The red mage lives by the variance and dies by the variance. May the variance be with you, always.
I love the basic plan of the deck, but I think there is room for improvement.
Perhaps adding Hedron Crawler next to the Curious Homunculus will help in the turbo department. Guaranteed turn 3 land destruction sounds good enough.
Imprison in the Moon on a basic land then Crumble to Dust is evil, but right now this move is quite unreliable since you have no way to assemble the combo. Open the Armory and Totem Hartebeest can help in this regard, but some good, old draw spell might do the trick here too. Perhaps you can even take a few hints from the mono-blue prison/prism decks that are performing quite well.
I should point out that imprisoned in the moon does not remove a supertype like 'basic', så Crumble to dust on basic lands does not work. (Imprisoned only removes types, not super types and sub types.)

I have dyslexia, no I am not going to spell check for you, yes you have to live with the horrors of it.
But I will give you this: The more key cards you have removed the worse Day's Undoing becomes for him as the lands vs spell ratio has been screwed. It should not that they tend to naturaly trim their decks land ratios. (The same goes for you.)

I would consider dropping the Imprisoned angle. 2 cards and 7 mana for an extraction effect is cute but not very efficient, and giving your opponent mana seems counterproductive.
Pieces of the Puzzle will help you find all of your...erm...you know. Maybe instead of the blasts since the copy effect will be pricey? If you go that route could swap some of the Sowers to the board along with a couple utility Eldrazi for Coax from the Blind Eternities
Unless you're all in on the mill win, Fevered Visions is great here.
An Engulf the Shore or two can help you stabilize against faster starts after you start eating land.
What I really want you to do is ignore all that and play Dreadwaters. Mill baby mill
