Hey guys. I have been working in this deck for weeks. The idea is simple: exploit the modules of kaladesh: + +
That is the basic combo, that can put a lot of servos and a lot of +1/+1 counters (and a lot of energy) but there is also other combo: +
I know this is not a immediate win combo and I know there are smaller more effective combos in the meta (copy cat) but I find this deck very fun to play and also even if you don’t have all the combo pieces there is a lot of powerful interactions. For example Bristling Hydra is one of the best cards because it can trigger any of the modules at least once and it can trigger Animation Module any time you have energy and protects itself.
That’s the idea of the deck: go for the combo and meanwhile try to defend (or even win) with cards with synergy. It’s biggest weakness are other combo decks because it doesn’t have much removal in main and is very hard to sideboard because every piece is important.
I have test it against a lot of kitchen table and tier 2 decks but not a lot of competitive tier one decks. Still I think it has potential to grow. What you guys think?
I'm not a fan of most of the modules, but that Fabrication Module is pretty insane, and it doesn't need the other 2 modules to do crazy things all by itself. All it needs are creatures that can generate energy every turn, then the +1/+1 counters fall like rain! I don't have a deck with this feature, but I've seen a couple of them online using creatures like Glint-Sleeve Siphoner, Aethergeode Miner, etc. It basically goes like this:
With Fab Mod in play, cast Siphoner, get an energy, put counter on siphoner.
next turn, attack with siphoner, put counter on siphoner.
repeat
repeat
repeat!
Siphoner gets so big so fast it's incredibly hard to deal with. Miner works the same way, except if your opponent finds a way to deal with it, you can blink and save it. Skyship Plunderer is another such creature. It can get out of hand really really fast.
I didn't consider Glint-Sleeve Siphoner, Aethergeode Miner because they are not on color but now that I see them they look very strong. Maybe I could try them taking red out but Whirler Virtuoso is too good, specially with 2 or 3 Decoction Module
yeah, different modules work better with different creatures. Decoction module is definitely best with Whirler Virtuosos. Glint Sleeve Siphoner is probably the best with Fabrication module. Then, Aethergeode Miner is nuts when they're both out. I don't think they all belong in 1 deck though.
Finally, if you do decide to go the route of using Siphoner + Fab Mod, then you really want to add in Winding Constrictor. Winding Constrictor should probably be splashed into any deck that's making +1/+1 counters though lol.

I hope that's helpful.
