Indestructible? Protection from instants? Return to battlefield from graveyard? Declaration in Stone puts a stop to all that and every other creature.
For everything else, we have Negate and a little something called Spell Queller.
Creatures
Some of the best creatures in standard right now are humans, so why not use them? Thalia's Lieutenant pumps 22 out of 28 creatures in our deck, including Reflector Mage. Spell Queller has a 2/3 body and with an Always Watching in play, would be able to hold it's own against most removals/combat.
i was playing w 20 lands recently, but never had any problems casting DO with Knight of the White Orchid in the deck. for now, i'm trying to see how low i can go with the land count.
i have been playing it against bant company (8-2), Jund (6-0) and Demonic Pact/Harmless Offering (1-4). i have been on a good run maybe winning against most decks but seem to stumble to the Nahiri Harmless Offering/Demonic Pact deck. Didn't sideboarded for any of the games. will update more results soon.
Are you not playing Dragonlord Ojutai main deck? If so, why not? Also why no Archangel of Tithes?
hi. i was playing DO in the mainboard but there were a few times that it was stuck in my hand due to the lack of mana. So i've subbed in selfless spirit instead.
Archangel of tithes is a good card but i'd rather have a more aggressive play.
Intro:
This deck is basically a Mono-White Humans deck with a splash of Blue.
Using some of the best cards from EMN, this deck has more resilience compared to the mono-white cousin.
Why Blue?
2 obvious reasons.. Reflector Mage and Spell Queller.
Always Watching
The namesake of the deck, the card that makes us dangerous and basically a wincon.
Unlike the UW Spirits deck, this deck goes for the kill asap. Keep putting the pressure and placing our opp on the clock.
