Since they've put in traditional ranked on mtga, I'm sure that bo1 ranked is going to be 100% rdw, so this will be my goto if I decide for quick games. I did enter my list into a Bo3 event and the few matches I ran against control I lost game 1, but won the matches. Dawn of Hope is where it's at, my friends.

Details please. Dawn of Hope seems painfully slow. Is this a main deck choice too?
I run one main, namely for card advantage. I'm referring to versus control.

Interesting to note that this version plays all expensive spells with no early interaction.
The top 3 finishers at this event were
1 Mono Red Aggro
2 Mono Blue Tempo
3 Esper Control

Any cards that you're thinking of specifically @kpal?
Also, has anyone tried Arguels Blood Fast as card advantage vs control, and maybe some help stabilising vs aggro? Obviously you'd need enough creatures to sac if you were to use the flip side, but it could be alright.
The changes would be to drop all creatures and Karn, Scion of Urza. And replace them with three to four each of Kaya, Orzhov Usurper and Gideon Blackblade as the finishers. Gideon would be nothing more than a 4/4 indestructible beater.
Oath of Kaya would be an include as well. liliana's triumph too. and the despark
This is going to be a very popular deck soon. More midrang/control than pure control.

I do love the new cards and possibilities for BW Control, but I don't know if you could rely solely on those 2 as finishers. Gideon Blackblade would seem to be better in an aggro-type or midrange deck that had other creatures; standing alone, he doesn't protect himself against opposing creatures attacking him and any random exile effect would get rid of him.

This is one of the primary reasons that I have been off of this strategy since its inception: lack of quality finishers. God-Eternal Oketra is a possibility. But here again there is no real way to maximize her potential.
As always, suggestions are welcome.

Lyra Dawnbringer, Angel of Grace, Doom whisperer, Seraph of the Scales, Etc.
Yeah relying on one big creature is sub optimal. I mean for fun I like playing around with Vampire Decks but as a serious competitive deck its lacking.
Yeah, I have played those. And they all die instantly.
All big creatures die instantly. That is kinda the nature of standard. Even the hexproof ones are easily killable now. Are you looking for a orzohv token shell? Cause that would be doable too but not as a control build.

Edit: I misread oath of kaya...card is garbage.
