Hey everyone, here is a list I have been working on over the past few days. It is inspired by Sam Black's list over on SCG. I have made several changes to both his main and side which I think really helped push the deck in the right direction. Before I share the list here are a few notes about some of the cards:
Implement of Combustion: Great 1 drop that can stop Saheeli Combo in its track. It also cantrips and if you have sly Requisitioner out generates a token. It also helps you have a huge intruder turn as you can get it back with a tawler activation. Going Intruder sac Implement, sac Servo Schematic get back implement, sac tawler get back Servo is practically 20 points of damage.
Bomat Courier: I really want to love this card in the deck, but honestly if you don't have it in your opening hand it loses a lot of value. Some times in the late game it can be a great 2-1 as you can play it empty handed and use it as a cantrip and token generator. However, I think he has to be a 4 of in the deck as there are not many 1 cmc artifact creatures I want to be playing except for maybe hope of ghirupar.
Herald of Anguish: A super bomb that can come out on t4 and just wreck. I don't want to heavily invest in the improvise mechanic so 2 of him and 4 sly is enough as you don't become so dependent on curving artifacts on turn 1-3.
Intruder/Trafficker: Great sac outlet that lets you take advantage of all of the servo tokens. Both also offer different angles of attack which makes answering both of them difficult to do (e.g fatal push stops intruder, but not trafficker and grasp stops trafficker, but not Intruder)
Servo Schematic: Insane value especially with sly on the board and it also helps ramp a sly or herald out.
Scrapheap: Awesome 2-drop that plays very well with key to the city and intruder/trafficker.
Key to the City: Allows you to push through board stalls and works very well with improvise. Also allows you to trade excess lands and dead draws with relevant spells in the late game.
Sidebaord
Kalitas: Ups the curve and helps fight creature strategies
Transgress: Helps keep control in check
Hope of Ghirupar: Excellen vs control or sorcery speed decks... can be used with tawler/pia's revolution to "soft" time walk opponents.
Pia's Revolution: Great against artifact and creature hate.
Reckless Fireweaver: Great blocker and combos nicely with sly...effective against aggro and board stall
Spot Removal: Pretty standard
