
and from then on just play the field. two swings with abyssal with the collar on him is devastating. if they path him, great, that's just one less path for my sproutings. I'm not one to seriously justify this deck, but I have been doing EXTREMELY well with it. It beats the mirror in every match I have played at FNM in the top 8 jund-jund mirror matches. Maybe its just luck, but I like it.
I think there is an argument for Abysal Persecutor in Jund and Vampires, but neither of those decks really need him. I set out to build a MBC deck and couldn't even fit him into that one (used vampires instead.)
The only deck that I built that I think fully needs him and can make him useful is my B/W aggro build:
So far this is my A.P. deck. I run MBC vampires and this. This deck isn't as versitile against the meta as my black deck because it dosen't run Mind Sludge, I win every game I resolve it, but it's good.
A.P. and DoJ both make each other a little bit better in this build also.
What about the new U/W deck that just came out of the Pro tour?
That's exactly what I was going to ask. How does jund fair with UW and Naya Zoo emerging? How should the deck evolve?

I think Tectonic Edge is going to have a huge impact. That U/W deck runs a full set, plus with all the anti-Jund spells the deck runs, I'd say they have a favourable match-up against Jund. But again, the edge might force Jund to play lower casting cost spells and more hand disruption. But what is the card that tops Jund's curve and isn't too expensive to cast? Bloodbraid Elf is amazing but it certainly isn't the game ender or finisher. We can't run Broodmate Dragon anymore, or even rely on man-lands to finish the games because of Tectonic Edge.
What Jund needs is a legitimate threat. Like Jace, something your opponent has to deal with right away before things get out of hand. Master of the Wild Hunt had this quality, but he's not good enough because he dies to everything including Earthquake. Abyssal Persecutor is huge but his drawback matters. Until Jund finds that cheap legitimate threat (4cc is ideal, especially after a turn two ramp) to work alongside Bloodbraid Elf, it's going to take a backseat to Jace control decks.
Ummm, top 8 at PT:SD has no Jace control decks and 3 Jund decks, which I heard had no new tech.
First of all, top 8 is determined with the constructed and limited results combined. Secondly, Jund was by far the most played deck. And some pros just don't care about breaking formats.
No Broodmates in Jund is a bit of a stretch... if anything, the answer to Tectonic Edge would be Grim Discovery. Getting back a much needed dual/man/triland and say... BBE is big. Being a bad cascade hurts it a little, though. Pithing Needle might be big against U/W. Jace, Colonnade, and Edge would suffer
i side in charms. i think its pretty solid sometimes.
theres no need to remove the graveyard.
but you can save leeches or dragons.
on nighthawk its ridiculous!
very often i see myself sweeping ruinblaster and BBEs.
it gets rid of saps and SGC no prob.

"Hah! Banefire? Real men cycle Resounding Thunder."
Jund mirror is all about being aggresive and early board position. Max out your stags, thranix, ruinblaster, bloodbraid. Also because of ruinblasters its really hard to get to 6 mana and once you do it is probably too late. So you should take out the dragons in the matchup.
So you should take out the dragons in the matchup.
God please do not do this. Having Broodmate is so powerful. The token blocks GSS, both dragons are stronger then any other creature in Jund, and you have an 8 point life swing after all of your burn. Taking these out is a BAD idea. The Japanese have packed 4 Broodmate for the past 5 months, and your sitting there telling me we need to take them out?
Your early game has to change, I agree, but do not sacrifice game tide swinging finishers.

No, no they are not. Broodmate Dragon is an amazing finisher and its evasion and bigger body makes it much better than sgc. There is a reason why there has never been a winning list without Broodmate, but their have been some without sgc.
Gortez:
4 Deathmark
4 Great Sable Stag
1 Maelstrom Pulse
3 Master of the Wild Hunt
1 Pithing Needle
2 Terminate

i don't run jund, but my friend does, and let me tell you that the only way you will have a chance against white weenie (perhaps against other white decks also, i only run WW), is to run 3x malakir bloodwitch side. so you should probably forgo both of those sideboards and make your own, unless your already maining a few witches.

No, while he can be a game changer in the mirror... relying on a specific card in a rare situation is a TERRIBLE idea.
4x Persecutor

3x Terminate
3x Basilisk Collar
4x Blightning
4x Lightning Bolt
