I am working on a list of Boros Equipment + Ally theme too. But I am not sure should I post it here or a new thread or in the Human post.
If your deck has a Human theme, and Burn Spells (that can target both creatures and players), then you can post your deck here, of course. It may well be different than mine, with Equipments instead of Copters or Gideons, no problem!
It it's good (like in, more than 55% win ratio vs UW Flash or GB Delirium), then people will want to play your deck. If not, we can help your to make it better.

I just tried test opening hand and a few rounds after that to see what I can play with the hands, it seems its quite unstable for the mana and damage... It is hard to balance between equipments, artificers and ally (as I am trying to utilize Captain's Claws). The spells I used are Ride Down and 2 Incendiary Flow only... So maybe I will just leave it first :|
This deck is sweet.
I went 3-0 in a weekly standard yesterday without losing a single game.
Round 1: 1 - 0 vs Aetherflux reservoir control
Game 1: I managed to race him out despite he constantly bounced back my creatures / gained ton of life. Hanweir Battlements actually helped a lot here!
Game 2: I drop him to 1 then he fires his combo with flickering Torrential Gearhulk gaining like 25 life in the process. We were on extra turns short after and he did not manage to kill me to get a draw.
Round 1: He was greedy. If he cast Fumigate on curve that game could've gone either way. But he decided to wait one turn so he can remove more of my creatures and I would have less cards in hand. I played Selfless Spirit. Opponent said GG.
Round 2: He kept a greedy hand and got punished again. I had 2 Hanweir Garrison & 2 Thalia's Lieutenant on the table and he was dead before he could cast that Fumigate
I had a feeling that with Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and multiple Hanweir Garrison it's not a big deal to get 5 tokens for the Westvale Abbey. How about replacing one Aether hub with it? I never needed it so far, and since it's a 1 time mana fixer maybe it will work out this way?
I don't think I like boarding out Selfless Spirit against UW flash. He can deal with Fumigate and Avacyn, the purifier the turn he flips, as well as protect our swarm of small creatures when we flip our Avacyn (& enable that flip even).
I was thinking about Incendiary Flow vs Fiery Temper to get some more value of the copter but seems like exiling those artifact creatures can slow down delirium quite substancially. Maybe a 2/2 split with sideboard option? But then again sideboard is so tight already...
Anyway I love the deck and will keep experimenting with it. Let's see it moved to tier 1!

Congratulations!
The deck is sweet and fun to play. Main is full of what's needed to win Game 1, and SB is a killer to most deck archetypes in the format. Welcome to the club, and keep us updated on your results!
BTW, were you playing the exact same list that I posted in the Primer?

I feel that by the time the deck gets there (5 creatures), we're already winning. Sacrificing all that to Ormendahl and risk losing it to Stasis Snare, To The Slaughter, Reflector Mage or another removal that can deal with it is too dangerous in my opinion. It's cute, but not needed I think. Go ahead and test it if you feel it's good. I may be wrong, and your playtesting may convince me otherwise.
Concerning Aether Hub : it's there for color fixing, mostly for WW or RR. It's ok if it's a one time use in my opinion. It enters the battlefield untapped, provide colorless most of the time, and save the Day once in a while. I did the math, and really the deck needed those extra colored lands. The numbers haven't changed, as the Needs are the same. But maybe I'm just too cautious with those probabilities...

UW Flash / Azorius Aggro doesn't play Fumigate in the 75 (according to MTG Top 8). Maybe in your community the deck runs a slightly different list. Adapt to your metagame if it's different than mine.
Sideboarding is so hard with this deck. Main is very good as it is, tight, and it's always cruel to cut a card.

I would like to play Fiery Temper for 1 with Copter (near impossible during opponent's turn). But that won't happen most of the time. For the rest of the time, playing at sorcery speed and exiling is just very good (for 2, and not 3). Scrapheap Scrounger, Prized Amalgam, and all of Delirium are screwed if they get exiled.
In playing 3-4 color Humans, I have found Hanweir Battlements to be generally superior to Westvale Abbey. But a deck like this with more reach vs GB Delirium may be different. The examples that patbou gave for cards that could deal with a flipped Ormendahl didn't seem quite right to me. I think Ruinous Path doesn't deal with Ormendahl because of indestructibility, so stock GB Delirium lists can only really answer it with Ishkanah activations or Liliana zombies. Both of these are quite slow, so you have a chance to burn them out.
In my GB delirium testing, I have found myself unable to answer Ormendahl. In this case, even without burn, the Delirium deck will mill out first because of all the self-mill.
I am not saying that any of Battlements, Abbey or Hub is best in this deck. I don't know. Abbey does seem particularly strong to me vs GB Delirium, and in heavily Delirious metas, I could imagine it being best.
Having sacrificed everything already to Ormendahl, it will attack alone and be prone to that spell. That's VERY bad. Some GB Delirium decks play 1-2 To the Slaughter in their 75. Not much, but I think the risk-reward ratio is not good enough. And with the current domination of UW Flash and their 3-4 Stasis Snare + 3-4 Reflector Mage that eat Ormendahl for dessert, I'm just not comfortable with Westvale Abbey (considering the cost of wiping our own board).
It may be a good SB option against Delirium (I already wrote somewhere in this thread how good Ormendahl could be against them)... but what to cut?

Good point. But Delirium is not a fast clock. If I can get 5 creatures, I may well be able to get to 6 or 7 creatures. So To the Slaughter is sometimes not really very difficult to play around.

Really? Everytime I played against GB Delirium, I felt it had so many removals that me getting to 5+ creatures would take a lot of luck.
(Don't you think Westvale Abbey is supremely bad against UW Flash, the most played deck at the moment?)
BTW, my store hosts a PPTQ this Saturday, so if anyone has last minute suggestions or contributions to make for this deck, you're all welcome!

Yeah, it's happened. But it only happened because of Westvale Abbey. I was playing pretty much stock GB Delirium against Naya Energy. In game 3 they had about 4 real creatures and Westvale Abbey. For 3 turns we just stared across at each other and they made tokens before sacing 3 tokens and a few bad creatures to make Ormendahl. Once they played Sigarda, I couldn't even use Ishkanah's ability to kill them. I milled out before getting to the Ob Nixilis Reignited (bottom card) to kill Sigarda, I would have needed multiple turns to kill them with Ishkanah after killing Sigarda anyway.
As for your deck (and bearing in mind that I haven't played it, so maybe I shouldn't bother), I am least enamored of the Galvanic Bombardments in a meta where the top 2 decks are GB Delirium and UW Flash. I don't even like the fourth Thraben Inspector that much. I would move some Incendiary Flow to the side and put in some Fiery Temper and the fourth Copter. Other cards that I would consider are Key to the City, Nahiri and (our old favorite) Hanweir Militia Captain.
Edit: Seeing your deck, I totally want to move Flow to the side, drop Bombardments and Flame Lash and go for Lightning Axe and Fiery Temper. Weaver of Lightning is even a Human! But, as I said before, you've actually played the deck.
hi pat, I just started using your deck and gonna try it with my LGS friends on Sat, I noticed this deck actually generates token quite a lot. I saw the discussion above on Westvale Abbey, how about Hanweir Militia Captain?
I tried this, but I am not very happy with it.
On the draw against UW it is painful, as they are the required step ahead and having the need of winning the dice roll is not very great.
I'm quite surprised. UW Flash is a favorable matchup for this deck (I'm undefeated yet against them). Maybe you got unlucky, or opponent got lucky. You have to realize that on the draw, you are almost always not the Beatdown against them. You should avoid playing your creatures first, and instead Control the board with your Burn Spells if you can. Don't be afraid to play into open mana and potential Spell Queller. They play a mind game with you. Even if they do have Queller, you can burn it next turn, removing the threat and gaining back your spell. Eventually, you'll be able to shift the roles... and beat them down.
Please try the deck again. I'm sure you'll fare better with it the more you play it.

If you have the time, hoser2, please try the deck on XMage. Maybe you'll encounter UW Flash or GB Delirium, or anyway have a good sense of what the deck can do.
Flame Lash is the most underrated card. Everyone wants me to cut it. As it is, I play 2 in the main, and up that to 4 post Sideboard against UW Flash and GB Delirium. It is *that* good. Amazing to top deck, it's at Instant speed and basically has three modes (choose one) :
Destroy target creature
Destroy target Planeswalker
Burn target player for 4 damage
The fact that if you keep your mana up, and the creature or Planeswalker threat doesn't happen (opponent plays something else), you won't have lost your turn as you just burn the dome for 4. That's far better than Ruinous Path, at it basically have no condition attached to the spell (imagine top decking Ruinous Path against Control or an empty board).
Galvanic Bombardment is there in the SB to respect the speed of the more aggressive decks (Boros or Mardu Vehicles/Dwarves, Gruul Energy, Rakdos Madness). Not removing their T1 or T2 creatures that can beat for 3-4 every turn is a sure way to lose. I'm very afraid Fiery Temper is too slow for that (Madness is very conditionnal). And as for adding a 4th Copter to help with Madness (or any other reasons), this really doesn't appeal to me. I've lost 2-3 games because of a second Copter (out of 3) while any Burn or Creature would have been better. I want one on the board, but never 2 (this normally dictates playing 3, and not 4).
BTW, were you playing the exact same list that I posted in the Primer?
Yup, the exact 1.4 version.
Thanks. The fact that you were undefeated too against UW Flash is quite telling.
@Togaras : Averethel's results are good testimony of what the deck can do. Again, I'm inviting you to re-test the deck. Hopefully, you'll have better results the next time.
We played like 6 pre boarded games, just in the times between other stuff, result was 2-4
there were games, were I did not draw any of the 10 burn spells, there were draws where he spell-quellered the only burn spell drawn in the game
there were games, were he build up a small defense line and I prepared for an attack line and the moment before something like melting Hanweir Garrison could happen, he played Thalia.
or he played Declaration in Stone on the guy I have 2 times.
and he just draw 2 Reflector Mages in most of the games
I can see what the deck does, but I dont see the deck to be "favorite" in overall against the UW deck. It is for both players just depended on their draws. The one who has the better curve-draw will snowball, while the other has trouble to come back. In addition, I see the player on the play being favorite in each game. I will keep the cards prepared to play with it, but for tournaments/PPTQs I will prefer BR Aggro deck.
I understand what you mean. It is true that the player on the play is favored in a matchup of UW Flash vs Boros Human Burn. But if you only played pre-sideboard games, you're missing the point in playtesting the deck. The sideboard makes the deck quite better. By adding Fragmentize to deal with Copter and Stasis Snare, and Flame Lash as an additionnal removal that can also deal with Avacyn and Gideon at instant speed, the deck suddenly becomes a lot better. They too have good sideboard, but from our collective experience, it is still a matchup in which we are favored. Either you start on the play, win game 1, side in/out some cards and proceed to finish 2-0... or start on the draw, lose, side in/out some cards to easily win game 2 (you're on the play) and then win game 3 (with SB that favors you). That's what happened to me all the time.
IMHO, never just test a deck pre-sideboard. As an example, Control is notorious to lose game 1, but wins anyway 2-1 considering all the information gathered in the first and second game.
Also, just maybe the deck doesn't fit your style. It seems straight forward to pilot, but it is not.
Edit : BTW, there's always variance. Amazing decks produce good and steady draws most of the time, but they can screw or flood like everyone. With 10 removals in the main deck, you normally have one in your opening hand, and should draw another one before turn 5-6. So if you played games (plural) where you draw no burn spells (out of 6 games), I'm pretty sure the top deck failed you badly, and that is not normally the case (extreme variance, akin to black swan).
3-0 in casual Standard play on X-Mage (with v1.5 of the deck, having swapped 1 Thraben Inspector for 1 Hanweir Militia Captain, that I never drew once in 6 games).
Mono-U Reservoir : Win 2-0. Another deck that can gain a lot of life. But playing so many removals in the main deck means that Foundry Inspector rarely stays on the battlefield for more than the turn it was played, and this screws their strategy. Also, our removals are not dead cards against decks that play a small number of creatures : just burn with them! (and win)
Grixis Fevered Vision : Win 2-0. Actually a Control deck that plays Fevered Vision to burn player and planeswalker, and strive on a lot of cards to prolonged the game until they win. But we get to draw extra cards too, and this is generally favorable to any deck that burns. SB, out : Fame Lash and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar. The first costs too much and you want to empty your hand. Gideon's +1 is pointless the turn you play him, and he just get auto-burned by Visions (and with Anticipate and Glimmer of Genius, having two in play is not that hard). In : Fragmentize can deal with Visions, and Chandra, Torch of Defiance can +1 and burn or accelerate your play (and survive double Visions for 2 turns). Eventually, a creature will stick around to attack and deal damage, and with Pia Nalaar and Hanweir Garrison that produce tokens, it's a bit too much for them to deal with (plus Selfless Spirit and Archangel Avacyn that protects key players).
Edit : So far at 12-3-1 with the deck (with the draw being intentional). It's been a long time since I've got such a good and reliable deck. I did 7-0-0 with Allies in SSS at GP Toronto 2016, but I must admit Lady Luck was with me in the semi-final (won 2-1 in sudden death) and final (won 2-0 with opponent getting a game loss, and I was on the play vs Control).
The deck is gaining some traction in the community. I saw 2-3 decks quasi-identical to my list on deckstats.net (posted after my deck appeared on MTG Top 8). There's one by Deedsy103 on which I commented and gave him the advice of swapping Declaration in Stone for Flame Lash. I'm quoting here his reply :
Hi there, thanks for the suggestion! I'm really loving the deck and I'm having a lot better time with it against the likes of BG Delirium and UW Flash! I'm heading to a PPTQ this weekend and I think I'll take your advice, I often side it in and I can see myself using in a lot more situations! Thanks for the advice buddy!
That's very inspiring, and it confirms what I've been experiencing with the deck so far.
Results updated : 8-0 in casual Standard on XMage. Of the notorious decks, I only met Boros Vehicles, Mardu Tokens, Rakdos Aggro and Mardu Control. Only Mardu Tokens made me sweat, and I won anyway.
Hanweir Militia Captain is not that good. In the games where he could have transformed (and he didn't, because opponent just have to remove a creature to screw you), it didn't matter anyway because getting to 4 creatures and the deck is winning already. Board stalls just don't happen if you can burn your way through, so the pseudo card advantage (Tokens generator) is really not worth it. I prefer Thraben Inspector to smooth out the curve. It gives a true card advantage at instant speed when you're ready for it, a Clue to sacrifice to Pia Nalaar and an easy 2nd spell to cast in the turn to make use of all the mana.
The deck looks very, very promising! I've always been a huge supporter of 75's geared towards preying on the more established Tier 1 builds.
I was wondering if you were willing to invest some time into explaining in more detail the most optimal way of piloting this list (v. 1.4) against both U/W Flash and BG Delirium? And have you even considered recording some of your games against these two decks to beat, which would certainly help us better understand the decision-making process while battling them?
Yes. I'll gladly do that later today or tomorrow. For now, I have to get ready for PPTQ. This will be a telling time : was I just lucky last PPTQ? Or is the deck as powerful as it made me beleive so far? Wish me luck anyway : there's never enough of that in tournament!
played the 1.4 version at my LGS's FNM yesterday and i ended the night at 2-1 which ranked me 3rd!
Round 1 - U/W Flash 2-0 needless to say i overwhelmed him really early both games, burning anything that stepped in my way
Round 2 - B/G Delirium 0-2 i kinda got boned both games, started strong then went down hill fast with bad draws. Kinda my luck :/
Round 3 - Mono-U Control 2-1 This match up was really rough for me just because he had his Thing in the Ice out pretty consistently and kept bouncing/countering/exiling everything i had. I spent a lot of my time trying to force him to use his mana so i could safely make plays. last game i overwhelmed him with tokens and and gideon.
overall i really love playing this deck. is there any other cards i could sideboard to maybe furthermore deter G/B Delirium?
A little bit of history first : Last PPTQ (of Nov. 6), round 2 of Swiss, I was defeated 0-2 by Max with his GB Delirium deck (he won that PPTQ). I faced two other GB Delirium decks in the Swiss, and won each 2-1. Top 8, first round, I was defeated 0-2 by Tom with a GB Delirium deck.
I came back from that event, thinking about how to best play the deck against GB Delirium. Since then, I only changed 2 cards in the main deck (-1 Flame Lash, -1 Gisela, +2 Thalia), and 2 cards in the sidedeck (-2 Repel the Abominable, +2 Flame Lash).
Today, I faced both Tom and Max. They were playing the same GB Delirium decks than last time (that defeated me 0-2). I won 2-1 against Tom in round 2 of Swiss. And won 2-1 against Max in an off the record game (after the tournament was over, just for fun).
My record so far against GB Delirium is : 0-2, 2-1, 2-1, 0-2, 2-1, 2-1 (not counting a 2-0 win against a rookie at FNM). Total is 8-8 after 6 games, but I won 4 of these. I would think that means that Boros Human Burn has a slight edge against GB Delirium. I'm very satisfied having brewed a deck that seems to have an edge against such a mean deck, and I have in mind a few modifications to make it even better.
The rest of PPTQ was surprisingly disappointing, but I'm not depressed. I'll post later the results (my family needs me for now).

Cant wait to here your results. Im gonna be playing this deck tomorrow at Sunday afternoon magic. Could you tell us your sideboard strategy for each game? Thanks!
ya well not to mention my opponent with the B/G Delirium deck is a phenomenal magic player but he managed to drop emrakul on me both games and well basically screwed me over. so is there perhaps room for a stasis snare in the SB? or maybe a more accurate answer to emrakul? other than emrakul, i was able to handle the grim flayers and ishkanah with ease.
Following up on my previous post (I'll answer the other posts later)...
VS AZORIUS FLASH
In the few games I played vs UW Flash before today, I was undefeated (2-1 and 2-1), and the matchup felt it was in my favor. Maybe I was too confident, and not careful enough. I faced two UW Flash today. I lost both, 0-2 and 1-2. Reality check.
Round 3 of Swiss vs UW Flash (0-2) :
Game 1, on the play. Took him down to 7 (and still at 20). I had Hanweir Garrison and another creature, facing a 2/3 and 5 mana. I chickened out, but should have attacked for 2 damage with the tokens, even at the cost of losing my creatures. Still undamaged myself, I would have burned the last 5 points of damage, instead of wasting my 2 spells on his flyers. But still at 7 life, and losing tempo, it was no longer possible.
Game 2, I mulliganed to 5 cards, but the game was going okay. I kept mana open to crack a Clue. Then the judge asked about that face down card under my graveyard. "Exiled by Declaration in Stone, sir". "Should be face up", he says. "Okay, sorry judge". My opponent says something. "It's my turn now? Okay." Untap, upkeep, draw. Damn! I forgot my Clue!!! I found out later the missing card was the land needed to cast Avacyn on curve. She would have screw his attack, maybe wiping his board. I lost tempo, opponent seized the opportunity. I lost 0-2. I hated myself and the judge so much then...
Round 4 of Swiss vs UW Flash (1-2) :
Game 1, on the play. I had some tempo and put him down to 9 (I was at 12). But then I flooded (9 lands out of 16 cards), and still frustrated by the previous game, I made a mistake and provoked an Avacyn flip that wiped my board.
Game 2, I sideboarded to keep a low curve ; +1 Chandra, +1 Flame Lash, -2 Gideon (he dies to flyers and can't deal with them). I managed to have the Hanweir Meld Combo on the battlefield. Instead of risking Stasis Snare, I attacked with Garrison and tokens. Opponent flashed in a Queller and double blocked Garrison. I melded it before damage, and won next turn.
Game 3, I brought back Gideon (3) and removed Inspector, Lieutenant and Garrison (one of each, to be reduce multiples and be less susceptible to Declaration in Stone and Reflector Mage). I had a good starting hand with 2 lands, Gideon, 2 small creatures and 2 burns. On the draw, 3 cards to go to find 3rd land is just fine. But I couldn't find the 3rd land before turn 5, and it ETB tapped. I top decked 4th land on turn 6, but it was too late. Whatever I could remove, he had lethal. I lost with 3 Collective Defiance in my hand.
Post-mortem : I still beleive my deck is favored in the matchup. I'm an average pilot, and I lost to piloting mistakes and extreme variance (mulligan to 5, then super flood and then super short). I'll take responsibility for the mistakes (a better pilot would have won round 3, I'm sure), and I'll revise my strategy vs UW Flash (and in general, recognize that 6 Life of less is Burn range). But super bad luck happens sometimes, and Life decided Round 4 would be a painful loss. Okay, Life, lesson learned.
PPTQ RESULTS : 2-3
Round 1 - Win 2-0 vs Jeskai Control : I thought at first I was playing against UW Flash. I got caught by surprise after he played a Mountain and casted Radiant Flames to kill 3 creatures. But I recovered, used my Burn Spells on him (with no creatures to kill, at least they weren't dead cards) and eventually Garrison could hit the board and stay there long enough to matter. In the end, Needle Spires sealed the deal. Game 2, I was more prepared, and Castigator was quite amazing.
Round 2 - Win 2-1 vs GB Delirium : Against Tom, that defeated me 0-2 last time (see other post for details). Things were going well!
Round 3 - Lost 0-2 vs UW Flash : That defeat was frustrating. Game 1, I was not aggressive enough. And game 2, mulligan to 5 + huge mistake because I was distracted by the Judge (see above).
Round 4 - Lost 1-2 vs UW Flash : Deck screwed up on me... super flood game 1 and super short game 3 (see above).
Round 5 - Lost 1-2 vs RG Energy : Gee... this deck really wins out of nowhere. Game 1, he was on the play. But I managed the board, and I was attacking with my Copter (he down to 14, and I was at 12). He only had Voltaic Brawler (tapped), so I added a creature, hasted it, and attacked for 6 (down to 8). Next turn he attacked with Brawler, activated its ability, gave it double strike and finally pumped it with Blossoming Defense (6/5 = 12 damage). Game 2, I was very controlling, and he couldn't do a thing to me. I was still at 20, and he was down to 1. He only had the Hydra (4/3). But he casted 3 x Larger than Life, spent 15 Energy to pumped it 5 more times, and attacked with 21/21 Trample!!! Luckily, Thalia was there to block, and I survived at 1 Life. Game 3, I was pretty much dominating the game again, and felt confident with 2 removals in my hand (Declaration in Stone and Galvanic Bombardment, with another one in my graveyard). But Hydra happened, he had 6+ energy in reserve, and there was nothing I could do to remove it. He won, obviously.
CONCLUSION :
I still totally love the deck. And fully trust that it can perform amazingly well with some fine tuning.
I need a sideboard solution vs Bristling Hydra (Blessed Alliance or Repel the Abominable).
Playing against UW Flash, I learned that I have to be more aggressive when opponent's life is low (and mine is high), even if this is at the cost of losing a key creature. Damage that gets through puts me closer to victory (my life will protect me, and I can thus focus on burning the dome, instead of controlling the board).
I was certain that Thalia, Heretic Cathar was a good addition to the deck. She's even better than anticipated. She screws Flash blockers. She screws creatures with Haste (like Lathnu Hellion). And she completely screws Delirium (Kalitas, Ishkanah, Emrakul, etc.). I will most likely add a 3rd copy to the main deck (in place of Pia Nalaar, that is not very impressive).
I learned that I can make stupid mistakes, get frustrated, and play more stupidly after that. This is not much, but I have to find a way to overcome that, and perhaps find a way to not forget about cracking a Clue end of opponent's turn (this happened before, but never at the cost of a blatant victory).
I learned that I have to be more careful with Avacyn (mine or others). She can flip, and that's not good with Weenies.
I learned that I'm perhaps sideboarding too aggressively, warping the deck and the basic strategy too much, and increasing the curve a bit too much.
Not that there is much to do about it, but all my drop-2 creatures are bad vs Liliana. Selfless Spirit (2/1) and Thalia's Lieutenant (1/1) all die to her +1 ability, as well as Pia's Thopter and Garrison tokens. If anything, this tells me that I have to be careful when to play the Lieutenant, that Gideon's emblem is very good to screw Liliana, and that some of these creatures should be swapped out post-SB for creatures that survive Liliana (Hanweir Militia Captain is again under consideration, and Gisela may make a comeback).
In the end, this will translate in v1.6 with 3 Thalia, Heretic Cathar in the main, a slightly different SB to take into account the RG Energy decks that are played at my store, new SB plans for the play and draw that will respect the curve more, and basic strategies that I learned and that I have yet to put into practice.
Of course, I'm disappointed with 2-3. That's not at all what was expected. But I learned so much today, that I'm very positive for next time, and very proud to share my experience with the community. I'm sure better players out there can pilot this deck to victory.
ya well not to mention my opponent with the B/G Delirium deck is a phenomenal magic player but he managed to drop emrakul on me both games and well basically screwed me over. so is there perhaps room for a stasis snare in the SB? or maybe a more accurate answer to emrakul? other than emrakul, i was able to handle the grim flayers and ishkanah with ease.
Thalia, Heretic Cathar is the best answer to GB Delirium. She lets you be a lot more aggressive, as their blockers ETB tapped (just think of not having to face Kalitas, or Ishkanah and her spiders, for a full extra turn). If they take the time to remove her, this has the same effect of delaying their blockers. This is a lot, because you can then spend an extra burn on the opponent instead of having to deal with a blocker. Not to mention that having to play Emrakul tapped is really bad for them. They lose the Mother Eldrazi for the extra turn they're controlling you (and a creature will survive), and lose it too on your normal turn when you attack for the win.
I'm telling you : Thalia will be at 3 or 4 in my main deck in v1.6!
Also, Gideon is very good in that matchup too. As a 5/5 indestructible, he eats up every blockers they can have, except Emrakul. You have to use it that way to keep them on the defensive. Either they block and lose a creature (not you), of they take 5 (which plays perfectly with the Burn theme).
Cant wait to here your results. Im gonna be playing this deck tomorrow at Sunday afternoon magic. Could you tell us your sideboard strategy for each game? Thanks!
I'm dead tired, so I'll keep that short for now (and maybe add some more details tomorrow).
UW Flash :
On the play = Keep the curve low and be aggressive. +1 Chandra (she Burns for 4), +1 Flame Lash (see Chandra) and -2 Gideon (dies too easily to flyers).
On the draw = don't give to much value to Reflector Mage and Declaration in Stone. So in order to reduce the risk of drawing multiples, I side out one of each basic Humans (-1 Inspector, -1 Lieutenant and -1 Garrison). -1 Gideon, as he is probably even worse when flyers are on the play, and -1 Copter because with less creatures it is harder to crew. +1 Chandra (she Burns for 4), +2 Flame Lash (see Chandra) and +2 Declaration in Stone (to compound on the multiples they'll probably offer to you). I used to side in Fragmentize because of Stasis Snare and Copter, but that was probably a mistake. Burn their creatures, and they'll eventually have to play Spell Queller at sorcery speed just to crew the Copter.
GB Delirium :
Lilliana eats your drop-2 for breakfast (2/1 or 1/1), remember that. +2 Flame Lash, +1 Gideon, +1 Chandra and +2 Declaration in Stone are the obvious in. -3 Selfless Spirits is fine, because Lieutenant can be pumped above 1/1 (and pump the rest), but Spirits are no Humans. -2 Pia Nalaar because she's quite insignificant in the matchup (and het Thopter too), and -1 Copter because it's hard to crew with less creatures.

So maybe I will just leave it first :|
I went 3-0 in a weekly standard yesterday without losing a single game.
Game 2: I drop him to 1 then he fires his combo with flickering Torrential Gearhulk gaining like 25 life in the process. We were on extra turns short after and he did not manage to kill me to get a draw.
Game 2: This took longer and he actually managed to get some Gideons and Avacyns up. He also a misplay of blocking my Thalia with Spell Queller that quelled Thalia's Lieutenant, which allowed Hanweir Garrison to kill his Avacyn. Swarming the board with emblem up did the rest.

Hanweir Militia Captain is very tempting, I admit. I don't know what to cut, however, to make room for 1 or 2 in the main deck. Maybe one Thraben Inspector...

I'm thus reverting to version 1.4 of the deck.

BOROS HUMAN BURN VS GOLGARI DELIRIUM

PPTQ RESULTS : 2-3
CONCLUSION :
I still totally love the deck. And fully trust that it can perform amazingly well with some fine tuning.
