With the release of Amonkhet we will have the tools to create a deck with all instant speed responses. This is my first draft. I will be picking up the cards and testing the deck in the coming weeks.
My plan was counter the main token producers. Embalm and flashback get cut off by the exile effects. Also wrath and mass bounce in the board if they go too wide.
All of those are instant speed and are played in the current control decks out there. It would seem to me that you choose some sub-standard cards (Ulamog's Nullifier, Comparative Analysis, Unsubstantiate) in the place of these more common, stronger cards. Glimmer is better than Analysis (even if you Surge it) because Glimmer lets you dig up to 4 cards deep. Disallow is better than the Nullifier because it doesn't require cards in exile and allows you to respond to other threats (can counter Crewing or a planeswalker ult, for instance). You may also want to consider an extra Engulf in the MB

This is all 100% true. I'd add that Negate is a maindeck worthy card in a world of game-ending Planeswalkers and Vehicles, and Censor just seems better than Anticipate as far as a cheap spell that can draw you deeper at instant speed if you need it while providing some relevant interaction.
You seem to be doing black purely for Anguished and Nullifier, but Nullifier is terrible. If you aren't intending to run more black spells (all the above mentioned cards + Yahenni's Expertise and sideboard Scarab Feasts) I would consider dropping it entirely and running maindeck Blessed Alliance. I absolutely think Esper works and the mana is fine; just a consideration.
I adore Hieroglyphic Illumination but unless Drake Haven is part of your win condition, it probably isn't worth running over Glimmer of Genius. I'd drop all the illuminations to go to a full 4 Glimmers and then maybe a single tech-y Pull from Tomorrow which is bad with Gearhulk but amazing as a late-game reload. Commit is also a worthy late-game consideration imo. And of course going to 3 or even 4 Gearhulks as your endgame couldn't hurt either. Fatcaster Mage is good.
I'd probably maindeck a single sweeper (Fumigate, most likely) so that you have something to draw to against go-wide aggro decks.
