MTG Salvation

U/R Dragon's is mainly a Burn/Control deck with the creature focus on dragon's. I did not want to go heavy into counter magic as it seems counter-intuitive to the burn plan, but a necessity to stop anything I am unable to burn out. I went with Scatter to the Winds over Silumgar's Scorn for a couple reasons. First, its always a hard counter no matter what. Even with 7 Dragon's, there is still a percentage of chances that you have nothing to reveal or in play. Secondly, the Awaken is extremely relevant in the late game, especially when you can put the counters on a Wandering Fumarole. Any help on the spell package would be invaluable as my Counter- Magic skillz are not very refined. The sideboard right now is just designed to fill big holes and needs refinement. The one issue I see going forward is the lack of a big sweeper and am not sure if I want to try out a number of Crush of Tentacles, Engulf the Shore or Displacement Wave in conjunction with K-Return's as a sweeper option..

Went 3-0-1 tonight at FNM, beating the Mirror first match, which was kinda odd, then got a draw vs. Mono Black, game 2 we both proceeded to top deck land for 6 turns while his enchantment pinged me down to where his Smasher was lethal when he drew it. Third match was against G/W Allies which I handled easily and the last match was vs. 4c Rites Game 1 I rip my 6th land after he over extended and I drop Chandra and wipe him clean not much he could do after that.
Changes going forward dropping the Anticipates for now in favor of 1 Dragonlord's Prerogative and a couple Silumgar's Scorn. I seem to have a bit too much Filter effects going on and I do like the idea of a couple moar counters, just need to figure out the numbers for each.

Latest iteration. Doing a little more streamlining. Dragonlord's Prerogative felt too little too late so I upped the Chandra, Flamecaller to 3 as she is a great finisher for this deck and still can ping for 6 off a Sin Prodder trigger. Scatter to the Winds still seems to be the best option for a Counter. Although Spell Shrivel seems like it could compete due to easier mana, the Awaken on Scatter is really good combined with a Wandering Fumarole and is a hard counter with no drawback. Still tinkering with sideboard trying to figure out my best options for G/W Tokens and W/x Humans. The lack of an x/3 capable sweeper still concerns me, Displacement Wave was too slow to fill that role. I do like Disperse a lot as it can really interrupt some well thought out plays, wrecks Ormendahl, Profane Prince, bounce an Always Watching prior to damage, save a permanent, etc., its just very versatile. My favorite is the tried and true effect of bouncing a permanent and then counter it on its way back to the field.
