I saw SaffronOlive pilot a similar deck, which he listed at 55$, and was interested in it because it is centred around my favourite card, Paradox Engine.
I made some tweaks, played Game Day on Saturday (2-2) and was pleased with how the deck played. I played 3 BG decks (Delirium, aggro and energy) and felt well positioned against them. The biggest mistake was not playing maindeck bounce spells to slow down my opponents. I made some slight changes to the list below and won gameday on Sunday, beating RG Pummeler, Temur Aetherworks and Jeskai Copycat Control.
The biggest change from SaffronOlive's list was adding 2 Coax from the Blind Eternities. Three reasons for their inclusion:
1. I don't want to auto-lose from having Aetherflux Reservoir exiled.
2. Sometimes the deck makes a lot of mana but can't dig for Aetherflux Reservoir or a Paradox Engine.
3. With so many important pieces to the combo, there is a limit on the number of cards you can sideboard in. I believe these 6 spots would not be used.
So far, I've tutored every card except Kozilek, and they have turned around the games much more than a Glimmer of Genius.
I would like to find more space for Baral's Expertise and Metallic Rebuke. These cards are very efficient on mana and really good draws. Expertise won me 2 games.
I am finding it very hard to make cuts. Ideas?
Also, I'd be open to ideas involving splashing a second color or some more expensive cards. My deck is not meant to be budget.
Not even one Inspiring Statuary in the deck? With Paradox Engine and the Statuary you could potentially cast Ulamog for literally nothing. You could also cast things like Elder Deep-Fiend for their non-emerge costs and pay nothing to get their effects.

It's an interesting idea, however most of the deck consists of artifacts or cards with Improvise. Trust me, when you want to cast an Eldrazi, you have enough mana to do it!
The main gameplan is to go to the dome with Reservoir, and Statuary doesn't help that plan.
One of my friends managed to pull a top 4 finish and a win on gameday with a somewhat similar build. Both days had a nice show of about 25ish players, I think saturday had over 40, but I only attended sunday to play EDH during byes and see what standard goodies I could get my hands on.
He ran Baral, Chief of Compliance and Baral's Expertise in a heavy permission/Cheat out strong 4CMC approach, and had pretty much the same wishboard as you did. I don't remember the exact count for each. But I remember one mardu vehicles player complaining about Expertise into Niblis of frost locking him out of the game, and how TKS was devastating with expertise. Last thursday he texted me asking if I could lend him my Drownyard Temple playset for the weekend and If I was interested in selling him my foil Mirrorpool, only got to talk to him for a little bit, I believe the Temples were there to pitch to Baral and get some C later on, I offered him my unsubstantiate but he said they didn't interact well with baral and was gonna use Just the wind instead. I asked him for his decklist yesterday, he sent me a picture.

Hope that sparks some ideas I think mono U is actually quite strong atm, and just needs the right deck or meta shift to make a strong performance.
Sweet deck!
I don't think mine uses Expertise as well. I can really see how a turn 4 expertise + Thought Knot could be devastating.
